Is Gringotts a thrill coaster or family coaster?

Rode it twice today (Middle row and Last row) and I was amazed by it. I'm torn between it and Raging Bull for best coaster in the park. Also met Alan S. who's a really down to Earth dude and got to hug Jim Reid Anderson who is also a cool dude.

The only way it "might work" is if you remove Ninja, Put the station there, Go in the area between the train tracks and waterpark and turn past the picnic grove. Or just remove Ninja and built a coaster there.

IMO, Levithan was a kiddie coaster. Especially compared to Behemoth. Now this means that more RMC's can open earlier in the operating-season.

I'm torn between Iron Horsing it and bulldozing it and giving RMC 25 Million to design a great wooden coaster.

I would rather see a new Legoland built from the ground up then converting an old amusement park and removing a good chunk of the rides. Zamperla would probably be the best owner of the property. Or maybe Palace Entertainment?

^ While I would love for a legitimate dark ride we have to remember that this is Six Flags. However, they have surprised me in the past by replacing Deja Vu with a family area. I just have this feeling that every time they have any sizeable chunk of property available their first thoughts are 'roller coaster.' But, that location is directly adjacent to the waterpark. If we look at the Six Flags 2013 Annual Report linked here we can see that they list the Wisconsin Dells waterparks as a major competitor to the Gurnee park. I could very easily see a waterpark expansion in their continued attempt to outdo the horrible Mt. Olympus and (much better) Noah's Ark. It seems like a proper business strategy to make proactive attempts against your leading competitor. On a side note, Key Lime Cove has a ways to go to outdo the multitude of indoor waterparks like the Kalahari. I would love for Six Flags to add a Blaster type slide. That's about the Only thing I can think Of that our park doesn't have that Wisconsin Dells does. Too bad Great America can't pull a Holiday World and build slides around/through Viper.

This makes so much sense. lol. Now, if they could only clean up the evidence of cruel of unusual punishment that has been given by Hades 360. They won't until that has a malfunction incident... Which may be Next August if I were to guess.

I'd guess after The Mt. O incident, They wanted to make sure it wouldn't happen again. Yes I know Six Flags operations/maintenance is 4,000,000x better than Mt. Olympus but the General Public doesn't know that (They call the Police/News when A Coaster is stuck on a lift hill.)

It got sold to a carnival after the incident. Nothing much else.

I wish that Mind Eraser would get a new paint job, it's looking old and faded! Let's be honest, Every coaster except for Motor Coaster could use some a new color scheme.

You mean barely add anything except for an occasional kids ride or splash area for kids?

I don't see it going where Pictorum was. It would be really close to Sky Trek Tower and would make no logic to have 2 towers next to each other. The Hurricane Harbor entrance area would be much better, Or the Cajun Spot.

I'm pretty sure Knott's considers the Boardwalk to be from Supreme Scream to Wheeler Dealer, and I consider this section of the park to be the most lacking for sure. The 2013 boardwalk additions definitely helped balance that area, it would be cool to breathe some life into the former Roaring 20's area near the theater. I have hopes for this part of the park for sure, but as of now, they can do pretty much anything with the KOD building and I'll be happy. (Although I still want them to remove Boomerang, Skytower, Riptide, move Wipeout to Windseekers spot, and place a Mega coaster of any brand there!) I agree about Boomerang. Not so much about Sky Tower.
