If it is a Hyper coaster, could it possibly a Goliabull (twisted) instead of a Nitroback (airtime)

Anybody here anything about Canada's Wonderland. I heard something about an Intamin ride for 2010.

That's true but the lift/launch section doesn't have any slits that would house the anti rollback. This makes more likely to be a lift. And also the lift/launch track resembles more Millennium Force than a launch coaster.

Now that I think about it. It may not be a "Space waster" as it is built in between Anaconda and Rebel Yell. So the large spaces that the roller coaster doesn't go through maybe just those coasters tracks.

The ride does seem to lack airtime, but at least it looks better that millennium force. However, it just looks like a "space-waster." They could have designed a better ride using less space. But I think the ride is going to look different that what the simulation makes it to be. However, you have to admire the craftsmanship for a ride that is yet to be built.

That's a very nice video . The amount of land they cleared would suggest it could be a wooden coaster. CF have recently been putting up a lot of GCI woodies at there parks (Prowler at WOF and Renegade at Valley Fair). Maybe Carowinds is next on the list. However, if it is a steel coaster, i can only imagine a coaster with a insane amount of inversions.

The one thing I hope about the new giga coaster is that it has plenty of airtime. I didn't like the fact that millennium force only had 2 air time hills. But I don't want a lot like B&M Hypers or Steel Dragon 2000. Maybe a equal balance like Expedition GeForce.

DO you think it is possible for you to post POVs of the people choice roller coaster each month, if you have the footage. There are certain rides that I always wanted to see on or offride footage (e.g. Tatsu) that I can never find online and I know many people feel the same way.

A good ride is any ride with generally great theming. Look at X2, Terminator Salvation: The Ride and the Bizarro Coasters. So for the new ride to be hit, I would expect CF to give it good theming to compete with the Six Flags parks.

The coaster is most likely a hyper or giga coaster. The pieces seem to be either the lift or launch mechanisms. However, if it were to be a launch coaster, there would be visible slits that would house the rollback breaks. The track in the picture doesn't have any slits for the rollback device, making it a lift hill. And the the rotated L pieces that is beside the track has a similar counterpart that are used on "Millennium Force's" lift hill track to hold the parallel stairs. The Intamin track that was spotted there is a new type of track they are producing. They are using a similar type of track for a ride at a park in Dubai that is supposed to be one of the fastest in the world. Hopefully, Cedar Fair heard wind of this and are adding a ride similar to that.
