Usually when I get to the park early right when the gates swing open and they scan tickets the majority of the crowd runs to X2. I would recommend going to Tatsu first and hit up X2 last right before the park closes.

Amazing idea but if you could stand in the middle of the loop will SFMM have to put a net so that any loose articles wont injure the guests below?

Im planning to head up to the park on Sunday. Does anybody know how crowded the park will be?

Most school districts are still in and LAUSD starts spring break on April 2nd and goes till April 6th. Most of Orange County will still be in school. I do agree with the posts above but don't worry to much im sure the park wont be too crowded.

The park should be almost empty. If you went on a Saturday than it would be packed but since you are going on a Sunday the lines should be no longer than at most 30 mins for rides such as X2 and Tatsu. I say that you will get on every coaster if you arrive at opening and leave at closing.

Screamscape announced that Knotts is looking into getting a dark ride. Anybody have more information on this?

I also like that idea but when it says at a local 7-eleven does that mean a local 7-eleven around SFMM or around you because I live about 2 hours from SFMM?

I read from The Coaster Guy that Six Flags corporation is teaming up with 7-eleven. All 11 parks will get their slurpees and at 7:11 there will be exclusive ERT. Also if you bring your souvenir cup to 7-eleven retail stores than you get a refill for 99 cents. Does anyone when SFMM plans to do ERT?

I would have to say AAA because tickets online at Knotts.com are $48 and if you buy them through AAA you would get 30% off of tickets.

^^^ I went about that time last year to SFMM and it was crowded. Here were some examples, SEFK had about a 1 hour wait and X2 had about a almost 2 hour wait. Tatsu was also about 1 hour. So I would recommend getting a flash pass if you are planning to go between this time. The gold flash pass is probably going to be your best option. I believe that the regular for two people is $75.00, The gold for two people is $117.00, and The Platinum for two people is $187.00. Hope you enjoy your trip.

Glad to hear the park is being kept up. About how crowded is the park on an average Tuesday or Wednesday? I know that they probably only run one train on every ride but I was wondering how long the lines are?

I went to the park on Saturday and realized that park security wasn't checking anyone properly. I walked through the metal detectors and it went off but the guy wasn't even paying attention he just said come through and started talking to the other security guards he didn't even tell me to take out stuff and put it into the box. Later on that day it started to get cold so I left the park to go to my car and get a jacket but when I came back through security the same thing happened and it was a different employee. Also I saw teenagers walking through the exit so they wouldn't have to got through security.

Is the new manager looking to install more family friendly rides in the future or more Thrill coasters? Im going to miss the music in the boardwalk and ghostown.

Does SFMM still show the Apocalypse video while your waiting in line? Also how much is the whole LLOD going to cost?

Exactly, everyone out there who thinks the clamps are unsafe are wrong. I don't think SFMM would make a unsafe ride. Like they said at the WCB Q&A they put motion monitor machines( I forgot what they are called) on SEFKs tower and found out how much the towers sway. They also talked about how launching them at different times makes the tower sway more so maybe SFMM is going to adjust SEFKs software so that when they run both sides they will launch at a distance that provides the least amount of swaying.

First off thank you Robb and Elissa for putting this event together and thank you to Knotts and SFMM for hosting WCB 2012!!!!! I was a little disappointed that SFMM didn't offer any backstage tours this year. WCB at SFMM was still amazing because of the ERT and the park management Q&A. I am sad that I could not make it to the Knotts WCB, o well theres always next year. This WCB weekend has been amazing i cannot stress the word AMAZING as much. Once again thank you Robb and Elissa for putting WCB 2012 together.

I will also be there because it will also be MY birthday on the 25th! I don't think it will be too crowded, and I'm not planning on getting a flash pass. If you do end up getting flash passes because of crowds, I'd go with the gold because of the huge reduction in wait time. I have been monitoring the crowds of SFMM on Saturdays and the park is fairly crowded. Usually here are the wait times I see: X2 1 hour 30 mins, Tatsu 1 hour, Goliath about 50 mins, GL could be up to a 1 hour wait with all of the delays. I would recommend buying a gold flash pass because of the huge wait reductions but if that is to pricey than the regular flash pass is still worth the money. If you do not simply want to spend that kind of money go on the 26th a Sunday because the waits are extremely low. The longest wait would probably be X2 with around a 30 min wait and most of the other rides would be almost walk on. If you do choose to go on a Saturday buy the gold but if you plan on going on a Sunday don't buy any flash pass at all.

I wish GL didn't have the first trim at the top and instead of completely stopping during the midcourse break it would only slow down.

I'm planning on X2 and Tatsu after ERT. Heading out from Mission Viejo at 6:15am tomorrow! Can't wait! I am also heading out from Mission Viejo but im leaving at 5:50 A.M.

I am planning to buy a souvenir cup for tomorrow but I am wondering if when I go on the rides do I have to use the Fluffy bunnies filled with medicine and goo or can I put it off to the side?
