  1. haha apparently SFMM is only 2h from NYC.
  2. BGT 12/23-12/25 (Photo’s and ride ratings below ) Well When I found out my family and I where going to my grandparents house for christmas break I was trying to get a theme park worked in to the trip. The choices ended up being Seaworld or Busch Gardens, My parents chose Busch Gardens. I was perfectly fine with this choice seeing it has more credits. This was also my first Busch Gardens experience. ( I had been at Seaworld about 6 years before). On 12/23 We left the house at around 8:00 after an hour and a half drive we arrived at BGT Mountu was lurking in front of me, I was exited because my only other B&M invert was Afterburn at Carowinds which I had enjoyed very much. We entered the park by 9:45 and headed towards Gwazi. Gwazi Lion was closed that day so I went on Tiger It really wasn't as bad as I had expected, It was a little rough but nothing compared to Hurler at KD. We then headed to Stanleyville to ride Sheikra. My sister and I were exited to ride Sheikra as it was our first Dive Machine. It was by no means a let down, There was about a two-three train wait all day. In the front row the holding effect was neat but in all the other rows pointless. Overall a very good ride and fit’s somewhere in my top 10 (out of a measly 40 something). We rode that for maybe four or five times then we headed to the congo. I was very exited to ride Kumba because I’ve heard so many great things about it. It had one of the longer waits of the day at about ten to fifteen minutes. The first time I rode it I was in the fourth row, I was not very impressed. The whole ride was very rough at time It felt like riding an old Arrow looper. However latter on I would change my mind on this (more latter). Then I met up with my sister and my parents after they went to a show. My sister wanted to ride Kumba so we did and it was about the same experience rough and loud. On to Timbuktu my Parents went to go see a pirate show so my sister and I explored the area. First Cheetah Chase, been there done that. Next was scorpion, I had always wanted to ride it. The line was at about 30 minutes do to 1 train operation.(Do they even have a second train?) Well it was a credit and that’s about all it had going for it. After that the show was over so We headed towards Rhino Rally, Which mom wanted to ride. The wait was maybe ten minutes, The ride it self was very fun and a relaxing experience. I noticed some Cheetah Hunt Supports and track but I did not have enough time to dig out my camera. We headed for Egypt. Egypt was fairly empty in the ride department other than Mountu, which I had already ridden from my tour. (I will get to this later.) That was the end of day one.. Kumba 10/10 Montu 8/10 Sheikra 9/10 Scorpian 6/10 Cheetah chase 4/10 Pictures. (my favorites more tomorrow when I have more time.)
  3. I know have two reasons to comeback next year. (I have a pass) Gwazi's sexy new trains and Cheetah Hunt.
  4. I have some serious doubts about this, but then again it's six flags.
  5. Sorry, I didn't know what he meant by "ala' Disney".
  6. The only one I know of was manta @ seaworld witch is owned by Busch, so maybe.
  7. Now that bobcat is finished, I have started an new park. Here are two screens from that park
  8. I don't see why 5ft is such a big deal? It's not like we can't decipher between it and the woodie which one is the terrain coaster.
  9. Is it to late to join? If not I want to join.
  10. It's good to see that White lightnin' is being treated well in it's new home. Looking forward to more photo's
  11. Sorry to bring back a dead thread. I think overall Kumba has my vote. Afterburn has some fairly forceful spots like the bottom of the loop. Most forceless would have to be Sheikra or Intimidator (unless in the back left of ether ride.
  12. Gotta support the team. Also love this photo I took at BGT.
  13. I've been working on my project code named "wildfire". These screens are not final the foliage still needs a lot of work.
  14. Looks like I'll have to postpone my first visit since '04 till 2012. I still have all the credit's to pick up too.
  15. If you were to go to Carowinds, we could meet up.
  16. Some more progress has been made..
  17. It looks real nice! My only complaint is that you use the balcony side railing almost every where.
  18. When we drove through DC to KD it was about a 2 1/2 to three hour drive. We also hit a lot of traffic in the DC area though. Have fun wherever you go.
  19. The guy in the front row has a hell of a fro.
  20. A little more work has been done. More soon.
  21. Looks nice GCI! Hmm....
  22. Wow! that's really neat, being a Carowinds native it's cool to see. Thanks Shane.
