  1. I have seen the show last saturday and I have to say: big improvement! On par with Vegas as far as I'm concerned: a bit smaller, but the colours in the evening make up for it.......breathtaking! Bravo Efteling! Paul
  2. Great trip report guys! Can't wait to go to Mirabilandia for the first time next september.......... Paul
  3. Every ride operates at the same time the park does, 10.00 till 18.00 are the normal hours on a friday. It's strongly depends on the weather(more or less people in the park) but i guess lines are max 20 minutes for the bigger rides(aka George & the Dragon ) Paul
  4. Hi, About visiting which park on which day the answer is simple: Efteling on friday and Walibi on saturday. The Efteling has way more visitors on a saturday compared to a friday so..... Never heard of "Bee&Bee" but after looking at it it seems ok, the price is good and it's really close to the entrance of the Efteling, maybe a 5-10 min. walk Paul
  5. Hi, I have to agree with you after seeing the show yesterday evening. With daylight aquanura is nice but in the dark(almost dark yesterday) its 10 times better because of the great colours the show produces. Also the middle part with music from Raveleijn and the end (Dance Macabre) are by far the best parts. It is a great addition to the park but is it worth paying 17 million for it.....hmmmm. Paul
  6. Beautiful job, efteling! Great addition to the park. Dare i say it??...... Vegas: eat your heart out! Paul P.s. I've seen the bellagioshow a lot of times in person so yes, i can compare them.
  7. My home park, photographed in a fantastic way....... Thanks for showing everybody how beautiful The Efteling is. Paul
  8. Hi Hanno, I hate this ride, but I love this picture Paul
  9. Hi, Just returned from a 3 day trip to Europapark. My thoughts on Wodan: the placing is beautiful between atlantica supersplash and Blue fire. Beautiful theming on the outside with the building and the gate. The waitingline is also fantastic. Had plenty of time to admire it (between 40 and 70 minutes last monday/tuesday). The ride itself is........ok. The first drop is great, especially going through the tunnel gives a real feeling of good speed. The second 'drop' with the second tunnel is the best part for me. Really speeding through the tunnel and the extreme banking just before the fly-through.......loved it. The camelback just after the fly-through was the big disappointment for me. It really kills the speed at that moment and after that hill it's just...... over with all the fun. From there on it's just an average ride till you hit the brakes. Comparing it to the other CGI coasters I've ridden it's my least favorite, together with Gwazi(BGT). It doesn't mean that I don't like them, but they aren't great in my opinion. Troy(Toverland) is just a little bit better for me, and I'm sorry but.......George and the dragon(Efteling)is still my CGI number 1. It isn't that fast or high, but it's just a lot more fun to ride compared to Wodan. Summarized: fantastic coaster to look at and wait in line for, and a good ride.......until you arrive at the camelback..... Paul
  10. Going to europapark the 7th and 8th of may. It seems that my "better weather' prayers are working.... MvrGr. Paul
  11. Hi, About the press and being unreliable........I think thats a global 'thing' . I still have to wait a little over 2 months to ride Wodan........wish it was the 7th of may already. Paul
  12. The Efteling - 10 minutes. Phantasialand - 2 hours. Europapark - about 5 hours, depending on traffic Paul
  13. Hi guys, Thanks for the photo's Every year we go to Europapark at least 2/3 days and for us it is by far the best park in Europe. And for someone like me to say that who lives about 5 minutes away from the Efteling (and worked there for several years) that's something........ Thanks again, Paul
  14. Hi, Thanks for the pictures, but ehhh..... "Rembrandt's Mona Lisa"??........never saw that one, only the one painted by Da Vinci Paul
