We will always go back to SFMM because of their extreme rides but that doesn't meant that the GP will. If a park has gum all over the place and it smells in most places people will stop visiting the park and go to another park. The biggest issue I found other than the filthiness of the park was the heat while waiting at the top of Riddlers Revenge. It gets over 100 outside and theres a bunch of people all crammed into a small waiting thats enclosed with no air conditioning.

Sure its nice that the park ads new thrill rides but they have to focus on keeping up the park. I would rather have them not get a new ride for one year and have them remodel the bathrooms and actually empty their trash cans and have at least one bathroom attendant in the bathroom at all times to ensure that the bathrooms are clean. I went to the park about a month ago and was washing my hands and the pipe underneath the sink was cracked and all of the water was running out onto the ground almost splashing on my shoes. Later on that day I went to another bathroom and it was FLOODED and there was no one cleaning it up or closing the bathroom.

The park full of things that are worn down or rotting away like the monorail tracks, old structures that are no longer used that are falling apart in plain sight, inefficient ride operations (One train ops, not allowing Green Lantern to flip), nasty restrooms and bees surrounding trash...I know there's some stuff I'm still forgetting. Although I love the rides there at SFMM, I can't help but feel like it's just a run-down carnival. It's one of the major coaster parks of the country, but their management there gives me the impression that they don't feel like it is. While adding Lex Luthor and Full Throttle will be nice, I just would like to see them take a brake from adding new rides and just focus on fixing up the park and making it look nice again. While they're at it, improved operations would be nice as well. After seeing that survey question on Screamscape about Full Throttle going backwards, I am hoping and praying that it will NOT be a shuttle coaster that goes backwards on the same track. If it is, the capacity will be AWFUL. Those are the exact reasons that I stopped visiting SFMM as much. Especially when they removed Log Jammer because during the summer it usually gets over 100 and the lines for every water ride are extremely long especially Roaring Rapids. When will we see SFMM being as clean as Knotts?

I'm not a tree-hugger by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm all for recycling and saving energy. But seriously, with a 260 acre theme park, dozens of rides rides requiring lubricants (that might wash away in the rain), the constant painting of rides/buildings, hundreds (thousands on busy days?) of cars coming and going when they are open, hundreds to thousands of guests when they are open, and the simple fact that SFMM 'exists', what do these environmentalists expect? This, my friends, is why SO many businesses are leaving CA. It's one thing to care about the environment, but it's another to sue/regulate/tax businesses out of existence. Exactly im also not a tree hugger but I do recycle, but anyways that is one of the main reasons I hate California so much. Exactly what you mentioned this is why businesses are moving out of California and moving into other states. Especially because of the high taxes in California. I recently looked it up and California is the 48th most business friendly state in the nation almost ranking dead last in front of New york and New Jersey.

I also went to the park on Sunday and noticed that on one of the towers for supreme scream they had those "water dummies" on them. Ghostrider was extremely rough and every ride was running one train except for Ghostrider and Pony Express. Windseeker and Riptide were down. I saw two tpr members there with WCB shirts.

Went to the park on Saturday and waited forever in line. It wasn't that the park was Packed but more of the factor that every coaster was running one train except for Ghostrider and I didn't get to ride Jaguar do to the long line but I think they were running two trains. Windseeker and Pony Express were closed for the whole day. The line for Ghostrider was about 80 minutes and the line for Xcelerator was about 40 minutes due to one train operations on Xcelerator. Sierra Sidewinder had over an hour wait also due to one train operations. Silver Bullet had a 65 minute wait also due to one train operations. But overall it was a good day.
