  1. Interesting start! Your archy is top notch and the ride looks interesting. Is it a launched Intamin accelerator, a Gerstlaur launch, or what? Anyways, a car that would be helpful is the Gigalooper car. http://www.rctrevalutions.com/index.php?s=d5b6388394a477a3f35d994709773102&showtopic=7409 Using an importer and trainers you can make this on your existing ride. Keep it up!
  2. Go to the Atari Forums, there are two entries up that you can vote on. Get any entry in now please!
  3. I hope it's for Valleyfair. They could use any Beemer. Seeing as they already have an air machine, an Intamin impulse launched, an aging Arrow tri-loopscrew, a GCI and retro woodie, and some other ride nobody cares about, they should get this one. They are only one of two CF-owned parks without a B&M coming or existing they could get. A cookie to whoever knows the other one. But fanboy hopes aside, this is probably going to Asia or possibly even South America seeing the timing of its appearance.
  4. I sent it in and hope I get TPR bag-of-crap crap.
  5. Hawt pictures. I want to pet more! And Rollerman, you are basing your opinion on wood coasters on the worst of them.
  6. That one picture from the CP post looks like Arrow finally got around to making the looping suspended coaster.
  7. I loved the trailers although the tagline at the end was probably lost in translation. I guess other parks are listening to the success of the Nantimi ploy by Hersheypark...
  8. ^Alright, I can safely say that when this is done it will be photogenic and when combined with the seats idea it is a candidate for new ride of the year.
  9. I'm allowing one more week to enter this contest.
  10. I can't see any American park installing this unless it's in a Challenge Park-type area.
  11. The trains on 4d coasters are heavy and it would be hard to get them over the hills. Also, they usually have Raven turns and the plans don't have the supports required on barrel rolls. Besides, somewhere they said that this ride is more family-oriented than the other SWs, and 4d is not exactly what comes to mind when you say family.
  12. I have not been to Camp Snoopy (whoops...) since it was Camp Snoopy though I have watched since the big change I have not gone on any rides. Do you have any advice for me? Also, a few questions: Is the Pepsi Orange Streak running well? How are the operations? What first? How is the nausea on the half-pipe and the Timberland Twister? (dang, I mean the Fairly Odd Coaster. I really prefer Camp Snoopy. ) Is there any airtime, on what rides is there air, and how much air? Thank you in advance!
  13. Out of all the names it's either Kumba or Immeldog.
  14. ^Looks amazing. This ride screams (pun intended) Airtime! What looks strange for me is the small amount of supports on some of the hills. If I had a car I'd go to KI now.
  15. ^ Nice sign there! And a good TR. The theming on the dragon coaster is hilariously pathetic. I mean, it looks like they spent $100 at a landscaping store to do it. Still beats Scream!...
  16. ^ You only need one account, but you must look at the other site's entries and consider them equally for the vote. Just PM me your vote.
  17. ^ I live in MN, and have a similar climate around the same time of year. If you plan to go from open to close, wear layers and possibly a winter jacket if you don't care for cold. A wind-resistant coat sounds like a good idea on Millie!
  18. I love your archy! I can't wait to see the rides. This is a SF park so I'm expecting a B:TR/Medusa clone. From the looks of it this is serious, nothing like the CF Parody park.
  19. The Aquatrax that you have is more a premier water coaster, the Aquatrax is launched, goes in a scenery area, then skims the water. Also, remake Doubledrop, in parks premade coasters are a bad idea in real life (read: SLCs and Boomerangs) and on RCT. It shows no originality.
  20. That isn't what I expected; I expected the rails splitting off from eachother. Well, if all the Intamins in the world are still standing with this support method it works. Thank you!
  21. I'm Mochtroid, also known as 6000000flags on Atari Community. I know it's childish, but I was one when I signed up in 2003. When I was still a newbie, the user Mousing made a contest called Winners Park. The park was 100x100 and was divided into cells. You had to build certain things in each cell, one at a time. Then you posted pictures and it was put towards a vote. The winner's cell was kept and the park continued construction with a different cell. I id not enter but I watched. I then went into a hiatus. Now, not too long ago, I made Wondrous Park, a similar contest with only slightly changed rules and ran it on Atari. But the forum there is not going so well, and to bump up interest I decided to post it somewhere else. New Element did not allow other contests than the official ones, RCTAvenged only did RCT2M contests, and many other sites have died. I posted it here, and now the story continues... Link to the Atari thread: http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=666493 (This is copypasta from the Atari forums explaining the rules for this cell.) Wondrous Park is a competition by me. The format is a bunch of small challenges in one workbench with different limiters. There are 14 challenges in all. You only sign up for the ones you want to play in, so if you are not in the mood to make a food court you don't need to. This challenge is located between the mine and the sports area. Let's get to it. This is located at the area that had a 4x4 skeleton of a flying beast but has nothing. It's on the lake and has a chairlift station. Rules: * You must have at least one rollercoaster that fits with the theme. read: Flying, 4d, Suspended, or Inverted, though you can do other rides. * The 4x4 skeletal creature found in the other tab on Scenery, must be used somewhere in the area. * There must be a cafe with a seating area. * The rollercoaster must go over the tarmac pathways and the water. It cannot go under the bridge but it can go over any other pathway. Try not to make it extend everywhere. * There must be a gentle tracked ride and a gentle flat ride. (You are probably thinking helicopters) * Tunnels are permitted. * Don't destroy other rides. * You cannot import other custom objects in. * You must make a station for the chairlift but you may not open it. * And finally, trainers are permitted, but they cannot increase the maximum height of the ride. To submit, post pics here or on a website and a download link. Please post ride stats. Try to submit your section as soon as possible, last challenge ended with only one entry submitted and two done. Don't be afraid of having to set the bar, the sincerest form of flattery is imitation. Judging: After the entries are submitted, anyone can PM me with their votes. No voting for self. The most voted on entry will have it's workbench used for the next challenge. Standings: pnkfloyd 1 area Wild 1 1 area Garfield 06 1 area Troggy 1 area Flyingpenguins 1 area CoasterCreator9 1 area Unclaimed 8 areas Workbench: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NG8NPBRO Have fun! Please enter, you could make an entry in an hour or two and have it sent off.
  22. Could you please give me a sideview or a description of how an Intamin track switches from its different rail configurations? I know that there are 3 kinds: 2rails for low-G areas and I believe stations, 3 rails for the high-stress areas, and 4 rails for the very high stress areas like the uphill sections and top-hat on accelerators. Once again, what does a switch from the configurations look like? This is a small curiosity of mine. Thanks in advance!
