  1. ^There is no proof, you're right, but all the evidence at the park just SCREAMS B&M hyper.
  2. ^We already have an Intamin one.
  3. But the cleared is just like 1/3's of the entire project area...it goes all the way to the back entrance. The cleared area is presumingly for the station/transfer/ entrance area. And I kinda dont think this is an intamin cause wouldn't they ship both coasters over at the same time if it would take the same time to deliver from overseas? Both parks have similar opening dates... Yeah, to Andyuk, this site is huge when you look at the whole thing. I take it you've only seen the dirt part. Whatever it is, it's going to be gargantuan. This is not a clearing for a medium-sized ANYTHING...
  4. ^^ Speaking of nightmares, look at Hypersonic at KD. S&S Arrow coaster. So many problems with capacity. So many problems with maintenance. Closed. And now they build another pneumatically launched coaster that goes 54 mph faster. Not the smartest move for the company, but I guess they got to do what they got to do to satisfy the client. I've heard their woodies are decent. Hopefully they start to advertise these higher capacity, lower maintenance coaster types, like you said and build them more. Eventually, move to steel coasters like that. Maybe they can redeem themselves... ^ It doesn't matter now, they have the fastest roller coaster in the world. Their attendance should rocket.
  5. No offense to S&S, but I think they are going to epic fail on this one...
  6. Okay, I've only been on 39 roller coasters, but I'll still give my top 10. (This is slightly embarrassing) 1. Magnum XL-200 2. Fahrenheit 3. Stormrunner 4. Kraken 5. Raptor 6. Wildcat (Hersheypark) 7. Medusa (SFGAdv) 8. Lightning Racers (L) 9. Afterburn (Carowinds) 10. Revenge of the Mummy...? I feel like I'm forgetting one.
  7. sheez...380 feet of vertical lift weightlessness....and I though Fahrenheit was insane
  8. Wow, I'm only fourteen, but from a kid's perspective, that is genius! Definitely try that on your next vacation...
  9. Seriously. People. Are. Weird. Its a frickin booooomerang! Ummmm. I was in line for Millenium Force, about a 20 minute wait or so...not too bad and the people behind us asked right when wegot in the station if MF was faster than Raptor. Ummm. IDK since MF is x2 bigger than Raptor. wtf. Anothe time we w3ere just getting off and this person said "Man I wish they brought back the Carolina Cyclone...". C'mon, you can't blame them for this. They're the GP. They don't know. They don't intently research this stuff like we do. That mistake isn't as bad compared to some of the other stuff in this thread. At least they knew the names! But, that second one is hilarious. Now, that's one you can laugh at the sheer ignorance.
  10. In addition, there's the 'Roller Coaster' (how original) right in the city. Unless you'll sacrifice a credit for a massive headache, I'd keep my distance. It's a TOGO...
  11. ^They have those, but they're all foreign I think. One side is standing, and the other side is sitting.
  12. Ok, there's proof. Yeah, I didn't see that.
  13. I'm confused. Not that I think this coaster is going to be launched, but if we've been seeing the same cable lift design for 2 weeks, and now the top of it arrives with the same design, I'm not sure how this settles it. It's the top. All coasters, launched or lifted, have tops...
  14. Could it be said that El Toro is the most intense drop on ANY coaster to date? Steel too? Or, does someone still have a more intense one?
  15. I felt nothing on Mean Streak's drop. I HATE that ride. I literally thought I was dead when the train came back into the station. THE ROUGHEST ROLLER COASTER ON EARTH! I like to call it "Death on Rails"...
  16. MCJ09 = Mega Coaster July 2009! Yay! I figured it out! After 107 pages of deciphering these codes, I have figured it out...
  17. I have a strong feeling these pieces are for Carowinds' hyper in 2010 ^ I think the yellow pieces were shipped overseas.
  18. ^Isn't there such thing as a cable launch?
  19. Rebar has arrived at the park today and footers are being poured.
  20. Why do I get the feeling this coaster is going to have a TON of problems? Looks pretty cool though...
  21. Well, SFKK is just as bad, wouldn't you say?
