  1. ^I know what you mean, however the only way I think that robmeister could have gotten better would be his footpaths, you notice that in the last screenshot the footpath from the exit is made out of scenery, therefore I am assuming that you are using an invisible footpath, is that correct? Also in previous posts there was no catwalk for the coasters, in this one he has used the wooden coaster track, I would think that robmeister means that he has gotten better at using the 8 cars trainer as well. I am gobsmacked. (Really, that was the only word I could think of )
  2. Amazing, considering you are "new" at RCT3 this park is awesome, especially the use of custom scenery.
  3. Thanks guys for the comments, you have saved everyone from an update free day. Excitement Point has recieved funds for an exciting water park, at the moment it includes two rides, a water coaster and a splash boats ride. (I have tryed very hard to get the water coaster's building to not look blocky, hope you all like it.) Another coaster has also been installed, ride name suggestions are welcome, as the coaster is simply named Wing Rider at the moment. Remember to comment on what you like and dislike, if you guys can reach page six/seven then I will post a download of the finished first island. SCR157.BMP Water Park overview. SCR158.BMP A close up of the splash boats ride: Water Park Splashdown. SCR159.BMP Overview of the water coaster: Xtreme Atlantis. My best ever undercover ride, the only problem is that there is no scenery under the roofs. SCR160.BMP A close up of the big sign for Xtreme Atlantis. SCR162.BMP A more up to date overview of the Water Park. SCR164.BMP Might I suggest looking in the top left corner.
  4. I've got an update ready to post tomorrow, however I would like at least one comment before I post, so get those comments in.
  5. ^WOW! I am amazed at the time it takes to build great supports, I am also glad that you have done so, as the coasters look extremely realistic. How did you make it that the original supports are not there, did you use a supports killer, and if so is it part of a scenery group?
  6. BelgianGuy - Very close, if you mean like BRTeller's El Diablo coaster. As promised, here is the big update... This is my first ever hacked coaster , Fireball, using GigaLooper trains this is the biggest addition to Excitement Point since Ignition, years ago. It is the largest coaster by over 100 metres and has a special barrel roll inversion element. The corkscrew coaster has also been named, due to lack of suggestions (not that that is a bad thing), Jaws: The Ride. Jaws has been themed and Fireball (If you can think of a better name please notify me, the position of the ride has to be the same though.) has been given supports and a station covering. Now on to the pictures... SCR148.BMP The entrance to "Steel Cove". Where steel coasters rule the world. SCR153.BMP Jaws: The Ride, with scenery. SCR141.BMP Fireball, hammerhead turn. SCR142.BMP The main part of the ride. SCR144.BMP The hacked area. SCR150.BMP Station and stats. SCR155.BMP Foliage overview. LOL. SCR156.BMP Park overview to finish the update. Comments are welcome.
  7. Guys, get ready for a huge update tomorrow, to give you a taste of what's to come, here's a small teaser... Also, I found the hacking 8cars, so I'll post a download of it. SCR139.BMP What do you think. Hacking 8cars.zip This is the hacking 8cars in zip. format. Enjoy. Stoksy.
  8. Stoks Co. have decided to unveil their latest coaster early due to a small problem with money, I bring you The Hulk Coaster. The second most expensive coaster (After Ignition) and the second longest, this flying coaster is one of the best in the country. It has a small pretzel loop, four nail-biting inversions and ten amazing drops. Scenery has not yet been placed, however there was some landscaping around the area being done. On to the pictures, also included is the totally revamped pretzel loop. (hope you all like it). Remember to comment. SCR135.BMP The "new" pretzel loop, is it better. SCR136.BMP Overview of The Hulk Coaster, with landscaping. SCR138.BMP Ride station and stats. SCR137.BMP I leave you with a picture of the park's latest restaurant: Hulk's Home Bakery.
  9. Personally I think that Frozen Thunder is a good name, however if you really want to change it, you could name it Wave Runner, or Western Gorge.
  10. ^Well it wasn't really supposed to be a pretzel loop, to be honest I don't know what it was supposed to be. Also there is some more landscaping around the latest coaster, and the reason I don't show flat rides is that it is not much of an update, however I will try to incorporate some in the next one. BelgianGuy-Thanks, but first I'll try myself, then if it still doesn't work I'll probably ask you to do it. Thanks for offering though. Thanks for the comments guys, keep them coming.
  11. ^Thankyou very much, I've never been very good with building woodies (excitement wise) but this one is one of my best, with supports it had 8.11 excitement and 8.54 intensity. Now for another update. This time Stoks Co. decided on something a bit different, yet well known. It is a B&M flying coaster with an inverted pretzel loop (I'm not sure if that's what it is called, it's shown in the picture though). What could it be... SCR134.BMP TEASER.
  12. ^Sure thing. Prairie Rider has just been completed this afternoon, with trees, coverings etc. SCR130.BMP Station platform. SCR129.BMP The undercover splashdown, unnecessary, but it looks nice, I think. SCR131.BMP MCBR undercover.
  13. ^I tryed to do that but I just can't seem to get the synchronisation right, one train always goes through before the other. This is another I began working on yesterday, if you don't like it I'll get rid of it. SCR127.BMP Demon, a De ja vu style coaster. I'm not a huge fan of it myself.
