Rode El Toro three times on Sunday and it was AMAZING (as usual). ALSO, rode Green Lantern today with a co-worker for a bit on the radio. I posted the audio here if you'd like to listen... http://www.mediafire.com/?kg2ghg6si9d5gaz Rode Chang a few years ago, but I don't remember liking it as much as I like Green Lantern. Really enjoyed it!!

I'd start by determining which park will have fewer fat Italian men in speedos. I saw far too many at Mirabilandia -

I never have trouble getting a cab, unless it's between 5pm-7pm. I believe that's a scheduled shift change so most of the cabs you'll see have their off duty lights on. Also, it's TOTALLY true that taxi drivers racially profile, they're encouraged to...Check it out here: http://nyulocal.com/city/2010/12/08/ny-taxi-union-racially-profiling-is-perfectly-fine/ -

^I agree. Top of the Rock is a WAY better experience than Empire State. TOTR provides a better view of Central Park, it's cleaner, updated and it allows for a great view of the Empire State Building, something you don't get while standing on top of the Empire State Building Plus, there's all those dreaded lines at Empire State (from Wikipedia)... There's a semi-fast pass option, though. Allows you to skip a few lines. Even still, Rockefeller Center/Plaza offers much more in terms of an overall experience, espeicially during the holidays. If you're going to do an observation deck, TOTR is where it's at IMO. -

Do it! But wait until the Spring. I think that's the best time to see just how lively and active the city is. -

How much Faster/Taller can we get?
CoasterBoyJosh replied to Sir Coaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think a 500 ft Intamin is definitely possible and affordable... Think I-305/MF, but 200 ft taller with an Xcelerator-type layout (2000-3000ft). The thrill ultimately comes from the lift and the drop, but it would be affordable, just semi-short (1:00-1:30 min). -
Did somebody say happy hour?? I'm in! Also, does anyone have Valencia hotel recommendations?? I'm having a hard time deciding which hotel to stay at. If the Embassy Suites has a bar and happy hour, that's intriguing, but it's further away than any other option. The Hilton Garden Inn is RIGHT there, which seems nice. The Hyatt seems like a nice option, too. I just don't want to be away from everything. Like, where's everyone else staying?? Where's the after-party!? What should I do!?

More reasons to be happy with WindSeeker... 1) A flat will most-likely be added to Cedar Point's morning ERT. 2) When's the last time you actually hurried over to that area when the ropes dropped? Would be nice running to a new place. 3. Cedar point pounded the Frontier area with new attractions until it was fully developed (Skyhawk in 2006, Maverick in 2007, Starlight Experience in 2009, Shoot the Rapids in 2010). Maybe this is a sign of the lake-side area getting it's long-awaited makeover?? Which begs the question, what will be that area's "Maverick" or "Starlight Experience?" GCI and Boardwalk please!!! -
Thank you all for the compliments adamico2, Seabreeze was an excellent experience! My only gripe would be the food prices. They seemed WAY overpriced. Would you agree? Also, I was reading a review of Seabreeze on a TripAdvisor-ish website (don't remember which one) and someone was complaining about a recent altercation at the park. He/she said they would never go back because the park isn't releasing the details about the incident. My guess was some sort of fight. I noticed there was security everywhere (maybe too much considering how small the park is). Do you or anyone else know what that review was referencing? Other thoughts: The view from the Whirlwind lift is amazing! Reminded me of Ravine Flyer II. Jack Rabbit was classic. And Bobsled was such a cute ride! Overall, it's a clean, well-done, perfectly located small park. I would definitely go back. Need that Bear Trax credit
