Everyone has to be a critic! I think the new trains look amazing.

Giant the year it opened was an amazing woodie. It was actually really smooth. I'm kind of bummed that they let it get so bad but, at least they are addressing it now.

Finally got a chance over the weekend to ride El Toro. The airtime hill right before entering the twisty section at the end is pure insanity. Nitro was excellent as well.

Don't miss the back seat (with the extra seat belt) for some insane ejector airtime.

I've never been on Mean Streak or SOB but, it's difficult for me to see how a coaster could be worse than Rattler and still be operational. They need to tear it down and put a good woodie on the same beautiful spot.

Hey there, I worked at SFOT for about 5 years in the retail department. Starting out as a black tag, the pay is not going to be great but if you work hard you can get promoted to red tag pretty quickly, which increases your pay by 1-2 bucks an hour. The work is generally pretty easy. Sometimes you have to deal with an angry/irrational guest which I'd probably consider the worst part of the job. Ten years later, I still consider that job (my first actually) to be my favorite so far. I made tons of friends there and got to spend most of my time in the park that I grew up in and loved. Also, the employee parties were awesome and generally included ERT on one or more of the coasters after the park closed. I remember one year they turned off all the lights on the Texas Giant for the employee party. That is a pretty intense ride in the dark!
