Adrenaline Mob - "Come Undone" ft. Lzzy Hale (Duran Duran cover)

Fozzy - "Sandpaper" I don't watch WWE so I can't comment on him there, but Chris Jericho definitely has a good band and can really sing.

My sister is so hopelessly naive about everything; I can't stand her. She's the kind of person who lets Tumblr dictate every aspect of her life. All the shows she likes, all the music she listens to, her political views, her beliefs, all of it is because it's popular on Tumblr. She is totally convinced that school is the hardest and most stressful part of every person's life, and after she graduates her life will get so much easier. She believes some BS statistic that claims "Kids in school experience the same amount of daily stress as 1950s insane asylum patients." She says that high school will be the most stressful part of her life and once she starts her job it'll get 20x easier, yet here's the funny thing: She wants to be a field agent-criminal profiler for the FBI who helps catch serial killers. She is convinced that that job will be easier than anything she does in school, and refused to accept when our parents told her that she's horribly mistaken, and she started sobbing because of it. I hope she graduates and life just slaps her in the face to make her realize just how wrong she was. I will laugh at her when she fails and realizes "My family was right all along." Any struggles she meets after she graduates, she will deserve all of it because of how naive she is about the real world.

Rival Sons - "Get Mine" The 70s throwback movement happening in modern rock n roll right now is one of the greatest things to happen to music in a long time. This band is unbelievable.

I'm not technically "reading" a book, but... I am writing one. The premise is it's a coming of age story in the form of the lead singer of a fictional rock band telling his life story as he's preparing for a gig on the five-year anniversary of a significant event that turned everything he knew on its head when he was 18. Most of the story will be very happy and upbeat, but once it gets to that event, it's going to be an emotional onslaught until the very end, but with an uplifting ending. Apart from being a 'growing up' story, it's also a 'redemption' story for a lack of a better word, as the main character tries to put the pieces of his life back together after the unspecified event that changed everything for him. I've been righting a rough draft for the last month and it's going to come together in very much a 'patchwork' kind of way. I'm writing each scene separately and am going to stitch it all together when I'm finished. I have about fifty total pages written, but it's still in the very rough draft stage. My goal is to have the actual writing finished by June of 2015, and from there I'll worry about trying to get it published. My main goal right now is just to finish it.

Saxon - "Princess Of The Night"

Among The Betrayed - "Cold And Jaded" I really hope this band takes off. Even though they only have three songs released, they're better than a lot of metal bands out there. Slamming heavy, super melodic, just awesome.

The "Say Something Random" Thread

Writing my novel is making me depressed because of something really sad that happens in it. I've been feeling really down the last couple days because what happens is so brutally sad. -
