  1. If you go to Cedar Point's website, click on their sponsors icon, then it will list the sponsors. Scroll down to one NO ONE had ever heard of before, Crystal Rock Bottling Company, and click on it. It will send you to a link for the site www.whytelightning.com and give you a teaser for a new 'beverage' coming soon. Could this be the new name for the 2010 coaster? Also, look at the top of the bottle below the neck. There hidden is an upside-down logo for Millennium Force. Hmmm....this is one good teaser! Anyone got any other ideas about this HUGE clue?
  2. I'm 14 too and that update is way beyond anything i could do. I'll try and do one cuz i went to BGE in July and love that place...alot
  3. AWESOME UPDATE!!!! I've really wanted to do that morning backstage tour at BGE due to the fact that Griffon is my absolute #1 favorite roller coaster on this planet. Doing an update like this has made me want to do it more!!!!!!! Maybe when we go next year I can convice my dad to do it with me in the early AM and we can do it next year. (Hopefully they'll still be doing these next year! ) Thanks again for the great update.....I love Griffon!
  4. That'd be a super cool idea and a great ride all in one. The question is where would they put it?! IOA has NO land available i think
  5. Knoebels sometime in August along with Water Safari...Then SFGAv (1st time!!) over Labor Day. Any advice on that park and how to get around in it?
  6. Griffon A mythical beast that you have to take a dive on? Come on
  7. Steel: 1-Griffon (BGW) 2-Apollo's Chariot (BGW) 3-Millennium Force (CP) 4-Great Bear (Hershey) 5-Storm Runner (Hershey 6-Raptor (CP) 7-Mystery Mine (DW) 8-Fahrenheit (Hershey) 9-Alpengeist (BGE) 10-Magnum XL 200 (CP) Wood: 1-Thunderhead (DW) 2-Lightning Racer (Hershey) 3-Mean Streak (CP) 4-Twister (Knoebels) 5-Pheonix (Knoebels 6-Grizzley (KD) I don't have any others
  8. Griffon definitely. Even though it's technically considered a DIVE coaster, the word floorless is still in there since it's a Floorless Dive Coaster. And floorless comes first so... It's a lot better then regular floorless coasters but I'll get my chance to try out Bizarro/Medusa in Sept. That coaster any good?
  9. Nevermind everybody I figures it out...I had two readme files in with the ctr car and deleted those so now it works great! I have completed 2 dive machines now and think I'll stick to them because they at so much fun to constuct and watch. Thanks!
  10. So I downloaded the Griffon CTR for RCT3 and everytime i have gone on it the screen has frozen when i try and build the track. I re-downloaded and got it too work but now when i'm building the LIFT the computer will freeze or turn blue. I'm updating all the software on my computer now and I wonder if that'll help but does anyone know how to solve this problem? I need help!
  11. what coaster would they turn into Bizarro? Batman or Riddler???? I don't know but why waste the effort....
  12. Doesn't anyone wonder WHAT the layout is gonna be?! I'm really anxious trying to figure out if the drop and the rest will end up looking like Millennium Force at Cedar Point, but given the little area they have cleared I wonder how big this ride is gonna be. Given the fact that it looks and most likely will be a Giga ( ) I just wanna know what it's gonna look like. Any idea why it's got the same color scheme as Diamondback's lift too? It's somewhat identical but why would you make it look the same as another ride? That's really odd.... Can't wait for the release of the details. No one knows when that'll be though
  13. Fahrenheit last summer....almost 2 hours and not worth it...Storm Runner and Great Bear are so much better. I think Volcano at KD in VA was about 2 1/2 hours once....that ride was worth it Um......lets see....At BGE, sorry BG WILLIAMSBURG again, I've never waited for any coaster that long..... That's pretty much it.
  14. I think IOA is in need of a new coaster....I really don't care what type or kind, just as long as it's big and good. B&M's are popular in Orlando now so maybe they should wait a few years if they want another B&M....or they should do an Intamin. In my opinion an Intamin Rocket like Storm Runner would be good themed to some super hero or something in Jurassic Park maybe. But with the new HP land going in, IOA would probably stick it's newest coaster there. Were there rumors about a robotic arm coaster going in there? That'd be good, and attract a lot of people to the park. Wait, what about a B&M dive machine?! That'd be so SICK! I love the whole 90degree 200ft. drop thing.....super fun. That'd get lots of attention if it's bigger and better then Griffon ( ) and SheiKra and offer more of a vary in the B&M's in Orlando. With Manta just in they shouldn't do a flyer, even though one to Iron Man or another super hero would be pretty cool. Even some dinosaur at JP would be nice. Wooden coaster at IOA? - Bad idea. I think mega rides and thrilling coasters are better. A wooden ride at Universal says "It was cheap so I bought it and put it here." A steel coaster says "Look, I'm big and expensive and better than wood!" Steel would get more attention than wood would. I'm stickin with a B&M of some sort (hoping for a diver!!!!! )
  15. This ride looks amazing. I rode Ride of Steel at Darien Lake and I know it's SOMEWHAT like Bizarro but the special effects are just so awesome. The crash through the Earth and the Superman symbols looks so cool....wish I could go on it
  16. Those pictures are so cool...yeah an Aquatrax is water themed but they couldn't do the Atlantis theme again. Wonder what theme they would do, after all it is SeaWorld
  17. Sorry....I got it now. I didn't sees the post about the jets I just saw the B&M aquatrax thing and it confused me a little bit. By the way, an aquatrax at SeaWorld would be another nice addition even if it is a little bit like Journey to Atlantis.
  18. Very funny but I didn't get what you were talking about with the new construction walls going up......
  19. Wait wait wait, what's SeaWorld putting in now? ANOTHER flyer? Can someone explain to me please...
  20. Hey Robb, I went to Darien Lake on Friday the 22nd and rode Superman, sorry Ride of Steel twice. At the top of the lift, both times, I happened to look straight across only to find yellow B&M track sitting in a lot. Any idea what it's doing there and if Darien Lake has anything to do with it? I'm wondering what coaster it was because it looks pretty beat up and if the park plans on adding it to it's list of coasters. Thanks, GriffonFan09
  21. K, thanks for the info. The aquariums and stuff look pretty cool in pictures and stuff but you can't really tell by the look of them what the experience actually is. Yeah previous B&M's are seriously hard to knock off their rankings...I know Apollo's Chariot and Griffon are numbers 2 and 1 on my list. The only one that I have a tiny problem with is Alpengeist, it can really give me a headache after I ride it. d
  22. Awesome update! Looks like another great wooden coaster
  23. yeah I figured you'd get wet on the wing dip, and I think the g's at the bottom of the dive loop are from 3 - 4 but I'm not completely sure...ride still looks awesome. Anyone have an opinion about the whole experience? Sorry fir asking all these questions I'm new to this forum stuff.
  24. Ow that does sound like it hurts... Anyone know what the G's are on the dive loop? I've been wondering. And do you get wet on the wing dip? (LOOKS AMAZING!!!! )
