[RCT2] Excitement Point
Stoksy replied to Stoksy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^More exciting rides will come in good time, remember the park is called "Excitement" Point. The thing is I am not all that great at building buildings, so I usually just use them for food, drinks etc. I will try building some though, if you think it will make the park look better. At the moment the park has a generic theme, as there is a large river there will be two other "islands", both of which will have different themes. Thankyou very much for commenting. Due to the lack of buildings, and the general public wanting some more, Stoks Co. has been able to work throughout the afternoon to get some buildings up. SCR99.BMP The entrance area with some buildings, what do you think??? SCR100.BMP Due to lack of "excitement" Stoks Co. have brought in their first coaster. This is a small teaser as this will be the last update of the day. Please comment! -
Hello all, my name is Frankston, George Frankston, and I am a professional photographer, hired to take pictures for the general public (YOU) about the new theme park: Excitement Point. Yesterday, I was informed about a new theme park that is situated in a valley, with a beautiful river running throughout the park. The land has been bought by Stoks Co. productions, who have recently built the car park, for future peeps to park their cars. As I am a close friend of the Stoks Co. owners, I have been asked to get feedback from the general public for new ideas for rides, scenery, food stalls etc. Just so you know, I have discovered what the parks moto will be. Even the best roller coasters are not good enough for Excitement Point... I wonder what that could mean... Comments and criticism for the park are welcomed, and I promise you that all thoughts will be handed over to Stoks Co. for future building purposes. Now, on to the pictures. SCR92.BMP The traditional "Merry-go-round" ride is the first ride to be placed in Excitement Point. SCR95.BMP Here you can see what Stoks Co. has done with the carpark, looks quite nice I think. SCR94.BMP As I flew by, I was able to get this aerial shot of the park. SCR97.BMP The entrance area looks almost like a small fair. SCR98.BMP Another aerial shot to finish. Remember, comments and criticism are welcome.

Thrill Point Park [RCT2]

The park is awesome, one of the best, the only criticism I could give would be that RYU and Soul Eater don't have enough scenery, I feel there should be more trees and buildings around the two coasters. I am amazed that White Star is so good, I thought it would just be very high intensity and that's it, however, it is so much better. Awesome job BelgianGuy, I hope you continue to make parks like this one. -
BUSCH GARDENS SOUTH AMERICA [RCT2]

I LOVE the supports on both of the coasters, the themeing in this is much more intriquete and detailed, another thing I think is really good about this park. I've noticed that the park has a real "Busch Gardens" feel to it, with all the foliage and the buildings, if this is as good as TPP, I can't imagine what you'll think of next. -
Riverhawk looks brilliant, the only criticism I can give is that the name of the ride doesn't really suite the positioning of the ride, it could be named something pirate orientated or you could change the positioning of the ride nearer to a river/lake. Other than that the park is very good, especially the buildings in the Rivertown area.

Majestic Adventure [RCT2]

COMMENT PLEASE!!!! There will be a lot more updates soon, as my school holidays have just begun today. -
I believe that Skyfire should be a flying coaster instead of an inverted coaster, the stats would probably be better, and the flying coaster trains going through the large vertical loop would look awesome. Dragon's Den is perfect for the kiddie area, it really suites the castle/medieval theme of the area.

Thrill Point Park [RCT2]

^I know how to merge now, but my 8cars won't let me, it says the program has stopped working, I can do everything else though. To merge just type in something like "how to merge track in RCT2" in google it should come up with a site that is called hacking in rct2. The only problem is it only tells you how to merge straight track and turns. -
The "Preview" Thread
Stoksy replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Well, I kind of got bored with Majestic Adventures, so I decided to work on something else. A little something I've been working on. -
Well, it's not too bad, it's just that when you look at other people parks you notice that they start with the walls, then they add windows, balconies etc. However with your buildings you start with the roofs and build down, if you want to become as good as DBru, BRTeller, BelgianGuy etc. you need to be able to build buildings like theirs. The rides that you build are excellent, that's a great start, now you have to be able to theme the rides really well. At the moment you have an excellent starting point, now you need to go on from there and theme the rides to perfection. Also try to use less glass scenery, it usually doesn't really fit the ride, unless it's a Arrow or abstract B&M. Hope to see more updates soon.

Sweden Funland |RCT2|

Lalle555 - I have to agree with on the fact that the park is cosy, it has a nice feel to it. I LOVE the supports on Turbo, they look awesome. Your buildings are very good I have to admit, I quite like them. Hope to see another update soon. -
Thrill Point Park [RCT2]

The final Pioneer is interesting but when the vertical drop trains go through the corkscrews and barrels rolls the hack looks really wierd. I would suggest using small stand-up or floorless trains if you are going to use the cobra roll and barrel roll on Pioneer. I HOPE there is a download of the finished product. Is there a drop tower in the park? -

Considering this is one of your early parks I think it is really good. With the B&M/Intamin roller coaster, I really like the colour scheme you have used, for some reason I feel that it suites the land. Keep up the good work.
