  1. My theory into why the opening date might be delayed is because testing has not started and there is only 10 days till opening. Even if testing starts sometime this week there is no guarantee that the testing will run smoothly. With two rides on the same structure it could have longer testing than other rides.
  2. Im happy with just about every maze on this list except Dia De Los Muertos which was a horrible maze in the past.
  3. I say LLOD will open around July 4th - July 8th. I just wish that SFMM were more like other parks in where when they give a opening date it will actually open on the given date. Manta and Carsland are examples.
  4. Revolution is a good ride itself but the OTSRs kill its glory. Does anybody know how much new trains on Revolution would cost?
  5. Possibly but I think Delirium was a better maze than Endgames last year.
  6. Could Revolution get rid of the OTSRs all together because at WCB they said that the OTSRs are needed because they hold you in properly.
  7. The announcement date could be 4th of July and the opening date could be 4th of July.
  8. When I was at SFMM during the summer in the beginning of August Colossus was running both tracks. They were not racing them but they did have both tracks running.
  9. Also at Lappert's in Las Vegas which is located inside the California Hotel & Casino, which has a Hawaiian theme. I had a crazy ride on Green Lantern over the weekend. My friend and I got put on the same ride vehicle as two tiny girls that were there for grad night with their middle school (I actually found it odd how many middle schools were there, I didn't think middle schools did grad nights) so needless to say our weight differential was pretty big. We pretty much spun through the whole ride. I don't think I've ever seen anyone spin on that first section of the track that just has a little dip, but we managed to do it. Then the ride broke down just as we got into the station and the vehicle was unable to get upright so we hung at this angle where all the weight was on our man parts waiting for the mechanic to show up. People in the loading area were actually yelling at the ride ops to help us out since we were obviously in extreme pain, but of course there's nothing they could do. Did you end up in the station upright or upside down?
  10. Have they installed the brakes yet and if so how high does the braking go up?
  11. Heading over to the park on Memorial day. Ive never been on Memorial day and was wondering how crowded the park will be?
  12. Thats a hard one but it depends on how long you stay. Im not sure how crowded grad night is but If id have to guess id say it would be similar to a Saturday. I am familiar with Saturdays however. The longest line you will probably have to wait in is two hours and every other ride will have a one hour to one hour and 30 minute wait. You could probably get by on a few coasters at a 30 minute wait. Overall both of those day are terrible to go on. If you do go on one of those days get a Gold or Platinum Flash Pass.
  13. SFMM should not be crowded on Wednesday as most schools are still in but a few school are already out. The only problem I see is that the park will be cheap and run one train on most coasters. Its hard to say but if I were to take an estimate id say the longest line you would have to wait in would be about 20 to 30 minutes. If you do end up going to the park and it is crowded or you dont feel like waiting than you could always buy the flash pass at the park. Dont worry about the flash passes selling out because they wont. I would not recommend the platinum flash pass on that day because it probably wont be worth what you paid. The regular or the gold would probably be your best bet.
  14. Its mostly personal preference. Since its your first time at the park I would recommend a moderate coaster such as Jaguar, Sierra Sidewinder, and Pony Express first. But if you are looking to ride a ride without walking all over the park and one thats not too intense that I would recommend Sierra Sidewinder which is fairly close to the entrance where when you enter the park you turn left and keep on walking until you reach Camp Snoopy. Since you are going during July it can get crowded since it is during summer. I would recommend that you arrive at the park at opening. If you find that the lines are too long than you could buy a Fast Lane pass which would get you to the front of the line on rides.
  15. SFMM is cheap and hires inexperienced workers. I have compared over the years Disneylands employees and SFMM employees and have found that SFMM does a HORRIBLE job at hiring the right employees. Disneylands employees are helpful and they know what they are doing and they give the park a good reputation as where SFMM has horrible employees that don't do their job properly and aren't very helpful.
  16. I wasted my time for this announcement. Will Knotts ever get a new ride?
  17. ^ Finally and does GL still have an enormous line now that they tamed it down?
  18. Well we can hope for the best. Ill be checking my phone every 5 minutes for the announcement!
  19. Just never got on it, every time we passed the line was long. We have both been on it a lot and neither of us had the patience for any lines today. I think we're pretty spoiled at theme parks because anything looking to be past 30 minutes on something we've already been on is just waaaay too long of a line for us. What day was this?
  20. PP is a fun ride but I have NEVER seen them run two boats and the line is always over an hour due to the fact that the loading time is horrible.
  21. Thanks for the info and im curious to know what exactly happened to Windseeker?
