OpenRCT2 TPR server?

If I have some time, I might be able to set something up. I had it working earlier but there needs to be some tweaking and other stuff I don't know how to do (money? map?). This would be running off a old-ish PC (i7 920, 6gb RAM) that I use to run a Teamspeak server, Plex server, and some home stuff. It should be stable since RCT2 doesn't eat up that many resources. I won't do much once it's up, just start and forget mostly. Aside from any needed OpenRCT2 updates. I guess we'll see then! -
This refurb was very good overall. The new movie is great and continues to cover the history of the presidency, exactly as it should. It's a bummer to lose Morgan Freeman and the previous Lincoln VA though. The Trump AA isn't good (but its' movements are incredibly smooth and lifelike!), but then again Disney didn't get the mouth and ears on Obama perfect either. I wonder why they haven't been able to these recent AA's on point? As long as you can stop crying over three minutes of Trump, you'll enjoy it. It's a show about the history of the presidency and not some massive political statement. I have no political stance at all, so maybe it's easier for me to ignore the "issue"?

That's a really cool concept and a great way for the cockpit to be empty when new guests are boarding. It seems like it may have similar problems to an omnimover however when the load/unload times take longer than anticipated for whatever reason. It isn't a big deal on a ride like Haunted Mansion to sit in the same spot for a minute but in a simulator type ride that might detract from the ride a little bit more. You say there's 4 turntables but any idea how many "cockpits" are supposed to be on one turntable? It'll be interesting if they have leave some extra time around load and unload in case of slow downs. Maybe after landing or however it ends, it'll have some stuff going on (droids being droids, people running by, etc) so you aren't just staring at a black screen? I have literally no idea how many cockpits and I don't know if anyone ever mentioned how many there will be. I think one of them drew up how it was roughly going to look but I'm not sure where it was posted. This is at WDW, but same setup applies at DL. Credit goes to Bioreconstruct:

This is for the Falcon ride. Insiders have been saying for nearly a year it's a turntable and the construction confirms that there will be 4 total. The doors open, you step into the cockpit, doors close, your cockpit moves and the next one on the turntable lines up. It's going to be a neat ride system in action. Apparently this isn't an actual build either, one of the insiders mentioned it's render.

Hang around for 2-ish years after the land opens then change the theme. But last week one of the insiders dropped that a last minute proposal to connect the exit of Star Tours to SWGE was being considered. Basically a really long exit ramp that would dump you into an area by the entrance to Alcatraz. But like they state, chances are very slim so don't expect it to happen. If you want to see the full resolution image, you'll need to have an account over there. They are. The park is slammed. -
Wait, huh? Maybe I missed something, can I get a source on all this? Source are in the threads over at the WDWMagic forums: https://forums.wdwmagic.com/forums/wdw-parks-news-rumors-and-current-events.4/ There's a great thread that's been put together by a member over there that sums up all the currents rumors/hints/confirmed happenings that has a source for each of the bullet points: https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/rumor-and-timeline-tracker-v-2.934137/

They're interested in the other more unique things going to WDW. This isn't the topic for it, but the Star Wars land rides will be packing some interesting tech that they are pretty excited about. The replacement for Stitch was a Wreck it Ralph AR attraction, then VR, then 3d, then stalled and now it kinda unfroze since the pre-show is becoming a meet and greet but apparently it's a new project. So hopefully no more Stitch by the 50th. Apparently The Seas pavilion might have a cool thing happening if the proposal goes through but that is apparently a few years away and is heavily subject to change. A new ride in the UK pavilion is greenlit, Coco to the Mexico pavilion in about 2-3 years, and Brazil getting closer to locked in are other things happening too. But on top of that, demo'ing a chunk of Innoventions and turning it into more flat space as it stands right now doesn't sound good. So I can get why "just another" coaster isn't exactly thrilling to them. I'm somewhat looking forward to it but it would've been nice if they expanded Epcot instead of replacing (On topic of replacing, a proposed spot for Tron was Fantasmic! A couple other insiders confirmed it as well). The "big bang" conversion for UoE would've been very cool. I'm pretty trusting of these 2 specific people as well of the others on that forum. They've been right with just about everything over the last 10+ years.

Two of the insiders over on wdwmagic (marni and wdw1974) have said (as it currently stands!) to not expect a dark ride portion. Essentially get in, launch, fly by/pass through objects like RnRC and Tron, and that's it. They haven't pegged a time but it's apparently comparable to RnRC. There'll be multiple pre-show areas though since the UoE building will only house load, unload, and queue. There hasn't been any hints on the ride system yet. They haven't said much else on it because they aren't too enthused with it.

I have one serious question: Is trashcan man back? I couldn't find him and his beeping trashcan last year! -
Ever since these Tron rumors started popping up I though it would be cool if they could modify the speedway ride path and have the ride go inside of a the show Tron building for some indoor and outdoor scenes. Might even be a chance to update the whole concept and make it more modern and interactive. That or it'll just get torn down entirely, I really don't care either way. I wouldn't miss the Speedway at all. The insiders were reporting there were 3 plans for Tron. Replace the Speedway, put it behind the Speedway, or stick it in Epcot. Since one of the proposals for the Epcot spine overhaul is Tron-like (on top of SSE's and Test Tracks Tron styling as well), they apparently didn't want to stick it there. So from what it looks, add it to MK and let Guardians take UoE instead of Tron taking it over (or the Big Bang proposal). And these are the same people that knew about Avatar Land and its' ride systems well before any of them were announced or broke ground. So I feel good about believing them.

I was there on 10-23 and 10-24. Raptor was open, Gatekeeper opened later I believe, but TTD was down almost all day I think. I was surprised to see TTD down almost all day Saturday. It was open when the park opened if I remember right, but sometime after noon/1ish it closed. -
I've been using a strap that I bought in Ocean City meant for water. Still been holding up fine. I'll never forget the time that I lost a lens on Maverick though. First turn after the drop loosened it, the following turn launched it off my face. That was fun explaining to my friends how it happened since it was just the one lens. Came back to the station with probably one of the most confused looks on my face.

A fun comparison using TPR's videos. Old is top, new is bottom Obviously as everyone stated, the end is changed alot. Something that no one noticed is the supports aren't as "sloppy", there's alot less of them. Mainly the ones making the "X". -
The NL/NL2 Preview Thread

Been slowly building up my small park I've been working on. It's been on Steam for a few months now and I'm slowly adding to it every few weeks. Speed Demon^, should be posted in a update on Steam soon. Sky Breaker^, a wingrider with a initial 60mph launch followed by a 85mph launch into a loop...thing(I forget the name). It's probably gonna be scrapped honestly. Spaghetti Bowl^, the next addition probably, not final colors. I have no idea how to support the lift hill so it may be going to a launch instead. -
I was not expecting this to be as good as it really was. This honestly deserves more recognition than NL2 Hub's Expedition Everest. EE was slightly disappointing, but then again that's what happens when you over hype something to the max (the plate with the video, non existant track ties, etc). You put a ton of work into this ride and it shows. Everything synced up great and the custom spiels were a really nice touch. What would I like to see from you next? A longer ride themed to another artist!

Hey guys, hopefully quick question. I'm going to my first ever Star Wars weekends tomorrow. I'm hoping to pick up the limited pin sets and other stuff. Is the best plan getting to the park at open and rushing to the Darth Mall or is there a better plan? Also, the Mall is back by the back lot tour, right?
