  1. Anybody going to the park today? I hope to see some Gwazi offride pics and vids!
  2. Black Swan. Go. See. It. 4.5/5
  3. I found that movie quite enjoyable though the script could had used an upgrade. I wasn't bored by the movie (Jeff Bridges offered a nice counterpoint to the high-tech stuff with his "hippie zen" take on his original character). Good eye candy, meh story (like the original), but enjoyable to watch over beer and nachos at the Movie Tavern in Williamsburg. I thought the music was pretty good, too. Gotta love the good Ole Movie Tavern! Cheapest Tickets in Town... (Not including the magical food that appears in front of you mid-movie!) I saw the Expendables there in August is love to be able to eat a cheeseburger and fries while watching Jason Statham blow up a dock!
  4. I'm with Robb, I like the way these pictures came out. Gives me a nostalgic feeling...
  5. This will be a big year, with allot of uncertainty.... The only thing that is certain is I am going to go to Busch Gardens Williamsburg at least 10 times !
  6. if you call a total worldwide draw of 250 million thus far a "box office flop" then what do you call Jonah Hex? I know that the movie did not meet the expectations of many, and thus did not make the totals the its was expected (200 million domestic, 470 worldwide) The movie is still pretty strong world wide and it will probably finish out with a 310 million dollar pull.
  7. '07 and the Griffon opened. I latter went on a coaster tour to Kings Island, Dollywood, Lake Winnie, Kentucky Kingdom, Six Flags over Georgia.
  8. I found that movie quite enjoyable though the script could had used an upgrade.
  9. ^ At night, its a 8hr 30min drive from Richmond to CP with a few stops on the way. Word of advice, Pennsylvania Turnpike sux!
  10. You know... It would be so cool if Knott's installed a skyjump like that on the Stratosphere Tower in Vegas on the Sky Cabin and make it relevant again!
  11. How would prices look for a normal Coastermania?
  12. ^Do ya'll think that Busch Gardens may be aiming t go family friendly with this attraction? as in the fact of it not being to forceful?
  13. So... [though processing] Screamscape is now reporting the rumor and has the "plans" of a Mack multi-launch coaster for 2012 at Seaworld Sna Diego. It has been rumored that a GERMAN built coaster would represent the new BGW2012 coaster. Is it more likely that it will be a Mack though BGT is already building an Intamin and Busch is notorious for building similar coaster at the Busch Gardens parks (ex. for the n00bs: Alpinegeist, Montu/ Sheikra, Griffon/ and several attempts to build similar coaster or coasters by the same manufacturer: Drachen Fire, Kumba/ Python, Loch Ness Monster/ Scorpion, Big Bad Wolf/ and only once did they build coasters the same period that were totally different: Apollo's Chariot, Gwazi) Though the two coasters at the BG parks will be similar in format, it now seems more likely that Mack will be coming to BGW. The layout of "Manta2" at SWSD looks like version of what we will see at BGW.
  14. I live in a sweet spot... 35 mins from Kings Dominion 45 mins from Busch Gardens 2 hrs, 45min from Six Flags America 4 hrs from Hershey Park 5 hrs from Carowinds 5 hr, 45 mins from Dollywood 6 hrs from Six Flags Great Adventure 7 hrs, 30 mins fro Six Flags Over Georgia
  15. EVen though the idea of losing Mythos (probably the coolest in-park restaurant I have ever been too) is saddening to imagine, I for one eould encourage Universal to expand WWoHP. I imagine some sort of new interactive wizardry show involving wand fights and things would takeover Sinbad as the show building itself was a great venue... but Poseidon... Good question to ask what it would be useful for.
  16. Thanks, It would be pretty cool if my idea wasn't far from the real thing. Launching into a tunnel like on Backlot is pretty cool. Also, Chris of BGWFans posted a video of the planning commission meeting on January 5th. Link
  17. From Various descriptions and self-vision, I created this SPECULATIVE diagram of the BGW2012 Coaster. The Red Block is the 26,000 sq. ft. building. The Dark Green Block is the existing BBW Station which is speculate to become the BGW2012 Coaster Station, I have also "drawn" in storage track. The exterior Speculated track is the Orange lines. The Lime Green lines is speculated launch track. The Dark Blue is the speculate bridge. I created this to give somewhat of an idea to what we'll be looking for possibly and invoke debate!
  18. The Autobahn is a country-wide road system... Parts of it do travel through the Black Forest. I am not a complete fan of an "autobahn" theme. I'll go with it... But, imagine a Intamin train with a Lamborghini or Ferrari or BMW themed front!
  19. This is so cool! Please continue!
  20. I've only ridden three Arrow Suspended and Iron Dragon was the most boring.... without a doubt.
  21. 1. Inception 2. Black Swan 3. Social Network 4. Toy Story 3 5. True Grit 6. The King's Speech 7. How To Train Your Dragon 8. The Kids Are All Right 9. The Town 10. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 HM. The Fighter HM. 127 Hours
