  1. Oh wow I'm shocked. Knotts doesn't look like it has a good selection.
  2. Doing some research on Cedar Fair and I'm just curious which park people enjoyed the most. I've only been to Cedar Point but I think it's probably Kings Island or Kings Dominion. Please share your thoughts.
  3. I think Millenium has the best station with TTD coming in 2nd.
  4. I have no doubt the park will finish and open the ride on time. However, it does seem like there's still a lot of other work that needs to be done and there's only 2 months left. The park still needs to finish the station, test the ride, probably wire it, clean up the area, build the queue, work on scenery, and construct the entrance. I hope everything is successfully completed by opening day so guests can get the full effect and see the beauty of the new ride along with the entrance.
  5. That's going to be great for Fright Night. I can see the park hiding a cpl actors inside. I just worry that ppl with a phobia of spiders won't want to walk thru it.
  6. Here's my opinion on the ride. The Good: I love the fact that B&M has stepped up and made a Giga Coaster. The layout looks incredible and I think the ride will be a success. The colors are definitely appealing and were a great choice. The Bad: I don't think the fact that they have similar B&Ms are the issue. I think the issue is they should have introduced a new train or a different type of track design. MF and Magnum have been compared because they both are a hyper & giga located in the same park. However, you can see a huge difference just by looking at the two. Magnum looks alot older trackwise & the trains whereas MF looks alot more modern. MF has new track design, new style trains, and a cable lift. Nothing really stands out on Leviathan that makes it look like an upgrade besides the height & speed. So in closing I think the layout & theme should stay just add new trains/track or a different lift to make it stand out as a completely new experience. I feel that this is only the beginning, and Gigas will keep getting better espescially since there are now 2 company's producing them.
  7. I've heard alot of people say TTD is a much better coaster than KK. I wanna know why TTD is better besides just the fact that it has lap bars compared to KK's OTSR. Can someone also tell me if the airtime hill on KK actually has any airtime? Lastly is the height/speed difference between the two even noticeable?
  8. Can anyone tell me the approx month or date superman and green lantern will open. I live in pittsburgh and i think it would be great to go to Magic Mountain to escape the harsh winter. However, i would prefer for the new coasters to be open, at least Superman. So i'm trying to decide which month I should go I'm hoping sometime by February or March.
  9. Ive been to Cedar Point about 4 times and ive never been to Gadv. However i have been wanting to go for a while I think I'm going to finally go next year now that they are getting Green Lantern. I was just curious to know from other people who have been to both or perhaps just gadv to give some reviews or to actually pick which park is better.
  10. That's RCT3 how did u get the coasters to look like that? I've been wondering how to get things like steps going up the side of the coaster and what kind of coaster is that accelerator coaster? I only have rct3 itself... did you get the expansions?
  11. I wonder since the launch is only 50mph if it will make any noise like the one's you hear on some other launch coasters?
  12. Couldn't agree with you more!! I love Intamain and I'm willing to wait however long I have to for alot of their new rides to open. The only way I would really complain is if the ride opened like the last day ofthe season or a year after a ride was suppose to open. But i doubt that would happen. But living in PA and waiting for Sky Rocket to open I can understand some people being disappointed. You just have to realize some people have very busy schedules and can maybe only attend the park during the very beginning of the season and with the ride being closed forces them to have to make another trip or wait another season. Can you imagine people living far distances like California and having to book airfare and hotels spending lots of money to come all the way to the park. Some people plan months in advance and with just a couple days to a weeks notice you cant expect them to be able to cancel their trip, get refunds and just replan it. And that doesnt just go for STR thats pretty much any delayed ride. So I have to agree with both sides of the arguement.
  13. Which park overall was better based on their lineup of rides and attractions?
  14. I think they should just tear down SOB and make an Intimidator 306.
