  1. ^ Raspusha; Shes so sassy! Would you rather ride Flight Deck at CW with concrete restraints or Behemoth with sharp spikes glued to the underside of the lapbar?
  2. ^^ Your teacher would make me wanna punch him/her in the throat....
  3. ^^ You took a great opportunity like that to... to make people say funny things?! You could have used that opportunity to ride the 500 foot intamin launched inverted wooden stand-up floorless hyper looper! How dare you waste that opportunity! /semi-sarcasm
  4. ^ I don't know, but it sure seems like it...
  5. I've never experienced this before, however I would LOVE to try it. I'll try that method tonight; I'll report back here with my results. I'm kind of excited now!
  6. Tips: Look at pictures of how real Intamin Hypers and Mega-Lites are supported. Then build off that.
  7. New coaster looks cool! What are those Custom Scenery you use for the buildings? Those are simply amazing.
  8. I already apply enough rosin, but the angle thing will help my tone out a bunch.
  9. ^ Yeah, it did help a bit. Thanks for the tip
  10. ^ Never thought of it like that. It makes a good point.
  11. ^ I'm not sure that would help... I think it just may be the Viola I'm on, I'm still renting and it's not exactly a high-quality viola...
  12. I've played viola for 6 years, I can play violin pretty well after I learned the clef. I'm not too insanely good (never taken private lessons) and I'm still kinda rusty, considering last year I hated my teacher and didn't have the motivation to practice at home... Currently I'm trying to get my vibrato sounding nice on all the notes, right now it only works right on a few I love to play Pachebel's Canon, and the difficult song I can play decently is Meditation from Thais, I love it so much, I just hate the friggen 7th position high D that comes at the end. It doesn't matter if my tuner says its perfect, it just doesn't sound right
  13. Wow, that was actually pretty good! Better than my first Newton'd coaster. Only problem was that most of the ride wasn't supported
  14. Can this be used for cell phones too? Me: "My slide keeps dropping calls" (Later fixed) Mom: "All those websites you went on gave you gave you a virus!" Me: "Why would anyone put a virus on my phone?" Mom: "They want to steal your minutes!"
  15. Oh, I feel stupid. I knew they had a BTR, I didn't know it was blue.
  16. ^ At risk of sounding stupid, what is that Blue coaster in the second picture?
  17. That sounds incredibly fun! Now that I have an Android-powered phone, I could try this! New activity for Monday when my friends come over!
  18. ^Oops, my bad. I'll get that changed. I was also hoping for some more, but overall I think it was pretty successful. And if you start a contest, I'll definitely join
  19. The results are in! Choosing the winner between these 3 was a bit tough. They were all great coasters, but 1 really stood out against the others. First Place: The Savage-gci2011. Score Breakdown: Technical: 9/10 Technique/Creativity: 8.5/10 Thrill Factor: 10/10 Total: 9.1 Second Place: Rocket Rodder-Meteor Breakdown: Technical: 6/10 Technique/Creativity: 9/10 Thrill Factor: 8/10 Total: 8.3 Third Place: Wild-inflameswetrust21 Breakdown: Technical: 7/10 Technique/Creativity: 7/10 Thrill Factor: 6/10 Total: 6.3 Breakdown explanations/comments: Meteor–Rocket Rodder Technical: The track was fairly good technically, however there were a few pumpy spots that could have been ironed out. There was a few lateral spikes. 6/10 Techinque/Creativity: I really liked the steep first drop and the twisty bits. Very nice. However, I could have seen the layout more spread out and less compact. 9/10 Thrill Factor: This ride kept my heart pumping the whole time! The twisty bits were like I-305 and awesome! It was a great mix of airtime and twisties. 8/10 Wild-inflameswetrust21 Technical: The track was good technically, There was 1 red lateral spike, which would be painful. Or deadly. I didn't see many pumps. The lift was little steep, and the upward brakes are something I've never seen on a woodie. 7/10 Technique/Creativity: The overbanks were cool, and the steep first drop was fun. However, all the braking near the end was really odd. 7/10 Thrill Factor: The first half was nice, however the train really did seem to crawl over the hills, providing little airtime. After the first brake run, the ride got really slow and uninteresting. 6/10 The Savage–Gci2011 Technical: Not much wrong here! The ride had little to no pumps and the supports were phenomenal. However, there were a few lateral spikes on the Helixes. 9/10 Technique/Creativity: The helices were quite cool, I liked them. The steepish drop was great! The double down was nice as well. 8.5/10 Thrill Factor: This coaster was relentless! The speed just would not let up! It was a constant airtime filled speed machine. Wonderful. 10/10 Thanks to all that participated, I really had fun hosting a contest, and I hope to do another in the future! If you have any ideas for a future contest, don't hesitate to send me a PM!
  20. ^ZacSpin coaster would be AWESOME! Arrow suspended would also be awesome.
  21. ^ I know... They are all very good! Keep a look out for the results later today!
  22. Alright, after an incredibly busy week at school, (my schedule was basically: School-Extra-curricular activity-get home-Eat-homework-sleep) I'll begin to finish the judging.
  23. Quoted for absolute truth.
  24. ^^ I'm saying if someone wanted to they could get out pretty easily... ^ I don't know, I just assume they were Arrow trains.
  25. ^Have you seen pics of the Arrow Stand-up trains? They looked throughly dangerous.
