^Yes, but it goes out to the long end of the peninsula, Cedar Downs is right on a corner and there's a lot less room for a ride right there. I'm sure they could engineer something to go over the road there if they wanted to, I'm just saying it would be a lot easier to build something somewhere else. And once again, the practicality of having more parking there outweighs any attraction you could put there.

I have heard minor rumblings about a B&M hyper being CP's next addition. I can only imagine the backlash if that happened, but it's the only thing concrete I've heard about CP's next coaster. But keep in mind that with Ouimet now in control of the company, things could change.

^Anything going to the Cedar Dorms area would be significantly different than where Magnum goes.

^I agree, developing that land as a parking lot would be a lot more practical than trying to put some type of attraction there. Perimeter Road poses lots of logistical problems with rides and/or midways having to cross over it, I think it would be more trouble than it's worth.

^I'm saying it'll take a miracle to get that park anywhere near being viable. The Kochs are awesome, but we all bite off more than we can chew sometimes, and I think this would be a classic example of that.

So the people at HW operate what is easily the best park in the region (and arguably one of the best parks in the country), but they want to try to revive what was easily the worst park in the region (and arguably one of the worst parks in the country)? To me, this investment would be like buying a boat. It would be a colossal money pit with absolutely no return on their investment. I really, really hope they see the logical side of this and change their minds.

I know this is about Fun Spot on I-drive, but has anyone noticed that Fun Spot Kissimmee got a new kiddie coaster recently? I was just there a couple weeks ago and saw no construction going on and no signs of any new ride. Either way, it's another new credit in Florida!
