After a tough week across Germany, it was already time to begin a huge trip to Spain. By car heading for Madrid in order to go where we want. After the two parks in Madrid, we will go to Benidorm Terra Mitica and finally we conclude in Salou for Port Aventura. Ole! [/url] This is our first stop in Spain. If we don't count the petrol and toll roads in France is this a very cheap stop for people with a jearpass of Bobbejaanland. (Free entrance in parque warner and Parque de Atracctiones) Because this is not our first visit to this two parks we knew where to stay. Alberto Contador's village next to the big city "Pinto. Somewhere along the edge of the village next to Pinto was "San Martin de la Vega, the village where Warner is situated. The parking was on the expensive side (in European terms) but that was the biggest cost of the day. We know the Spaniards by now because of their slow but nervous character, and expect that there are no attractions open yet for 11 hours. No problem, I was able to wait 10 minutes. Generally I can be short in terms for this Warner Bros theme park ... finished in theme! You can still smell the Six Flags atmosphere. But when we arrived at the monster-like Booberang we see that the train is stuck between the loop and second lift hill. Darn it! that did not seem healthy. And the fear became reality because Stunt Fall can not be opened in my presence. That also goes for the beautiful log flume "Rio Bravo which includes a crane. But the other rides like the B&M Floorless or Batman La Fuga are open. Superman'sFloorless effect is such a great feeling. Although the track is horribly close to my feet it's my nr 2 favorite ride in Europe. A steel monster that every European coasterfan should have done. Unfortunately, the decor inside the station is not as finished as the outside. Batman (La Fuga) on the other side has a nice waiting area which is also based purely on the comics. The combination of the waiting area, the square outside Gotham City and the rock-solid B & M Inverted, why are there so few parks that can make things like this? Unfortunately, the area also some less attractive and successful attractions for both sides as Superman and Batman. Lex Luthor is a fairly bare top spin with a silly program. This is done without the usual fountains in front. And what makes it quite annoying that long operator chatter during the ride. Many of the Spaniards just could never just keep their mouths shut, there must always be a great explanation. This is particularly annoying on busy days. And Batman had the "Knight Flight simulator. One of the setbacks because I expected more the simulator of the old WB Movie World Germany. I haven't done this ride with my previous visit and there was a bit bored with it. In retrospect this was that bad to skip this. That this people were annoying was proven many times in this park (but even worse in other parks), including the children's coaster where there made a lot of time between the rides for talking all the time. That wasn't so bat with both B & M's because when they sometimes wait 5 to 10 minutes for the trains to fill a bit (very quiet days). I have to wait until the trains were full, but assure you that this is not fun because the occupants are just mad and scream all the time and after 5 minutes I was almost mad himself because of them. To escape a little from those noicemakers we went to the Police Academy stunt show ... and the volume in that show was so loud that my ears are in the hotel itself still buzzed. The stunt show is similar to the version of the Italian Mirabilandia where they focus at stunts and speed with cars. Good show, terrible sound. During my last visit I was very impressed of Embrujado el hotel. This is a Vekoma Madhouse with an eerie atmosphere. I understand in fact nothing of all that Spanish, but the atmosphere in this house is so good. The decor and especially the movements are the way as it should be . I can call it a bit the Phantom Manor of the madhouses.During my first ride was a girl... about 12 years and had a sort of anxiety attack and could barely breathe because of this madhouse experience. Along the Gotham City Park was once a passage through the western part to go to the triple S & S tower. La Venganza del Enigma was the first day of out visit only with a drop or space shot and the other day it went to a combo. I've done a lot of rides including just by myself ... It was very quiet. Good tower ride on this program and also not the lowest in his genre. The western part, we are quite used to it in theme parks, But still a very nice area with a valve of an RCCA Woodie. Backseat a wonderful experience, a disaster in the front but with a beautiful sight.I've done worse coasters of this builder and the dry environment Made it a fantastic atmosphere in this area. The only dark ride in the park was a bit further in the children's area. This is not what I'm used to of this builder (Sally). Fair amount of cardboard and difficult to shoot targets and poor capacity.I can imagine that there could be a long line, especially at that work rate. Prices for dinner were a bit on the expensive side just as the souvenirs. We saw that the park is rarely sold anything, but things that are sold these two days was all thrown on the ground. Pretty tidy in the morning, in the afternoon a garbage dump. We also see this in other parks in Spain. On Spanish standards, the staff friendly, but have this habit of talking loudly, work slowly and a very Non- interested appearance. Parque Warner Madrid is great, like an amusement park is supposed to be with today's top coasters, lots of family and children's attractions and shows in an exceptionally nice jacket and well-known characters. I can show onrides of Superman, Batman, Venganza del Enigma and Coaster Express. We stayed in Pinto and then to drive to the Parque de Madrid atracctiones. After 3 days away ... finally arrived in Warner. Madrid is not close by Impressive is an appropriate word Oops, only opens at 12 hours? No problem, Superman is open. Gotham City! My No. 2 in my top list is from B & M. I usually perfer Launch coasters, but the track is perfect in my opinion. Show Embrujado for El Hotel. The atmosphere here has become a well-structured if you're lucky enough that it is quiet. If Horror fanatic II loved the main show, especially the animatronic during the ride. The food was upon entering is all normal, but during the main show was the much less palatable. Fantastic! This was a shame! The best Vekoma in front of me ... and closed. : ( So I cryed of in the Splash Battle "OsoYugi. A terribly wet splash battle. It may be a chaotic but a very nice version. The best part is that it's themed to famous figures. Nostalgia from the 70's. So I went to the waiting room of Batman la Fuga again to make some pictures. Superman: Hotel Embrujado : Day 2 ... much brighter but still not too warm. And again unfortunately without stunt fall. still out of service! Yes, the weather was better ... or maybe not ... Nice waiting area Embrujado Batman in action Wet rapid river And than it's time to move on. Gratis te bezoeken met een Bobbejaanland Abbo en leuk te combineren met Parque de atracctiones. With this I close off a very nice theme park to go to other parks Spanish parks. Warner is a must-do for every pretparkfan. Free to visit with a Bobbejaanland jearpass and fun to combine with the Parque atracctiones Madrid. What has become of Six Flags Belgium
