Because Six Flags already has enough parks with the word "great" in them! Why does everybody think that New York City is the capitol of New York state?

^That pretty much sums up Ride of Steel now a days!

^It's no longer themed around Superman with him, so what's Ride of Steel's theme now, "Steel City"?

I guess there's nothing wrong with Six Flags owning a park that they own that doesn't have anything relating to Six Flags, not even the name.

I blame myself and a few others for being banned from the chat room on TPR!

Granted, but they're all clones of Maverick with said name! I wish that Terry Pegula was buy Darien Lake!

Maybe Burkhalter was secretly planing to start a World War 3 after World War 2. How come Darien Lake's kiddie coaster (Hoot 'n Holler) is just for kids?

^No it would have been "Six Flags Great Escape" or "Six Flags New York" if it was flagged.

Or maybe Six Flags didn't want another flagged park beginning with the word "Great"!

Maybe when Six Flags first bought the park they were originally going to have it flagged, but for some reason they've decided not to.

Getting rid of the Superman logo on Ride of Steel jut isn't enough, it's like when Six Flags got rid of Tony Hawk from the "Big Spin" coasters and renamed them "Pandemonium". The ride needs a new name/theme and paint job for people to think of it less like Superman.

With all this talk about Darien Lake possibly getting a new owner, I wonder if Terry Pegula would repaint Ride of Steel to blue and gold? P.S. Ride of Steel really needs a new paint job regardless of ownership anyways!
