  1. Imagine a B&M Hyper backwards ortin? Llub gnigar? htailog?
  2. Tomorrow I'm taking my younger cousins to Legoland FL. I've never been there before and my cousins (10, 8, and 6) want to ride everything there. Is it crowded at this time of year? What kind of plan do I make for the park? What rides to hit first? I'll be there at park opening but they want to ride everything, any tips?
  3. I don't know if SFMM said anything but what will be the minimum and maximum height restriction on Full Throttle? Also, I think this ride will be very intense (regarding that they don't put trims after the big loop). Also, I'm looking forward to the top hat with the track on top of track sort of thing.
  4. What is wrong with Gwazi? I thought that putting on the new trains made it a little better. What's going on with this ride? They need some RMC...that'll solve their problems. Always does! Haha. Anyway, I really liked Gwazi when it dueled.
  5. How is the Backlot Stunt Coaster at Kings Dominion ranked at 226 while the one at Kings Island ranked at 241. Aren't they the same ride?
  6. Zero G Roll Through the Key Hole is up and complete!!!
  7. I made a trip to Islands of Adventure today! First off, there were doing a lot of construction today with a big crane over by sinbad and dragon challenge. Dragon challenge was closed today. Harry Potter seemed different to me. The beginning and ending there was a green light of some sort and though you traveled through hogwarts. Jurassic park was closed when we went by and they said they don't know if it will open today. I couldn't tell what was behind the walls by the front of the park. Also, in the parking garage, it looked liked a lot of new advertising signs are in prep for city walk. One of them said something like "be in the movies every day." I forgot to charge my camera so I have no pictures. Heading to universal and will hopefully get some pictures.
  8. Screamscape reports that members of Universal, Warner Bros., and Comcast were "touring" IOA lately.
  9. They repainted around the splashdown area not too long ago when it looked like someone threw up all over it. It looks better now than it did before they painted that area. I can't wait to see this machine in its new fresh coat of paint. Is it just the track they are painting or the supports too?
  10. I was planning on going to Busch Gardens Tampa's Christmas Town event and had a few questions: 1) Does the park open up at 6pm or can you get in earlier with the event starting at 6pm? 2) If I do the Mrs. Claus feast, what time is that and when does everything open up? 3) What time should I get there to beat some of the crowd? 4) Are there anymore reviews of this event? 5) Is Friday or Sunday better to go? 6) What should be my plan around the park to see and do everything?
  11. This was a big shocker to me. I did not see this coming. Anyway, this is amazing! Aquatica at every Sea World park now!
  12. GCI: When Gwazi's received new trains in Janurary of 2011, it improved the ride but wasn't nearly as smooth as any one of your other coasters that didn't have PTC's before. Gwazi did get some retracking but again seems to be getting rougher and rougher. Are there any plans to fix this roughness on Gwazi?
  13. B&M: Will you ever make trains that seat two people across instead of four and have it fit on a smaller kind of track?
  14. MACK: What was the design process in the making of the Storm at Etnaland?
  15. S&S: Your El Loco's are crazy enough but all the ones you've built are the same design with a degree steeper drop. With an El Loco, could you use a vertical lift, a launch and make it a longer with more design elements? It just seems like you can do a lot with that kind of coaster design.
  16. B&M: Do you have plans in the near future of designing launch coasters?
  17. It seems that Universal Orlando is also getting its own "Evolution Plan!" Universal is really pulling it together! The next ten years are going to be amazing at Universal Studios!!! Screamscape Reports:
  18. ^It wasn't even that crowded last Sunday. Maybe 30 minutes maximum for every house.
  19. September 30th Trip Report: I am always excited for Halloween Horror Nights every year. I was questioning this years though without the scare zones. SCARE ZONE: I ran into two groups the whole night and probably walked the park 3 times and as there from 6:00-10:30. 2 GROUPS! The whole park seemed to have no scareactors!!! I was really disappointed! HOUSES (In order by my opinion of best) 1) Dead End 10/10-This house is a real "haunted house." The whole thing was perfect. Perfect scares, just the whole house was great! We did this twice with our HHN Express Pass (totally worth the money!!!) because their scanners were down so they couldn't really mark off on the express pass! This house was one of the best houses I personally feel HHN has made during the past three years. 2)Gothic 10/10-I enjoyed this house too but I just liked Dead End a tiny bit more because of being in a "haunted house." Gothic had really cool elements and scares! This was a great house! All of the scares were great and the detail was incredible! 3)Silent Hill 8/10-This house seemed very short to me and it didn't seem to have a lot of scareactors in it. The whole atmosphere, detail, and burning ash smell was great. The scares weren't as good as Dead End and Gothic but they were "well." A decent house. 4) House of Horrors 8/10-I know a lot of people expected this to be better, me too. I was confused on who the monster was a lot during the rooms but it did offer some great scenes and scares. I know there was a Frankenstein scene that was really cool and Dracula. Great scares, not enough detail. 5)Walking Dead 7/10-This house was just confusing with the different rooms right after another. The rooms just didn't seem tofollow. There were tons of scareactors in here but not a lot that did any scaring, just staring at you and making weird noises. This house also seemed really short and the ending was terrible. It seemed like they rushed to put this house together and just threw together an ending with the fence where you could see all of Disaster's queue. 6)Penn & Teller 5/10-The only thing I liked in this house were the one or two red buttons and the interactive things in there. The 3d just made it weird and the whole house was just stupid, didn't get it. They could've done a lot better with this and it was such a weird theme. No real scares in here too. 7)Alice Cooper 4/10-This house was just plain dumb, that's all I have to say about this. BILL & TED-I was so confused in this show, it was not funny, and was dumb. Fiends is a lot better! Overall, I feel this event this year was lacking in a lot of areas and hope that they will fix it and do something about the scarezones. I was really upset about the scarezones! They had 2 or 3 great houses but the rest were just "decent" and "ok." I did have a fun time however. Hopefully next year will be better! Howl O Scream does a lot better with the scare zone thing and their shows. HHN has better houses though.
  20. Another hypercoaster? Also I would like to see a simulator or shooting ride. Something different for six flags.
  21. WDW's FB Page has released all new photos of Journey of the Little Mermaid!
  22. I had no idea that Orlando Attractions Magazine was in my group! Here are some videos of the event from them: This was the video with all the HOS information! I asked the flashlight question and was standing next to the lady in the video! This is the Vampire Casino house info before we went inside. I was the one in the curtain thing! Scareactor mock auditions!!!
  23. Yes...260 for the roaming hordes. The guy said each house ranges from 38-60 actors, depending on the layout/size and length of the house