Dacorian replied to Dacorian's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Oh yes, the flood: Uploaded with ImageShack.us It made sure that the Cobra never worked this year yet. Nonsense because after the flood, they have not even bothered to test the attractions. Just before the new season starts it's like 'oh darn, prolapsed supports'. How unprofessional can you be? The re- opening of Turbine is not a fact yet. The capacity of the turbine was a disaster and everyone wants to see NEW coasters and not one partially restored coaster that was build anno 1982. -

What's your favorite Flat ride?
Dacorian replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
sledge hammer @ Bobbejaanland. How can Huss make something so darn big? But the second has to be 'Talocan' in Phantasialand. Fantastic themed floorless top spin. -
Walibi is a Belgian park is one that started in 1975 by a close friend of my family, "Eddy Meeus. He was a toy manufacturer that opened a recreation park in one of several village borders. 'Wavre, Limal, Bierges... take Wa Li Bi and you have a type of kangarou. Due to medical reasons, the man had to sell walibi and all members of the walibi group (7 parks) to the Americans and re- named it in 2001 to Six Flags Belgium. Eddy Meeus died in the same year. It became an unseen investment in new attractions and new habits in the park, Belgium never saw rides like this even though they were not spectacular or unique but the first SLC, free fall and Wooden coaster was a fact. Unfortunately that could not help because just four years after the reform they had to sell it to star parks who in turn sold the park to the current French owners 'Compangie des Alpes, or short: CDA. Six flags invested for the last time in 2003 in the interactive dark ride 'challenge tunankhamon' and since then the park begin to shrink like a deflating balloon and rides like Turbine (schwarskopf shuttle) or Inferno (enterprise) who had to leave the park. Despite this there was still a high price increase during the last years, and no new attraction had to come to the park despite nearly 10 years no investment. This year, CDA wanted that the friendly walibi figure and all his friends make way for a young fresh 15 year old walibi with new friends. He's a part of the pop group 'WAB' and takes on his more evil brother and the rock group SkunX. The Americans made from this park a very strong brand in the country for although the huge downgrade in recent years, there has never been so many visitors like now. The new British owners (Star parks 2005- 2007)built a world first "Vertigo" in 2005 and was officially opened by Jean Claude Van Damme but was permanently closed immediately after the opening because of the premature wear. Even with this and all the daily technical defects The park is still hugely popular with the Belgians and even the neighbors who also have parks walibi themselves. Walibi Holland, Walibi Sud ouest (France), Walibi Rhone Alpes (France) and CDA will open her 5th Walibi park in Morocco 'Walibi Sindibad. The old mascotte 'Walibi The New Walibi in 2011 World's first ableway coaster 'Vertigo' (I did it 2 times, yeey! This is a unique credit) Old rides in Walibi before Six flags came: Bounty (Intamin Looping ship) 1993- 2002 Close because of six flags- very poor maintenance Tornado 1979- 2002- Six flags never used this very first Vekoma coaster Inferno 1975- 2010- too old Riviere sauvage 1975- 1995- Made way for the new log flume with invertor Secret de Licorne (darkride about the adventures of Tintin) 1980- 1995- Just left with no known reason Grand 8 Very first roller coaster in Walibi: 1975- 1983 Left to make place for big roller coasters And what can we expect from the park today? Almost all attractions are a legacy of Six flags. Flashback: (1995- Vampire: (1999- Cobra: (2001- Dalton Terror: (1998- Calamity mine: 1992- Build because of the Disney threat Loup Garou (werewolf) 2001- And of course the very popular event: Halloween 2000- This is the new theme song of Walibi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRmRav6QyUU Battle against his brother, the second mascotte of this park:

The new Walibi Belgium is not that good than i've expected. Many technical problems and the Boomeragcoaster 'Cobra is down for a very long time. No, Walibi doesn't have that 'fun' experience anymore. And one day after this we visited Bellewaerde park and made a ride on the new boat ride 'Jugle mission, the nev 'Voodoo river. Bellewaerde park is another park that doesn't want to grow. A very frustrating entrance and expensive food. But Bellewaerde park is more an animal/ zoo park than a theme park. Old rides in a very green area. Not open yet! First ride of the day: Time for the new experiance: I almost lost my camera here. New animatronics Damned, nothing opens together when the park opens. And one onride from that day:

Just like every year i've been to the openingsweekend of Europa park and I seen the Food loop restaurant. Here are my pics: I love this darkride! Oh, and I made some onrides too if you like to see it. Ciao Bambini in a new theme: Atlantica: EuroMir: Scene in the new area: -
Hello everyone! My name is Tim, I live in belgium just near Brussels and my hobby is to visit as many as possible theme parks in Western Europe. From the tiny to the big one's, I love them all. I give a lot of criticism when necessary and try to talk with parks to say what needs to happen. My favorite park is 'Europa park in Germany. But beyond that I visited many theme parks, I'm also a fan of making onrides. At this moment, I have more than 150 onrides. Oh, I'm not english So forgive my poor english! Nice to meet you all!

