  1. I'll be at SFOT tonight from 4-7 for pics and tricks or rides. If anyone's going, PM me.
  2. ^ Good point. In my experience, even the new Thomas at SFA was a joke of sorts, very spread out to try and fill a large area. SFDK IMO was even worse, I walked in, snapped a photo from the outside which captured the handful of rides and train for my TR (with a caption of along the lines of Here's Thomas Town, moving on). They had a golden opportunity to do it up right and failed. It just goes to show you can't slap a name on something and instant success, you have to cultivate it and create the atmosphere, like bringing in a traveling show, or permanent show and hammering the advertising end of it. To me, TT was just "there".
  3. Picking the biggest loser shouldn't be too difficult, oh wait, you're talking about losing weight here, nevermind, carry on.
  4. Looks like Legoland is going green News Article
  5. ^^ huge racks cost money, then they couldn't half way do it and need to have someone halfway attractive, and by then, they'd blown their set budget
  6. I'll be there this coming Thursday and Friday if anyone wants to meet up
  7. hard to ignore them when they are standing outside a church chanting with bull horns at decorated war heros funeral protesting something totally unrelated. There'a a time and place for a protest, just not at a funeral.
  8. ^^ It was quite the comical two hours just messin' with ya
  9. We've tried to forget about them, but they keep doing stuff the requires them having their tires slashed. They've come in several times to my Okieland and protested military funerals, and thats where I draw the line. Then doing it a childs funeral who died while riding a kiddie train as retailation for having their tires slashed (which they deserved) is beyond comprehendable which then warrants spreading the word for people to be on the look out. just my opinion. We shoulda towed the car.
  10. ICE QUAKE ICE QUAKE ICE QUAKE ICE QUAKE ICE QUAKE ICE QUAKE ICE QUAKE This movie kicked a$$, lets do it again!
  11. Anyone make it to SFOT today to see if they did anything to Tony Hawk yet? If not, I may make it out tomorrow and check it out
  12. Silver Dollar City next Thursday!
  13. this movie has a baywatch scene in it, well, sort of.
  14. fantastic pickup lines in this movie!
  15. the indian has pissed off his forefathers, now he's done it.
  16. well, this will be interesting, Bedlam is tonight (Oklahoma/Oklahoma State FB) going to be putting that picture in picture to good use!! Oh hell, I'll just bring the other TV into the living room.
  17. ^ Well, at least they didn't show up to a recent funeral/memorial service of a 10 day old child that was placed in a washing machine (I will spare the details) The mother was doped up. That would have been the lowest of lows. This stuff gets under my skin just a tad, again, thanks for pointing it out.
  18. ^ Many thanks! Looks like it's referring to a funeral last week, too bad I didn't hear about this in advance, I would've slashed all 5 tires, with much help I'm sure. Still going to send on to my reporter friends in hopes they will keep a close eye at future funerals of children (I know, that sounds cold to say at future childrens funerals, but it's reality)
  19. Thanks, MayTheGForceBeWithYou, for the information. I will be sure to take off work Thursday and head to Owasso (15 miles away) to form the human chain around the church. That's more or less what happened in Mcalester, one van full of these Kansas military funeral protesters couldn't get within several blocks of the church due to a human barricade, the highway patrol even helped them do it. During that time, they flattened two right side (I believe) with a knife. They drove off on two flat tires, no tire shop in town would help them. AAA eventually agreed to tow them to a Walmart who fixed the two tires, therefore, Walmart is now on the no shop list for many people. These people are sick in the head. **Edit: If you have the link, could you post it please? I would like to send it to a few reporter friends as I haven't seen that in the news. Thanks.
  20. So I called COX, , this morning, complained and whined a bit, they changed up their packages here and SyFy is on a different package now, after which I thanked them for informing me. To keep me happy, they are giving me a three month trial
  21. Being outside that long, in all of the Ohio elements, will require major dollars to rebuild and refurbish. Looking closely at the auction pictures, the running gear shows rust, and I'm sure it's more than just surface rust. Wheels aren't cheap, multiply that out by 5 cars and two trains, and wow, mega dollars. Then comes a restraint system cleaning, check, and parts replacement where needed, new seat belts (yeah, I said it) new seat cushions, etc etc. I can almost equate this situation, situation being that someone bought the Big Dipper, to buying stocks. If you don't do your research before you buy, you could stand to lose a lot of money. You could also end up making a sound investment and making lots of money. The choice, however, is up to the individual to research, study, and understand before putting their money on the table. Case in point, someone (me) bought GM stock before the bankrupty and bailout. I knew it was a risk, but I didn't fully understand their financial situation. I didn't lose much, but enough to kick me in the a$$. Since then, I did extensive research, studied the current situation, and bought Dollar Thrifty when no one was touching it for $1 per share. I sold off at $30 per share, it's now above 40. Bottom line, study now, be happy later.
  22. Well well, I try to show someone new, who on the surface seemed ever so slightly put out with Kat, a little respect and be nice to them especially in a forum of this magnatitude and love for Kat and what happens? I let me guard down and now I feel like a fool Oh well pknopp posted this over at the GL site: Betty Ford has Lindsey Lohan, they should both get along well The pictures below were taken from the auction listing on Ebay back in Sept. It was said at that time that the ride wouldn't be broken up and sold, i.e. cars seperate from the ride. This coupled with the news story makes me think they very well could still be sitting outside. I agree with pianojohn, if they are still sitting outdoors, they are junk, of course with Kat's expert opinion, with a little grease, they could be placed on the track and ran today.
