It does, but it is too early in the season at this time to do so. -

Yeah, they ran it a total of three times. I was on every ride. We had to recruit more people to ride it before they would run it though. (Apparently it has to have 18 people on the ride at one time for "safety" reasons) It was the most enjoyable ride, however, as the rain pelted your face. I apologize for today man. I was just as mad that we had to close too, and I wish we could have ran it more than three times at least. (and I could have finished my training!) By the way, this is the kid who was talking to you at the end and asked about your TPR name. -

Well, in short, the operators made them up during media day, and they sort of stuck around until the first major breakdown in 05 and then they stopped using the names. Among enthusiasts they still stick around. -

Lol. They are the names for the KK trains In order from smoothest to roughest Blueberry Muffin - dark blue CP Beat It - teal/Schoolbus - orange (both are just as smooth) Gak - green. Anywhere besides the front is automatic death to your head and brain. And by crossing I meant to the other side of the station holding muffin and schoolbus. -
^Oh I see. I can't even get past the 4th row without coming off with a migraine. Front is definitely the way to go, it is smooth as glass. Second row isn't bad either. Third is horrible, and fourth is slightly better than the third. Anything past that, forget it. I feel sorry for the gp who randomly go for any row.

Arrived around 10:15ish. It was just me and Dave for now. Saw a big big group at the ropes, but it was expected because it was so nice out plus the Scouts and stuff. So 10:30 the ropes drop and it was a slow start but once the crowd cleared I took off like a bullet. Dave actually kept up with me. After a brief delay, we lined up for KK, maybe in the top 50. Four trains were on the track today! So we go up into the station and of course they say no when I asked them to cross so we just got CP Beat It which was the back train because Gak can go die. I think we got the third train out for the day, second row. It wasn't that long of a wait at all. That KK crew was the fastest I have ever seen them. They were pumping out the trains, and the ride was flawless. When they can have 4 trains operating that efficiently, it keeps the line down. The line was under a half hour all day. So anyway are ride was the same greatness! CP Beat It was smooth unlike the evil Gak. So we put the photo on the card and head off to Toro. 99% of you don't know me, but I'm the blonde kid with the brown Volcom shirt. (Known well at gadv.com, not here) To our surprise RT is racing! Cool. I haven't rode the right side yet this season so we rode that. Right side was running the green and red train. Green raced with yellow, while red was by itself because the left side had only one train! No sight of the blue one. So the ride was good, but the left side is still better. It also seems smoother than the right. We waited 2 trains for the third row. And after the right side had won three times, we lost! I was so pissed! Now off to Toro. My friends are almost there, so we figured we'd wait for them, but I saw a familiar face! I yelled out Josh! and sure enough it was Josh! He just happened to have a VIG. So we rode somewhere in the 4th car. The ride is back to normal speed and the two trains are running good. Sweet airtime and everything. I got stapled though. Whatever. -Awaiting photo- So we get off and Mike and his gf Jess meet up with us. We wait the fairly short ET line. Maybe a half hour. Me and Dave got the second to last row while Mike and Jess sat in front of us. This was Mike's first time, and I think it was good that we started him off in the back. In short, it's his favorite ride in the park. And of course we all had a good ride. This time I told the guy don't staple me and he didn't. I thank him for that. Made the ride much better. So next we go and check KK since they were doing great with 4 trains. They still were. The line wrapped around the switchbacks. That's what happens. We must've waited under a half hour, because they were doing so great. Jess had to put her bag in the lockers though, and we weren't going to pay, so we just stuck it in a corner. I see no problem with that. So we go up and I ask to cross again. The lady said yes! YESSSSSSSS!! I can ride my baby, Blueberry Muffin. I didn't hesitate. I almost tripped a gazillion times running to the line. Me and Dave got 2nd row while Mike and Jess went on orange in front of us in the 2nd row also. It lined up perfectly so they launched on the same run as us. So what can I say, Blueberry Muffin was still the smoothest, and I got major ejector air! It was like squeaking and making all these weird noises though. Stupid Togo. -Awaiting first photo Next we checked SUF.. very long line. No go. Alcatraz doesn't exist anymore. Mike was pissed. GASM was closed, stuck on the lift. We did ride it later. So next we wanted to eat, so we had expensive Ted's Cheesesteak. It was good, but small. We chilled in there for awhile and made our way to Nitro, stopping at the Castle Arcade on the way. I saw a BSOD at the drum game. It was funny! So we go to Nitro, which had a line almost to the sign, but not in the switchbacks. It was probably close to a 40 minute wait, but so worth it. We got the seventh row. Great air today. We saw Batman's line which was out into the park, so yea. Screw it. Knowing the crew they were slow. Chiller was obviously closed, they were doing work on Batman's track. Apparently Josh rode Robin? Dunno what time. Latest rumor is Batman will be running low speed tests in the near future! So we went to Skully. 15 minute wait. Fast line. It was almost to the edge of the building. Got 2nd to last row, and Mike and Jess sat behind us. We did that on purpose so they could do the Skull thing. Great ride today. Seeing the Sky Ride was too long, we walked to FA. RMT was on one train and long line, so we lined up for Medusa. 15 minute wait for the back. Smoother today thank god. Still had to hold on crazy tight though. 3 trains running. RMT still had a long line. We chilled at BotW for awhile. Next we went to the Boardwalk. Mike got his pass processed and Jess was with him. Me and Dave rode the now open GASM! Walk on 2nd row. It was hauling today. We got the crappy blue train too. It went to fast through the second half to enjoy it. Another ride you needed to hold on. The loops were a bit rough. Still a great ride though. SUF still had a long line. Next Dave got Dippin Dots while Mike and Jess rode the Parachutes. After this they went back to Ted's while me and Dave tried to ride KK before closing. They took off two trains and we just sat there in the line so we bailed. Here is what made me mad. We got in line like good little boys when a group proceeds to jump the ropes. They didn't cut us, even though they jumped in. The guards came back and blamed US for cutting! They said they saw us cut! What the hell is this crap? I tried to explain it to them but they wouldn't listen. I don't know what they saw, because it wasn't me and Dave, but the other people that technically cut. They made us wait so another group passed and let us line up. Obviously we left anyway. Now I'm glad they are stepping up security, but this is a case where the power boundary is overstepped. They need to use better judgment. So we met back up with Mike and Jess at Ted's and left. Another great day has passed. Overview Rides KK: 2 ET: 2 Nitro: 1 SM: 1 Medusa: 1 GASM: 1 -Chiller was closed from what I saw because of work being done on the track but apparently Josh rode it? -GASM opened later in the day -Nitro has 2 trains, while Medusa had three -KK was running absolutely perfect. I give major props to the crew. -Toro operations have improved Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EB0DEEaWLo4

You all caught GASM on a really off day. It never speeds that fast through the second half. They always brake it more, and for some reason Sunday they didn't! I'm really surprised I didn't see anyone from here, because I was there all day. KK back row is the worst idea. It is insanely rough. I posted a TR if anyone is interested.

The Internet Wood Coaster Poll Results Are IN!
nitro17 replied to jjeerr's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I totally agree. It is my least favorite coaster out of the 62 wooden and steel I have ridden. Nothing but jackhammering on the bottoms of hills, forceless, hardly ANY airtime, and way overrated. I am glad to see Toro got #3. I've been on it 14 times and I'm still debating whether it's better than SROS at SFNE. Right now it's a tie for my #1. -
