This could cause a safety issue though. The ride workers will still be pressured to load trains as quickly as possible. But at least the cars are designed not to move unless all bars are down. Also, riders take a long time to stow their loose articles like on YOLO. On Tuesday, they loaded my train in less than 60 seconds, but it made me kind of nervous so I kept rechecking that I was locked in tight. The workers are VERY motivated during the first week of a new ride, but a few weeks from now, they will fall into a slower routine. Somebody should figure out the recent average unload/load time for YOLO since the cars are almost identical. I still think they need to reopen the other side of the station. As a bonus, it would get rid of that ugly makeshift wall.

Yeah, they would need to reopen the other loading track and increase number of trains and then have an automated track-switcher that puts both tracks onto one track like the one on California Screamin. To save even more time, they could lengthen the station to allow simultaneous loading and unloading on each loading track like Disney World's Rockin Rollercoaster. There will always be people who take a long time to unbuckle the seatbelt.

Looking the the ride video...... 0:00 Train A leaves station. 0:30 Train A starts climbing blue track. 1:30 Train B leaves station. 2:00 Train A starts climbing green track at the same time that Train B climbs blue track. 3:30 Train B climbs green track alone. 4:30 Train A unloads. So non-stop racing is impossible. In order to have frequent racing trains, they must stall each new train on the ascent until the next train loads which will add hours to the ride wait time.

They could do so, but it would slow down the queue. They would have to load each train in about 60 seconds (which won't happen) or they would have to stall the first train on the hill until the second train loads. Realistically, I think the high five moments will be very rare as someone else pointed out.

Since X2 likely will not be open right off the bat during the Discover Card entry, I would say to go to YOLO, then pass X2, if its open ride that, if not, make your way up to Tatsu. After that you should go to Superman/Ninja, then down to Apocalypse, then to RIddlers, then to Green Lantern, Then to Batman, Then to Lex. There ya go! Thank you!

Hi everyone. Some questions: 1. How crowded will the park be on Wednesday May 20? 2. Am I allowed to bring snacks into the park? 3. Do they still let Discover Card holders into the park early? If so, how early? 4. If the park opens at 10:30, what time does the parking garage open? 5. Do cars with prepaid parking get past the parking garage booths faster? Thank you.

^ June 20 will probably be crowded, so you won't regret having bought a flashpass. If you have a discover card, you will be able to ride X2 before the line gets long without paying extra. Read my flashpass advice on yelp. My name is Mike K...... http://www.yelp.com/biz/six-flags-magic-mountain-valencia-3#hrid:hdnvSOI6OSif1oJpX1KJuw
