  1. You are so right Elissa. Everytime I go to a fair, I say I'm not going to buy a cheese steak, but the smell over power my senses! I get one and then good-bye stomach!
  2. Last pics: Good-bye Florida State Fair, till next year! We had a great time! Love the lights! The Magnium PI ride rocked! Check out the hot Tom Selleck Background! The spinning mouse, didn't spin.
  3. Even mo' pics! Time for more food! Except when it is a 1000 degrees below 0! The Wave Swinger is always nice.
  4. Mo' pics! I used to love the super Hymilaya when I was kid. Not so much now that I am older. The bruise on my leg is proof that I sat on the outside. Again, love the fair at night! We both love the hang glider type ride. Very relaxing.
  5. So I decided to hit the fair a second time last night. I was off from work, it was the last night of the fair & I felt I didn't get the whole fair food "experience" on my last visit. The food was great last night, not so much today. (But I guess that is half th fun, of the fair!) One of my good friends, Olivia joined me and we had an absolute blast! It was a all you can ride armband day for $25. We rode all the rides. But we froze our asses off! It was in the mid to high 40's last night! I know for most that is not cold, but for us Floridians that is freaking freezing! Onto the pics! And yes, Elissa, there are food pictures! Enjoy! I can still taste this today. Can't come to the fair without having a Philly Cheese Steak! Olivia's all about the gyros. Once inside the gate, had to grab a yummy corn dog.
  6. ^ Since it was a Monday night and not a all-you-can ride armband day, the place was pretty empty. Most of the time we were the only ones on the rides.
  7. Thanks everyone for the kind words. ^Mike, its good to hear from you. Hopefully you're not freezing to death in the artic north!
  8. ^ Sorry, Elissa I didn't take any food pictures, (please don't reach through your computer screen and kill me!) I didn't have too much to eat, (I had a late lunch). I did have a slice of greesy pizza, fresh sugary lemonaide and a very yum-o freshly baked hot pecan-cinnamon roll.
  9. mo' pics' One my favorite rides from the UK trip: Samurai/Bling from Thorpe Park/Blackpool. Thanks for checking out my TR!
  10. More pics: The views from one of the ferris wheels was awesome! Ray is way too happy! The only way to go to a fair is at night! Best ride of the night! The Madonna Ride!
  11. Tonight I visited the Florida State Fair in the always beautiful Trampa with my friend Ray. I hadn't been in 5 years, so I thought I would check out all the fun. We hit a lot of the rides. The midway was pretty big. They had 2 compact wild cat- type coasters, a spinning wild mouse, flume ride, and duplicates of a lot of the same rides: 2 zippers, 4 music expresses, 4 ferris wheels, etc... Since it was a Monday, the fair was pretty empty. Onto the pics, enjoy! Help! He liked the funhouse until he almost got stuck in the enclosed slide. Ray thought the funhouse was, um..FUN! The sky was fantastic tonight! 1 of the 3 larger credits, The Cyclone. Ray's going to map out our plan of attack!
  12. Great photos Cameron. I miss snow!

  14. It's hard for me to pick, but my top three were: Like A Prayer, her first real mature work. I absolutly love the songs Spanish Eyes, Like A Prayer, Love Song, and Oh Father from that album. Ray of Light, because it is so soothing and it's got all the fun trippy sounds. And the gorgeous song Frozen is on there. And finally I picked The Immaculate Collection, a collection of M's 80's classics, enough said!

  16. Update: If you couldn't go to the Madonna show this summer, then be sure to to checkout the concert on NBC this Wed. Nov. 22nd. from 8-10pm. The show was taped during one of her many London performances last August. I promise you'll be grooving during the entire 2-hour event!
  17. The second half of "The Ultimate" at Lightwater Valley. Should be renamed the The Ultimate Ride of Pain!
  18. My home park is Busch Gardens Africa, so I would have to vote for Montu!
  19. 60/100 ...and I thought I knew a lot about coasters.
  20. So that concludes my Epcot trip report. This was a great finish to my Fall Florida theme park marathon. This Fall was so much fun and pretty crazy! From visiting Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens twice, once with with my local friends & once with the TPR group. The "TPR Road Rules/Real World" meet ups at Halloween Horror Nights, Islands of Adventure, Ohana's, and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I had a blast with all of you guys! Visits to Sea World, Adventure Island, Wet n' Wild, Animal Kingdom, Epcot & Busch Gardens with my TPR UK trip buddy, Chuck during the TPR Road Rules Adventure was a lot of fun! Visiting The Magic Kingdom and Sea World with my best friends and their 2-year old, Adrian was absolutly amazing and will always be memorable. And reconnecting with my fellow TPR UK memebers, Tommy and James at Animal Kingdom & Epcot in Sept. and most recently Ted and Catrina at Busch Gardens. I had fun with all of you guys. Can't wait to do it again soon! If anyone is down in the central Florida area and ever wants to meet up give me a buzz! Thanks for reading!
