  1. The Fireball at the fair where half the seats are broken. The fear factor really adds to the fun of it all! =D
  2. Flight Deck has shoulder bar restraints. I hadn't ridden on it before they were changed, what were they before?
  3. I went to Kings Island today, Diamondback and Beast still hold my top spots. Flight of Fear was amazing the first ride, but after you know what's coming, it sort of loses its authenticity.
  4. The Racers at King's Island really shake me. It is 35 years old though and supposedly brought back the second era of coasters, but I digress. I don't mind the handlebars on the Beast, but that's just me.
  5. Hopefully stadium-style seating will catch on, I really enjoy it!
  6. True, the CC only has 4 inversions while the Vortex has 6. They both have consecutive loops though, and I guess that's why I saw it.
  7. I went on the one in New York, New York. It was my second flipping coaster. I don't remember it very well though so I guess it wasn't that exciting.
  8. Being a new 15 year old member, I'll be sure to try and keep this in mind. Besides, I'll probably end up trolling the site more than posting.
  9. After coming home from another sucessful trip to Kings Island today I discovered how similar the two Cedar Fair parks are. I just moved to Ohio from South Carolina about a month or two ago so I have experience with both the parks. (i'd just like to point out that their websites are identical with exception for the actual content) Here are the things I saw between the two parks: -Carolina Cobra (Carowinds) and Invertigo (KI) -Nighthawk (Carowinds) and Firehawk (KI) -Carolina Cyclone (Carowinds) and Vortex (KI) -Identical colored and named Drop Towers in both parks -ThunderRoad (Carowinds) and The Racer (KI) -Identical Wild Thornberry Log Flume and Scooby Doo Haunted Mansion in the Nickelodeon section. Feel free to point out anything I missed. I haven't been to any other Cedar Fair parks before and I'm curious to know if they are as identical as these two. [i actually overheard a man talking to his wife in a deep NC accent about how identical the Carolina Cyclone and Vortex are. That's what made me create this thread.]
  10. Diamondback in Kings Island. No questions asked. http://media.cfpl4.cedarfair.com/canadaswonderland/behemoth/images/rendering_train_3d.jpg You get insane airtime on every hill, the second one in particular. With only a lap bar to restrain you and with stadium seating, you have a perfect view of the drops and you feel like you're flying on every one!
  11. The second drop on Beast with the double-helix. It's my favorite part of any ride ever, but it's truly a b****.
  12. I used to live only a couple hours from Myrtle Beach and I got the chance to go to 'Hard Rock Park' when it was still 'Hard Rock Park'. Overall I don't think it was really worth the money, but I got in for free because my dad had some business picnic there. The Led Zeppelin ride had almost no line, and since it was brand spankin' new I really enjoyed it. I can't remember what the other main coaster was but the line was 3 hours no lie. I waited for a half-hour listening to the in-line karaoke they had set up to keep you entertained. I drove me so mad I left. The overall theme of HRP was great, but the execution wasn't so hot and the timing was terrible. I read in the paper that Freestyle Park was adding a Christian Music section but I'm not really sure how that'll play out. It was a really gorgeous park though and I would really hate to see such a perfect ride go to waste. And that is my overall review of HRP.
  13. 15. I'm not sure of my first coaster, but my first loop was Rockin' Roller Coaster in MGM Studios Disneyworld.
  14. The Diamondback at Kings Island today. One of my favorite rides of all time because of the air time. Both times I rode it I saw someone lose a shoe so they had to buy 30$ pairs at the gift shop where they spit you out at. A very Disney move on their part. [/img]
