  1. I got my first ever part time job! I'll be making $9 an hour three days a week.
  2. Anthrax - "Fight Em Till You Can't" This song is literally about a zombie apocalypse. It even says at the beginning like a radio broadcast, "Attention: City officials have issued a warning that the bodies of the dead are returning from their graves and attacking the living." I know I'd kill zombies to this music.
  3. Saxon - "Denim and Leather" Do you dream of playing guitar, or smashing on the drums Maybe you could learn to play the bass You could always be a singer, like me and front the band When on the stage, we wait at your command. Such an amazing metal anthem. Saxon just makes me feel happy.
  4. So this just happened: I was watching NHL coverage, since it's the playoffs and there's a lot of big stories, and my sister decides she just wants to change the channel. My dad is in the room and does nothing to stop her, and yells at me when I say that I should be allowed to watch something if I was already watching it. She changes the channel to NCIS, which I like, I just don't want to watch it right now, and then she doesn't even pay any attention to it. She's playing on her Kindle Fire. She just decided that I don't get to watch what I want to watch. Stuff like this happens almost every day. My 14 year old sister has more freedom in this house than me.
  5. Porcupine Tree - "Lazarus" A very welcome change from the metal I usually listen to. Soothing, easy to listen to, just puts me in a good mood.
  6. Buckcherry - "Sorry" Nice to change the pace every now and then.
  7. Iced Earth - "Declaration Day" Nothing screams 'Murica like a heavy metal song about the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
  8. Coheed and Cambria - "Welcome Home" One of the greatest guitar riffs in rock history. Apocalyptic and just amazing.
