  1. its no 500ft S&S 3 tower complex but I'll take it...idk about the design though...i hope it works.
  2. but all of that costs money which is something Knotts probobly will not be willing to do:)
  3. ya but the recent pictures i had the lighting sucks and the quality was even worse. Psyclone and Apocalypse virtually occupy the same amount of land on the exact same location so its inconsequencial. Stop complaining:)
  4. What do you guys think they can do to make Ghost Rider better? It ha ssuch an awsome layout and used to be so great...what can they do to smooth out the ride? Is it the trains or the track that is the problem? Also, when are they planning on painting Xcelerator's Track?
  5. How many did they remove, that curve only had like 6 though right? I cant really remember how many it had when it launched. I do agree that the ride was a bit over-controlled as my ride we flipped only twice and were held for about 2 minutes on the brake pad. No granted I am no fan of Green Lantern...it is a fine addition but it is more uncomfortable than thrilling....It just whips you around over and over...it isnt painful but its uncomfortable...idk but it just doesnt seem to gice the gratifying feeling I got from riding X for the first time or X2 when it reopened... What do you think SFMM has planned for the Deja Vu spot? Ive seen some ideas on sites like Planet Six and I was imspired with my own. What if they completely removed the walkways towards the current entrance and let Johnny Rockets be the end of that walkway where the path meets the hill. From there, they could use the land behind Apocalypse so that it could wrap around Deja Vu's current spot on a Candy Cane shaped layout. If they wanetd to, they could even remove Cyclone 500 and use that for the line and loading station. One possible layout is this: -note: Red-Track, Green-Line, Purple - Exit, Blue - Lift, Highlight - Station
  6. What about Goliath, Apocalypse, RRE, Canyon Blaster, Riddlers, Viper and Batman...they could all be moved...and the others could also be moved as well, with some adjustments. Those are not likely. Goliath is too large to be realistic, Apocalypse is wood and since the aprk is not closing they would not want to put up with that, RRE just got here, Canyon Blaster is a kids coaster which they seem to feel as though they needm Riddlers is not going anywhere as it is too popular and too big, Viper is too old for it to be worth it and it is on terrain, and nearly every SF park has a batman so its not going anywhere. Thus, the only other coaster we should be concerned with is Scream but I feel that is still unlikely but less so than all the others
  7. Well, we are back in the 80's again where they just shift coaster around and around without really making something new. SFMM is lucky in the sense that most of our coasters cannot be moved, in fact I think Deja Vu and Scream are th eonly ones what even have the possibility of moving to another park. I am so sad to see Deja Vu go but it could be worse because the other Six FLags parks will benefit even less because they get recycled rides without having an awsome collection already unless they are Gread Adventure, Great America, or Over Georgia. I just hope for two things if Deja Vu leaves us. The first, that whatever it is is as good or better than Deja Vu thrill wise and that it is permenant. I dont want some little rinky dink ride put on Deja Vu's footprint....I want a megacoaster that occupied Cycloon 500, the Junkyard, AND Deja Vu's foorprint. All I can say is that I am, once again, disappointed.
  8. Check this out, this is a music video which has a mix of official and individual off ride footage of the good stuff at Knotts with some pretty cool music. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTLGIBBeVsU
  9. ahaha well I suppose with the right incentive and the right amount of cash somethign is going to have to beat Balder someday:) And are you serious about Drachen Fire? I dont miss it because I miss riding it, I miss it because it was a unique coaster with elements that were exclusive to it and can no longer be experienced. Plenty of coaster enthusiests miss the Chrystal Beach "Cyclone" but since im sure most of us were not born yet when it was in operation, im pretty sure they could not have been on it. When I say I miss the Drcahen Fire, I suppose I should right missed because I leterally missed it but it is my #1 coaster I wish to ride but cannot. In fact, I argue that it has the best layout of any Arrow coaster...ever
  10. ugh its not over till its over but this makes me so sad...it is such a great ride and nothing SFMM will build with this management will probobly top it...it was just such a unique experience
  11. ahaha that is funny:) but with fright festthis year, someone at Planet Six said that Colossus may not be going backwards this year, is this true?
