Ok, I see what you are saying now... I didn't read the very first sentence of the TR But still, people go to Myrtle beach for the... beach. Not for the roller coasters (Unless, you're an enthusiast). Living in SC, I can tell you that place is always deserted.

IMHO, it doesn't look like track that's going to go over 200 feet... And Intamin track has not looked the same for the last ten years... there is the box track, triangular track and the flat track.

What don't you get about it? It's the most visited beach on the East coast.

Hopefully it's one of those coasters that actually attracts enthusiasts from everywhere to the park, because we seem to be lacking one of those...

Yeah, but Cedar Fair, Disney, and Anheuser-Busch are a long ways away from bankruptcy... the only reason SF is in this mess is because they spent too much money on adding roller coaster and now they can't finish paying them off... it's a loan thing.

Then you might be surprised... C'mon... Is CF seriously going to buy a hyper and a giga in the same year? Think about the economy!

This is one of the best RCT3 parks I have ever seen. From a few different angles it almost looks Universal Orlando-ish. Can't wait for the big new coaster!

I know Joey isn't high on SF since he worked there, so that's the only reason I use that term. We all know he likes to get his digs in. As for 11 going 7, not very often, but we can all hope. If SF can't get out, that's a HUGE hole in the park industry. It's not something I'd like to even think about. Disney, Universal, and Cedar Fair......ugh. Yeah, I feel the same... We'd lose the #1 steel coaster in the world and the #1 woodie.. (although the Voyage could take over easily pretty soon)

Yeah, haha, Hurler's worse than all the other woodies in that park including Rebel Yell, which is more than 20 years older.

I heard these supports were going to Cedar Point... and I think that is more likely than Carowinds because we are supposed to be getting B&M this year... There's still a chance that those supports might end up at carowinds.Don't forget SFI sometimes switches rides at the last minute between parks so CF could've quite possibly have done the same thing.Another thing:It is possible that the supports recently removed from KD's property are for a launched coaster from intamin.....carowinds doesn't have a launcher so it's possible that a launcher rather than a hyper is what carowinds is getting,we'll find out soon enough when we learn where those supports turn up within the next day or two. Six Flags and Cedar Fair are two completely different companies with completely different ambitions for the future... don't try to compare their actions...I still stand behind what I said about the supports headed to Cedar Point. They are due for one more Intamin next year....It has been all but confirmed that Carowinds will get the B&M Hyper... besides... I think we need it more.
