Still think it's a coaster. One woman made a loop with her finger, and another made a dip with her arm like a coaster drop. I think all the JL characters have been a big red herring so people think it's the dark ride. Think it's Joker-themed.

Guys, lorem ipsem is just dummy copy text (in Latin) put in place until the offical text is created. It is used in printing and typesetting all the time. There likely is no clue in there, as it is usually just a bunch of nonsense sentences.

^Goliath has slow ops, a lot of it because they don't let riders pull down their own lap bars after buckling the belt, so it takes over twice as long as other coasters at the park. Sounds like it was extra slow for you though. That is horrible to stack that long.

^ That's exactly what my 6-year-old son just said when I asked him if he remembered the loop, so I guess we did experience it! Funny the youngen remembered it so well (though he loves the superhero stuff). We only rode it once, and it was over two months ago, so I guess the rest of us had forgotten about it.

So they say, and it was oh so thrilling that I do not remember it at all after riding it this summer. I had to look it up online earlier today to confirm it was even on the ride. Were you paying attention? Right before the loop there's an audio cue that announces the loop, just so you don't miss that they have a loop. Yes, I was paying attention, thanks. Did you ever consider that audio cue was broken since the ride had major issues all summer? My wife does not remember it, nor do my two teenage daughters.

I see at least two more clear clothoid loops in the purple spraypaint, at separate spots. I continue to wonder if it is some inverting ride (coaster?), not the dark ride. None of these clues screams dark ride aside from some possible Justice League clues, but they could theme any ride to that.

I am seeing a lot of 3-loop formations in this teaser too. I would love to figure out what all the purple spraypaint is on the wall. There may be a huge clue there.

Having ridden it at SFSTl, I think it would be a great addition. The two concerns I have are the capacity and the reliability.

Screamscape announced several days back that SFFT is planning to get rid of one of its major rides, but did not name the ride, saying it is only near the boardwalk, so that is where it started. I just don't see our park taking on a 16-year-old coaster. We tend to be leaders in getting trendy new rides, not accepting old ones. I also still don't think Poltergeist would fit neatly in the SWA spot, with Demon and Raging Bull so close to it, even with the Photoshop job showing it there.

This is great! Thanks for all the advice, everybody! Unfortunately, one of the my friends that was going had his father go into the hospital today, and his passing may be imminent this week. So he's not going to be able to go, and we are postponing the tripas a result. At this point, if we go this year, it will likely be a Sunday in October. So, here's hoping something along those lines works out! Are Sundays during fright nights pretty busy? Thanks again for the advice! If you are going on a Sunday, try your best to be there when the park opens, because you can have a couple nice hours of getting on rides quickly before it gets really busy. Many people go to church on Sunday mornings.

Hard to say. Lightning will close rides for awhile, of course, but if it's scattered, it will be hit or miss. They are pretty good about getting rides going again ASAP after a storm in my experience. Rain forecasts can scare away people sometimes, so if it did not rain much or at all, it could work to your benefit. I will say that five days out, a weather forecast can change a lot. You will have a better idea of the forecast on Monday or Tuesday, if you can make a decision that last minute. Currently I am seeing a 40% chance of storms that day. You will just need to make an informed decision. We typically have lucked out with out of town parks with storms in the forecast, just getting one storm the day we were there--it's just pretty common with the heat of summer. Thanks for the feedback! I think we're going to do that: just wait for Monday, and decide then whether we're going to come out now, or postpone the trip. BTW, what are crowds life for Fright Nights at GAm? I know Holloweekends at Cedar Point often get quite unwieldy! If the weather is warm Fright Fest is very busy, and you don't have Hurricane Harbor open to ease the crowds on rides. Sundays are a little better than Saturdays, especially in the morning.

I found the Os a little strange as well, but my bets are still on JL: BFM. If it really is, it surprises me that Six Flags would install more of these considering that the St Louis model is still ironing out issues. But from what I've heard the Texas model has had a lot less downtime. I'm sure that the issues will all be resolved by next season though. The folks at Sally are really good with adjustments and fine tuning. The Os are very much Joker style writing except for those weird lines at the bottom. I had been predicting JL: BFM for our park all year, and even earlier tonight, with the first clue, but now I am keeping an open mind after this video. ^That is a good catch. I think we may be very surprised.

The search light screams Batman, and the purple hints at Joker, so today's' clues point to Justice League. Do the Os at the end in the "Coming Soon" text look like coaster loops to anyone else? Took me four views to think of that, but found it interesting,

Nooo!! Say it ain't so! I hate that practice! Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Just tell the grouper you really want the back row and maybe they will let you.

I have always been a back seat guy over front, but I have heard Goliath is better in the back from others. I have ridden it in the very back seat and it was awesome, but not the front. The first drop is amazing in the back.

Guess breaking the 3 records was paramount, but I too have wondered what could have been done in that fairly compact space with a smaller first drop. It is definitely the best or at least in the top few rides at the park though.

It is a great ride and I am sure you will enjoy it. That zero G stall is an amazing element and my favorite part of the ride.

Tornado passed just south of the park tonight. A lot of damage along the path. Have not heard of any at the park. Hope everyone who was at the park or nearby is okay. Our sirens went off, as it passed just south of us.

That would have been the worst decision the park ever made. So glad they kept Whizzer, even at the expense of Shockwave.

Just got an email from Six Flags today stating selfie sticks are prohibited in all parks. Guests will have to keep them in their cars.

The Starflyer swings at SF parks have proven to be reliable--more reliable than Cedar Fair's Windseeker version--and do you really think the rides are not safe just because the seats are supported by chains? They are very safe.
