  1. Frostbite.bmp Put on your coat or you'll catch a case of Frostbite
  2. Thanks for all the comments guys! CC9- The trains go with the theme which will be released with the park. Dinn- Your correct their is a small drop. The invert isn't huge so the pacing isn't too fast during the inline. Revolution X.bmp Prepare to be Revolutionized! Revolution was originally built in 1976 in celebration of the Bi-Centennial. It was put in the station of an old Scenic Railroad which was already falling apart and in need of rehab, so in 1981 the park demolished the station and gave it a new modern theme of Revolution: X.
  3. Reached 100 years in game at about 80%. SCR149.BMP Anyone willing to help with a lot of foliage? Savagery.bmp "Fancy thinking the Beast was something you could hunt and kill."
  4. ^Agreed It's almost too similar to your last park, still good though.
  5. Hello All, The name is Martin Dale, entrepreneur and buisness man, but also a person with a dream. A dream that I will finally be able to achieve. As a child, I always enjoyed amusement parks and visited many. My favorite park was Coney Island and my favorite coaster was The Beast at KI. I grew up with the dream of building my own park and being able to choose the rides I put into it. The next thing you know I was in college, got a job, started a family, and now I have a beautiful wife and two kids. Anyways back to my point, the last few years have been good to me and I have saved up a hefty amount of cash. I've decided to follow my dream of building and owning an amusement park. Now you might ask, what about you wife and kids? Well the answer to that is, they're all for it. My wife is amazing and will follow me through anything and my son, a member of the site, is an avid rollercoaster enthusiast and was estatic to hear about my desicion. I'm not quite an expert at this stuff so I asked my son for help and he said I should bring the situation to TPR, so here it goes. Having grown up in southern IL, it has always been a special place in my heart and when I came back this winter to visit family I noticed a large plot of farm land was up for sale. I couldn't possibly let the opportunity pass and over the next few months I discussed it with my wife and she allowed me to acquire the land. She is also from southern IL and had wanted to move back near her family. We bought the property and now I'm here, were currently staying with our family but are planning to build a house on the land. So here is the situation I have 75,000 dollars to start up the park, what should I build in it? We have a budget of $50,000 for the first year. Any Ideas? What are the essentials of a park? Here is a photo of the front of the lot. Easy Beginnings.bmp Easy Beginnings Entrance.bmp Someday Parents and Children will walk through these gates.
  6. Lets Go! K&M, send out a pm and we'll get started.
  7. ^Like he said, add some shrubs underneath the ride just so it isn't so bare.
  8. I call tdub96 You better get ready buddy, Team sfgamguy (can't remember our team name) is coming back for a second victory!
  9. wow, your really improving alot, this seems like something out of ancient rome or assassin's creed. I really like what I see, the only thing that sticks out is the drop tower maybe change the colors.
  10. Psi- That's alright, any suggestion on how it could improve? and flowers have been added and the que cover was switched to black. RCT2day- Thanks, I choose the two rooves to give it a less boring 1-slope roof, and there are supports on the other side. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cars.bmp just a small screen X-flight Layout RCT2.bmp
  11. I have two 85ft. Intamin Woodies for you. First is T-Bolt or whatever you want to call it, It's a late 90's Intamin, based on White Cyclone. Pictures:SCR150.BMPSCR151.BMPSCR152.BMPStatsT-Bolt Stats.bmp Next is Mini-Toro, which is basically what I could with 85ft. and a plug-n-play. Pictures:SCR154.BMPSCR157.BMP Stats:Mini Toro Stats.bmp Both are filled with airtime and if you want to see them in game just PM me.
  12. I'd be happy to Coupon, I'd have to build it small though I like the screen, very blue, but the path covers seem a little awkward and they look to big for the orange poles holding them up.
  13. ^Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Portsmouth.bmp A little spotlight on Portsmouth here. Back in the hay-day of the park this little corner was always crowded, featuring the classic 1928-woodie, Comet, and the famous 1929, Ameri-Go-Round-Carousel, it was a hit with the crowd, but now in 1984 even after the addition of White Water Rapids, guests don't seem to venture to the back of the park anymore.
  14. How would I raise the vehicle up to be above the water?
  15. Not quite, but your pretty dang close ------------------------------------------------------------ Happy 1 Year Anniversary To Me! In honor of this occasion I uploaded my first, three "serious" parks to the game exchange. These three parks were all highly inspired by TPR member's parks that I would view before I created an account and joined the community. Two were built before joining and one was the first park I built while a member of the site. http://www.themeparkreview.com/game_exchange/track.php?id=2464 http://themeparkreview.com/game_exchange/track.php?id=2465 http://themeparkreview.com/game_exchange/track.php?id=2466 Check 'em out to see some bad NCS Gurnee Garden in Game Exchange This my first timeline park and also includes the wooden coaster which was in the first picture I ever posted on TPR
  16. Funkeymon: Theres a chance that Portsmouth will continue but at the moment it's on hold. I realize my NCS isn't great but its a fun way to be creative and when I was building the megalite I viewed it like this, it would be B&M's prototype for this kind of ride and they would really be pushing the envelope. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Matedor.bmp construction has begun.
  17. I love the first and second screen, perfect. The third one is just a little small but, it looks like cool ride interaction.
  18. This thread will serve as a place to show my many unfinished projects. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First up is Portsmouth Park, I started Portsmouth at the start of Summer Break in hopes of finishing a park over the summer. Portsmouth quickly grew and grew and all of the sudden school came around and I wasn't finished. I have completely stopped working on this at the moment and I'm not sure if I will continue. Overview.bmp Here's the Overview. Portsmouth is a timeline park that would have gone up to 1984. Next up I have a little B&M megalite prototype. The layout is finished and I'm just trying to figure out the right setting for it. SCR143.BMP Then finally for this update we have a NCS Cedar Fair park that I've been working on. (WARNING: I'm not a NCS person) Renegade.bmp The parks newest woodie, Renegade. BBOBH.bmp Boo Blaster on Boo Hill Behemoth.bmp Sexy Curves, Guess the coaster?
  19. Very nice, but it's so tiny. I like the logo.
  20. It's a Hyper. I sent it over, thanks for the offer.
  21. splashdown.bmp Be careful when in the mist zone. If anyones willing I could use some huts made invisible.
  22. unfinished.bmp Ahh don't you just love the smell of fresh unfinishedness this time of year?
  23. Went to Fright Fest today and I had a good time. The park was the most crowded I've seen it in a while, we didn't even get on a rollercoaster and only got on a few flats including Terror Twister, which was amazing. The park looked nice and definently better than last year, but I wouldn't say it's any scarier this year. The entire X-Flight area is all torn up and fenced off, you can see it from all around the area, I never realized how close it will be to the Demon. Iron Wolf is missing its loop and everything from the drop into the corkscrew and on. All in all it was a good night and will be coming back next weekend.
  24. There is your answer, few people were still interested enough to continue it.
  25. So glad I live less than 5 minutes away from the park right now! I'm super pumped about this and the layout looks cool, little short though. Not to sure about the name though?