  12. Well We cant really yet because at least from what we have seen so far, they are two very different rides where their layout do not really do the same things so I dont think that comparing them will be an issue. The only thing that some will say and I agree with is that we want the coaster that replaces BBW to be an experience that holds a candle to the original-meaning that it is something that offers a fresh new experience that does a litttle of what BBW did great but also something differeent too. But to tell you the truth, I think their next thrill ride will be build on the drachen fire site but it has taken a lot longer than I would have thought. I personally think that BGW's collection of steel coasters is great and a woodie would compliment this well. I dont know if we need a gwazi, but I would be very interested in getting a larger version of Balder (Im sure Elissa would agree) if it is Intamin or Roar of it is GCI. But seriously, I miss the Drachen Fire, it didnt need to leave. If it was at a Six FLags park, it would have stayed
  13. Im so excited to try this, I have heard so many great things about it
  14. frankly I really dont care...I didnt accept what he wrote any more than what I wrote. My points were as valid as yours and my remark at the end was slightly cruel but we was self-admittedly being a d***. Thus being the thick skulled teenage that I am, I responed accordingly:) We are all allowed to bitch, but he made it personal. What do you people have against criticism? Are we supposed to accept everyhting we see with warm enthusiasm? If I had said "disapointing" and that was it, he would not have cared and neither did you but I simply explained why. To this, he went crazy. I do not have anything against either of you and if what I said offended either of you, I am sorry. But seriously, everyone bitches on this site and yes, i have read the forumns. But suddenly what I want to bitch about is not okay? Are you serious?
  15. sure, at least they dont accept mediocrity. Where are your standards? We can speculate... which is what a lot of this is. People on this site can bitch about all the small stuff too, im not critising that..many of us are total coaster snobs or coaster whores when it comes to this stuff...then there are some of us in the middle...though i am probobly leaning towards the snobby side, it is clear where you are. Im sure you bitch about stuff to, at least I explain the why. Restraints are one thing but the appearance and perfromance are another. This project has been hyped and then when we see the leaked designs, we get a good idea of what we will get...dont inflate it with what isnt there. What we will most likely get is right in front of you. If im wrong I will admit and and dont forget, I hope I will be. Im sure there will be some people that like this...I just dont as of now. My opinion of the ride may get better as I see more but I am not intrigued as I have been with past projects like Griffon and Drachen Fire. I assume you believe me to be a teenager due to how I disregard spell check and the mannor of which I say things...well all I can say concerning how we are presenting ourselves for you is that you may want a different prof pic...unless that isnt actually you of course:)
  16. your being kinda a d***. I was giving an opinion of what I saw...im not judging the final product. How many times must I say that? But I still have never been surprised. And the I305 thing is silly, everyone I have ever spoken with knew it was going to be awsome, it is the tallest drop into a curve ever which was really amazing...it is awsome and we all knew it. 13 was garbage apart from the one surprise but we all knew it was coming. Honestly, IDK how people are surprised with these things. What you see is almost allways what you get with thrill rides...unless we are talking about roughness or something but that is also usually apparent as you know who is making it:)
  17. What do you mean? The Deja Vu thing is just rumours. All we really know is that Thrill Shot is going Bye Bye:)
  18. Good lord, I have not yet judged the ride, I have judged WHAT I HAVE SEEN. I made that clear from my first post. But, I have yet to be surprised by something I have looked at and gotten an idea of what to expect. Why are you people so aggressive with this. I said I was disapointed with what I saw, and explained why. I never said anything along the line sof YOU ARE WRONG or anything childish along those lines. I said something contrary to what you believe and you get offensive and defensive I guess, acting as though I insulted your mother or something. Instead of explaining why I could be wrong, explain why I am wrong. I want to be wrong believe me, but I doubt that I will be. What have you seen in that leaked concept and blueprints that this will be an amzing coatser that is Busch quality?
