The Disney parking structure has 10,250 spaces. MM does not need one that big. It doesn't even have to fit every car at MM. It just needs to be big enough to make room for a new coaster assuming buying more real estate is out of the question. Or they could buy cheap land off site and have a tram. Or they could get rid of the human resources trailers next to Scream and replace them with a multi-story building. There's also empty land between Apocalypse and Viper that looks like their property. By the way, I was at the bus stop to the south of X2 last week. There is a sign at the west end of Magic Mountain Parkway that reads, "Magic Mountain Parkway will be extended in the future as part of the development of Newhall Ranch." Their website reads, "$300 million in transportation improvements associated with Newhall Ranch, including thirty miles of new roads and significant improvements to SR 126, Magic Mountain Pkwy., Valencia Blvd. and Commerce Center Dr."..... http://newhallranch.net/about-the-community/#villages Holy crap that is music to my ears. X2 will definitely be my first ride of the day from now on.

Here's an idea for a ride. Make the longest duration coaster in the world by making a coaster with 4 tracks that everyone rides. TC has 2 tracks that everyone rides. Make a coaster with 4 tracks that lasts longer than any other coaster in the world. Call it "Quartet" or something. All 4 tracks could intertwine like spaghetti which would make dueling amazing. Better yet, call it the never-ending pasta bowl and have Olive Garden sponsor it to save costs. Have the loading station look like a breadstick. Have a pasta kiosk nearby. Okay I just jumped the shark but I still like my idea.

They could build a multi-story parking garage like Disneyland's and use the old parking lots for new rides. Plus, the parking garage would mean much less walking. They could put it RIGHT NEXT to the ticket booths. And your car would not be 150 degrees when you went back to it. They could even put a coaster on top of the parking garage.

I see where you are coming from. To me, the point is to spend the day with my girlfriend. A ride takes only a couple minutes. That's like a bathroom break. We would rather ride Riddler 4 times in 30 minutes than stand in line for 30 minutes. Plus, I hate seeing empty seats on a ride. It's such a waste. And it is very satisfying to walk onto a ride for which other people are waiting 30 minutes. As for the Belgian couple, they are not buying a flash pass. If they do not use single rider, they may not ride every ride.

I think you meant 21st of June. The entire month of June will be crowded. Without a flash pass, you will spend hours in line and may not be able to ride every ride. You should use single rider lines whenever possible. You will not be able to ride with your girlfriend, but that is no big deal because the rides only last a couple minutes. Eat a large meal before coming to the park because the food is expensive. Travel light. Carry as few items as possible. Don't keep valuables in your pockets because they may fall out during the wild rides. I keep my credit card and car key in a money belt like this..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sport-Travel-Pouch-Bag-Hidden-Compact-Security-Money-Waist-Belt-Holder-Pocket-MG-/181735459039?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a504708df

How fast can you run a half mile? If you can't run fast, you will be at the back of the line of Twisted Colossus anyway. And it is likely that the ride will not open on time. According to the following website, tomorrow's ERT is open to ALL passholders, not just gold passholders, at 9am.... http://www.californiacoasterkings.com/important-dates/

I am getting good at what I like to call "line cutting avenging". When a group of people try to cut me to join their friends who are just ahead of me, I cut their whole group so that ALL of them are behind me. You gotta pick your targets carefully though. I don't do this if a 300-pound guy named Bubba is among their friends. Yes, Drop of Doom is my favorite ride now. The way I see it, it is a very inexpensive form of base jumping. I also thoroughly enjoy watching riders FREAK OUT on it. I laughed at a guy today and their friends noticed I was laughing. They were all cool about it. As for riddler, I planned to ride it 10 times, but I was getting nauseous after 4 rides, so I actually went back to Drop of Doom to "relax"!

Arrived this morning with my new gold membership printout in hand. The metal detectors opened at 9am. I immediately went to the annual pass office and was the only one there. With new card in hand, I walked to the gate and was 20th in line on the gold pass entry. At 9:35, I literally ran to TC. Out of about 100 people, I came in second which was an achievement for a 45-year-old old fart like myself. I learned that your position on the gold pass front gate line doesn't matter. All that matters is how fast you can run. Reminded of the old saying... if you and your buddy are being chased by a bear, you don't have to run faster than the bear. You just have to run faster than your buddy. lol. So our "9:30 ERT" turned out to be 10:10 ERT because that's when the first TC train was dispatched. I was in the second seat and I had a ball. I jogged to YOLO and rode it twice before the general admission crowd was let in and made the line too long. And to confirm, I asked if they offer single rider, and they said no. Then my Drop of Doom marathon began. I rode it about 25 times today using the single rider line. I love this ride. It is very relaxing once you learn not to fight it. Just surrender and enjoy the fall. As someone mentioned, the value of the single rider line depends on the skill of the queue manager. In the morning, I got to ride every five minutes or so, but later, I only got to ride every 10-15 minutes because Mia the queue manager kicked ass! She was a master of filling the ride without needing single riders. I witnessed a group of 4 customers being escorted by an employee to the front of the line. They each paid $300 for the VIP treatment. I asked him if it worth it. They said it definitely was. I asked if they can ride rides over and over again. They said they can only ride each ride twice in a row. In that sense, it is very similar to a platinum flash pass. I rode Riddler 4 times in a row using the single rider line. I will never use the regular line again. One of the ride workers was very talkative. He told me that people vomit on this ride on a regular basis because they don't drink enough fluids during their visit. I actually rode 2 rides in a row by running from the exit back to the single rider entrance and making it on time. The employee was smiling when he saw me do this. At 4pm, I rode TC again. The line was only 30 minutes long. A woman entered the line with me. After 20 minutes, she tried to let her kids cut the line in front of her. I don't tolerate when people do this, so before her kids showed up, I asked her if I could go in front of her. She said yes with a confused look on her face. I was laughing inside. She actually had the balls to ask a ride worker named Kevin if her kids could join her because "they just had to use the bathroom". Kevin politely refused her request. A moment later, I whispered to Kevin that she indeed lied to him and I thanked him for not letting her kids cut the line. I would had tipped him $5, but all I had was my discover card because I wanted to carry as few things as possible. I chatted with a guy who bought the season meal plan. He told me it is an amazing deal for him because he lives within walking distance of the park. He could literally get lunch, dinner, and a snack 365 days a year for just $100 per year. That's about 10 cents per meal. He says he sometimes comes to the park just to eat and then he leaves. EDIT: MM is not open 365 days a year. My bad. I drove back to the Fresno area quite tired from sprinting in the morning. I am going to use this gold membership A LOT.
