While I think that GCI builds a pretty consistent ride in a lot of their woodies, I'd say this is certainly one of their best! --Robb So is it better than the almighty prowler

I doubt you will see this for the begining of the 2011 season if the park is only in the planning stages, but I've been surprised in the past. Good point, i just realized the article says nothing about 2011, and its just in the title.

Man, it seems that most of the Parks on the North East trip are getting new coasters next year.

Hanno, You honestly take some of the best pic's. Worlds of fun had to of been one of my favorite Cedar Fair Parks. looking at these pics makes me miss the trip even more though

Wow! You used you're 2011 parking pass already? I thought it was a huge step forward a couple of years ago when Six Flags starting allowing parking passes to be accepted at all parks. I hope they reconsider and that Cedar Fair doesn't follow suit. Im more amazed that he used his 2011 Six Flags Season Pass at a non Six Flags park

Could this be Silver Dollar City? didnt they say at one point they wanted to put a Terrain Wooden Coaster in.

That would be nice, that ride looked pretty good when we drove by it, it was sad to watch it rusting away.

So in the last 5 pages we have had complaints about the height, the placement, the speed, how boring it will be, and the restraints. Cedar Fair should just stop putting in rides as every year its the SAME thing over and over again. Rick "Serious having Flashbacks from I305 last Yer" Mathews

And no news or rumors from WoF and Gilroy. I had forgotten about those 2, on the other side though they did say they were spending 80 mil in Cap Exp for 2011, and the things they have announced only adds up to around 32-36, so maybe Gilroy is getting that 300' Giga for 2011

So is this going to be the first year that Cedar Fair Puts in no new coasters at any of there parks? so far CW, CP, KF, and KI have announced Windseekers, Dorney and Valleyfair got Snoopy, KD and Carrowinds got big rides last year.The only other parks are CGA and MA, and i somehow dont see them getting anything huge.

Correct me if im Wrong, but didnt the Chance Toboggan that was removed this year used to be located next to the Boomerang? if so that could be a reasonable sized area to be used for a new coaster.

The funny thing is East Coast Bash is the Day after ACE's Conference at KD. I wonder if there will be any food left for TPR?

I personally liked Movie World better than, Dream world, I just thought that Dreamworld had a lot of off the shelf rides, while Movie World had alot of different rides (including Snoopy which was actually good for a mouse). It also probably helped that the SLC was closed the day i went to Movie world

I definately Say I305 beats out Bizarro, I honestly believe that KD may have the number one coaster in North America

I was at KD all day today, and yes they were assigning seating, but if you asked for a specific seat they gave it to you (or at least they did for me). I rode it 5 times, once back, once front, and the 3 other times in the middle and all were AMAZING. Definitely a new top 3 coaster for me. The wait time never went above 30 minutes, even in the beginning of the day running of the Bulls. The crew was hauling the people through at an amazing pace. This was a BIG difference from last year at KI for the opening of Diamondback when i waited 3 hours. The only issue i see with this ride was that it shows up the capacity of every other ride in the park. The only other coaster i rode was Dominator which had over an hour wait (only running 2 trains). My friends rode Volcano which had a 2 hour wait (only running one train) and Flight of Fear with an Hour and a Half wait (also only running one train). It also seemed that all the food services in the park had abysmal wait times, and half of them weren't even open. Overall i was VERY impressed with I305, but KD did not do a great job showing off the rest of the park.

Im planning on being there, but work might just screw that up