Like every year we return to the north of Germany to enjoy some German parks. Last year it was a bit different when we chose Fort Fun, Tripsdrill, Skyline Park and Europa Park above this. But now it's time again for the old habit. First we start with Germany's only theme park by the sea, Hansa park. This because I wanted to see the new rollercoaster ride (with a very strage name' Schlange Von Midgard'. One of the first family coasters from Gerstlauer in a Viking theme. Hansa park is a very beautiful park with many flowers and plants, a nice view to the sea, cheap food and unique attractions. And i like to say that this park is the owner of my favorite roller coaster, the Gerstlauer Launch/ EuroFighter/ Darkride: Curse of Novgorod. A must do for every coasterfanatic! This park currently has a main street under construction, with influences from Paris, Groningen and Bruges. And the first ride by it's entrance is the 32 year old looping coaster from Schwarzkopf 'Nessie. Wow, old machine, a true classic! Anaway, maybe pictures say a lot mor than just words... and I made many, many onrides in this park, enjoy! The new ride: Schlange Von Midgard Looping ship 'Fliegende Hai (Flying shark) Looping coaster 'Fluch Von Novgorod (excuse me for my screaming) Power Tower 'Monte Zuma' onride Crazy powerd coaster in Mexican theme 'El Paso express: I Love this spooky entrance! Novgoroood! OMG, crazy machine! Me in the oversize bell: Now, on to the next stop in our trip through Germany. This is for 'Heide park Soltau'. This name maybe sounds like it's more like a center parks, but it's actually a park full of thrill rides and little real family rides. I wanted to go here for Heide park's new ride: Krake! A pirate themed B&M Dive Machine. It's a bit short but a cool ride anyway. This is the 4th top ride for this park after 'Colossos' (62 meter high woodie), 'Desert Race (Intamin launch) and Scream (103 meter high Gyro drop). We stayed in Hotel Port Royal, Hotel Heide Park. A pirate themed hotel just like the Krake, just on the other side from the hotel. We could see a skyline from Heide park and it's amazing to see all this coaster violence from our bed. Unlike parks in my area (Belgium/ Holland), this german park is very cheap in food supply and the attraction is a coaster fanatic so great. You can see this as a Six flags park with many beautiful decorations in and around the rides. Krake Onride (sorry for it's low quality, but the safety rules are very strict, I was able to film with my Mini- Can, with the people of Heide park knowing it) Bobbahn onride And for this special time, i tryed to do something special: Natural soundtrack in the 'Scream area, hope you like it! Pirates! first experience of the day is an immediate credit. 166: Krake! Pff..2th or 3th row? Holy crap! Free Fall! 103 meter free fall in this horror themed Gyro drop. Crazy launch of death in Desert Race Fantasic Splash battle in pirate theme! Again: Krake! Hungry animal in the waters! Forest of supports And the last stop is at Movie Park Germany, the former 'Warner Bros Movie World Germany'. Unlike the two previous parks is this a place better for families with children. Many dark rides, an indescribably beautiful Rapid River "Mystery River" and a few rides like a standard SLC RCCA or a wooden coaster. The only unique thrill ride is the Gyro Drop 'High fall. Not very high but... damn, how can I describe this... You don't really sit down, in fact, this only this is a small protection between the legs and Security brackets. And if that's not enough your seat tilt down when you reach the top. The drop in this way is very intense. The wooden coaster 'Bandit' seems to go without wheels, this is back seat a disastrous way to pure pain. That nobody can sustain an entire day. But, like I said, this sort'a things is better to see with onrides and pics, enjoy! The new ride/ indoor coaster 'Van Helsings Factory' is ready next month. This are my onrides: Crazy surfer, Disco coaster onride: Mystery River (Use to be the Neverending story) Many streets in this park. And now off to Spain for the other Warner Bros park in Europe.