  21. More Pics: Kevin and I on the way out. Can't wait for next year's event! Love nighttime! Epcot at night is always beautiful. Chris enjoying more food in the World Showcase. Kevin is always entertained with the fiber optics in the Inoventions plaza area. So once it got dark, it got down to the low 60's which is ice cold for this Floridian! So I broke down and bought a long sleeve WDW sweatshirt. Kevin isn't to happy that were going to ride the non-spinning version, but afterwards he still loved the ride. Kevin is already for his flight to Mars on Mission Space.
  22. Yesterday, Kevin, myself and our friend Chris took our annual trip to Epcot for the International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. This was my second time visiting the Festival this year, first time was with Chuck (cfc) during our "TPR Road Rules" adventure. When Chuck and I went, we only had time to visit a couple of the booths. On this visit, the three of us made a few laps and ate our way around the Wolrd Showcase. Along with the eating and drinking we took in a few rides on Soarin', the new guidless Living with the Land, & The Seas with Nemo and Friends. The Seas was new to both Kevin and Chris. They both loved it. I have to admit, this is such a cute upgrade to the pavillion. We also checked out something new to all of us, Turtle Talk with Crush. Everytime I go there is always a super long line and I avoid it. This time there was about a 15 minute wait so we did it. This was super cool and very clever. The kids and parents were all amazed. This was a big thumbs up! Now onto the pics: Enjoy! Chris and Kevin love wine, I'm not to much of a wine drinker. But I sure do love my girlie-foo-foo drinks from the United Kingdom pub. This gave me a pretty good buzz before riding Sorin'. Epcot has got to be Kevin and my favorite theme park. Always something to do and see, we always have a good time. Kevin and I couldn't come to Epcot without having egg rolls from China, they rock! The exhibit featured a small replica of the imense Earthware soldiers from the mausoleum of the first emperor of Quin, Lintong Shaanxi during the the Qin dnasty. The new Chinese exhbit was very cool. Kevin and Chris enjoying some bites from our first few stops. After a few rides, it was time for the reason why the three of us came to Epcot - To eat and drink! The Seas with Nemo and Friends was a big thumbs up from all three of us! Kevin and I love this place! (ok, this picture got out of place, this was from on the tram into the park). Kevin and Chris were able to get really close to Spacship Earth!
  23. May: Possible trip to Lake Winnie Late May/Early June: Busch Gardens Europe/Water County USA/Kings Dominon. August: TPR Midwest Trip with possible side trips before or after to Kennywood. And a possible side trip before or after to Worlds Of Fun. Late September: Dollywood October: All the Florida Halloween Events. And of course visiting all my local central Florida parks. If anyone wants to meet up for any of the above trips or park visits give me buzz or pm.
  24. I forgot to point out something that everyone probally already knows, 85% of Congo is now walled off. Even the Congo River Rapids was closed, but I think that is just for seasonal maintance. No more white tigers for a long time. I'm sure whatever they do in that area will be very cool. Also it was mentioned on the train ride that the Sky Ride will be closed until January, because of construction in Narobi. I think it is because of the animal habitat by the Narobi train station.
  25. Current coaster count: 154 # of new coasters ridden for me: 68 # of new for 2006 coasters ridden: 6 Park visits: 50 Different parks visited: 26 New to me parks: 15 Park visited the most: 1st: Busch Gardens Africa, 9 visits 2nd: Epcot & Adventure Island (tie) 5 visits each 3rd: Disney's Animal Kingdom 4 visits Wood coaster ridden the most: Guazi (Busch Gardens Africa) Steel coaster ridden the most: (Tie) Dragon's Fury (Chessington World of Adventure) Nemesis Inferno (Thorpe Park) Eversest (Disney's Animal Kingdom) Goliath (Six Flags Magic Mountain) Stand-out memorable experiences: Winter: Riding Everest during the Passholder's Preview. Summer: TPR UK trip (too many memories!); My crazy work party at IOA. Seeing a bunch of shows and concerts including Madonna in Miami. Relaxing and cooling off at Adventure Island. Fall: Meeting up with fellow UK trip participants: Tommy & James at Disney. Chuck and my 10 parks in 4 days fall trip. The kick-a$$ VIP tour at HHN.
