The only slide I find thrilling is the family raft slide. But it's only if you ride with a group where you are almost at the max weight allowed. -

Cedar Point has 2 campgrounds on their property, but if you can't go there, I would recommend Crystal Rock Campground. It has a lot of trees around it and it's not really close to any major road. There's a lot of bugs out at night, even in the showers, so that will be dirty in the morning. The wifi is bad, due to the trees. Piece of advice for you. When you recommend something you should include reasons as to why you should stay there, for example 'Since its not close to any major roads its very secluded and very quiet'. The reasons you stated made it sound like somewhere I would rather avoid then look into. Also Cedar Point removed their Camper Village last off season for more cabins the only thing available at the park camping wise are concrete slabs for RVs/ campers. I know there is a KOA along Cleveland Road not far from CP and I remember one camp site down by the Turnpike on RT 250 I forget the name. -

Most things little kids say on the internet make me want to drink; from their grammar, their wtf ideas, to their incomprehensible posts, I feel like i need a 5th of Captin to understand them. -

Is this fact (like there is proof this actually took place) or is it some idea of what had happened behind closed doors AKA a rumor? -

Mayflies have been over since late June/ Early July. Muffle heads (smaller/ messier )are the ones that have swarms throughout the summer season typically ending around late September when temperatures drop. -

Most of the time this happens when the older tree is infected with some type of invasive species or virus that can kill the tree making the tree more likely to fall or have branches fall, and so the park tries to avoid a potential lawsuit if a tree or branch injuries someone walking by. Another reason may be that the roots of the older tree are too close to a foundation or underground utilities. And the park may take those trees out to avoid costly repairs to those.

Expect to wait at least 1.5 hrs w/o a mechanical or weather related downtime. Launch coaster are not the greatest when it comes to up time. (For example Lighting Rod, Intamin launched rides, Ring Racer, etc..). But any type of search you would find that out. That question is as annoying as when people ask what are the lines going to be like on blah blah day and what should I do. 1 We can't predict the future. 2. Search the forms I'm sure your questions about the park have been answered somewhere on here. It's not hard to use Google to help find it. And 3. Don't get upset when someone uses sarcasm to answer your questions. It's just some words on the Internet. -

Mean Streak has opened on time every season besides this one. It closed early in 2010 and 2011 both bc they wanted to do extensive track work on the ride. The fire was from them doing said track work and it just looked like it closed early for the fire bc it happend the Monday or Tuesday after we closed for good the prior Sunday. I was on the crew trust me lol -

I find enthusiast that feel the need to correct someone in line that is saying some wrong fact or tidbit. It's embarrassing and rude IMO. I'm pretty sure the fact that you correct them on, they will forget the moment they get of the ride or leave the park. It's not hard to mind your own business and just look at TPR on your Phone or what ever you do while in line for a ride. I'm also not a fan of Enthusiast that push people out of the way to grab a single rider seat or enthusiast that think they know the best way to operate a ride and try to correct a ride host that has been trained to operate the ride. End rant.

I know that TTD (and I am about 99% sure Maverick is the same way) does not "test" for rollbacks during pre-opening procedures. Sometimes rollbacks happen during testing, and sometimes they don't... but they do not purposely test for a rollback. There is no real way to test for a rollback aside from e-stopping the train mid launch Maverick does test rollbacks on the lift hill during block testing. If a train has not entered the launch block in tunnel as the train reaches the top of the hill it will rollback . However they do not test rollbacks of the launch, it simply wont launch if the first brake run is not clear of the previous train. You are correct about Dragster. -