  14. If you're really worried about losing Donau Ridge Park, you could always post a download, then if you fix RCT3 you could download from the site and start from there. Though I do hope you don't lose the park, it's one of the best parks I've ever seen.
  15. Eventhough there are only two screenshots, the park still looks really good. I like the feel of this park already, keep up the good work TLM.
  16. Thankyou all for your positive responses, and yes this is another update. Stoks Co. were beginning to come under scrutiny because of their lack of wooden rides. After a meeting with the Stoks family, the workers came to an agreement with a reasonable 1 million dollars for a wooden coaster, due to these price restrictions the coaster is unthemed except for some supports and a queue line. So, without further ado, I give you Prairie Rider. With just under 1000 metres of track Prairie Rider flys through the hills (literally) and with it's cool special element this woodie is one you will never forget. The following pictures show the stats, special element and an overview of the ride. Enjoy. SCR123.BMP Ride overview with supports and queue line. SCR124.BMP The special "water over track" element with stats. SCR125.BMP We haven't had one of these in a while, an overview. Remember to comment and criticise.
  17. ^With this park, I didn't really have much of a feel to it, now I have posted another park, which is much, much better, also not many people have been commenting after I posted an update, this is another reason I have stopped working on it. If you want I will post an up to date download of the park. Now this park is just a testing area for hacked rides. Sorry.
  18. ^Thankyou very much, I quite liked the colour scheme myself. ^^^I used DovePete's Steel Pipe Supports and Toon's B&M Supports, if you wanted know.
  19. ^Yes, they are custom supports.
  20. ^The tophat is a high as it can go. Due to a small arguement with Six Flags, Stoks Co. have had to revamp most of Kingda Ka. Now with four inversions, seven drops, and over 1,000 metres of track, I give you Ignition. P.S. This ride has my best supports to date. P.P.S. Sorry about so many updates about one area, it's just that I want to get it perfect for the park download (Did I say that out loud ) Please comment on the park, and keep those ideas coming for the Vekoma coaster. SCR121.BMP Stats for Igniton. SCR122.BMP A close up of my best supports so far. Comment please.
  21. ^^Without supports it had 7.82 excitement, 9.92 intensity, and 9.01 nausea. As it turns out Stoks Co. didn't like Moonraker either, so the following pictures show the now demolished Moonraker, except for the lift hill. Is it possible that another coaster will take over... SCR116.BMP The nearly demolished Moonraker. SCR117.BMP Only the lift hill is left... SCR118.BMP New supports, maybe a new area is on the cards. Please Comment. SCR119.BMP The replacement of Moonraker, Stoks Co. Kingda Ka SCR120.BMP Stats. It uses the jaSkyRider LOL!! Remember to comment.
  22. ^I know what you mean about the length, it's just that I was originally going to make it a Flight of Fear type of ride, with a twist (the twist being the fact that it is a 4D coaster), however it would have been way to blocky to have the main section undercover and the ride is way to big. I'll see what I can do about the length... That is a great name, I didn't think of that , however before I change it I'll see what other people have to say.
  23. ^Yeah, I know, it's just that it looks quite cool, and this park isn't really all that realistic anyway, I'm just trying to create new and exciting roller coasters, even if they are unrealistic. I know I said that Moonraker would be the last update, but Stoks Co. have built yet another coaster. However, Stoks Co. felt that the general public were not involved enough with the naming and colouring of the rides, therefore, the next coaster is uncoloured and unthemed, except for some supports and a queue line. They want you to come up with the name, colour scheme, and ideal surrounding scenery for the coaster. Just so you know it is a Vekoma Corkscrew Coaster. I have supplied some pictures of what the ride looks like at the moment, the supports will also be coloured accordingly. SCR113.BMP Overview of the new coaster, as you can see it is uncoloured at the moment. SCR114.BMP A close up of the support work, and the majority of the layout. Comments and criticism are welcome.
  24. ^Good point. To be honest with you I have no idea, I just thought it would look cool, maybe not... Construction has continued and Stoks Co. are starting to get the "Excitement" out of Excitement Point, with their latest coaster. I give you MOONRAKER. Blasting through a 100 plus kmph lift hill through five inversions and seven drops, this 4D coaster is sure to please. SCR108.BMP No scenery has been placed yet, however I have been told there will be a lot of landscaping going on around the ride in the near future. SCR109.BMP Testing started today, so Stoks Co. could gain stats and decide on how to theme the coaster. SCR110.BMP A more natural look was given to the buildings. SCR111.BMP To finish this update, I give you the completed Moonraker, with supports, station themeing and queue line. Remember to comment.
  25. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE. Thankyou all very much for all the comments you have given me, they have helped me a lot with my park building. Keep them coming. The reason the colours on the buildings are so bold is because I wanted the entrance area to stand out, make a statement, though I do understand what you mean. The reason that the coaster track is in the air is because I wanted to use the track to build with, in those positions, I wanted the area to feel as if Stoks Co. were actually building the ride at the time of the photo. Another update today. I was surprised to find that Stoks Co. had worked throughout the morning to finish the construction of the parks first coaster: Furious. The colours of the buildings have been changed to a light shade of blue, to match the merry-go-round. SCR104.BMP The completed junior coaster: Furious. SCR105.BMP Better or worse??
