Here we go with the bitchin! Is it just me or is anyone understandig that B&M has finally gone over 300 feet! This is a milestone in coaster history! I don't care how similar to Behemoth this ride may be, a backseat ride on Nitro sends my stomach to my throat...imagine what this will do! You guys definitely have a winner.

To no avail. Maybe parks should stop building coasters.

So it's not a problem when Holiday World announces a ride that already exists at the park but it's "end all be all" when Canada's Wonderland is rumored to do it? I'm so confused

^He was saying that Holiday World and Disney have rides on every level of thrill. Personally, I believe SkyRush will add to their collection immensely. Most if not all of Hersheys coasters are extremely short but with SkyRush riders finally get to experience a FULL ride.

I just find this addition...odd, for lack of a better word. I understand the Waterpark is having an issue with capacity but why beat a record YOU already have. It's like Great Adventure adding a 500 ft tall coaster. If anything a major addition should have been added at Holiday World to draw people outside of Splashin Safari.

So I'm finally making the 8 hour drive to the point in 2 weeks and I'm quite excited to get a change of scenery and coasters. I have a few questions however, 1. What's the best time to get at the park? My last two trips, opening was a disaster. 2. What is the best "action plan" to ride all the major attractions. I usually start at the back with Maverick and work my way foward or should I go straight for Windseeker since it's new? Thanks in Advance!

Actually, the newer Six Flags commercial are more regional featuring mainly rides from the park in that area. There a lot better than the break dancing Cedar Fair commercials

With all the skyscrapers at Gadv, I think they have one of the best skylines around. If only you could see it from the road. Best of it's kind. Nitro Green Lantern really adds to the skyline. Coaster's everywhere! From HH

Anyone hear the new soundtrack in MovieTown?? I'm in love with it! It now plays a lot of movie related music.

It has been a long off season but FINALLY Great Adventure has opened it's gates once again. Yesterday was a beautiful day to be at the park with temperatures similar to summer time and crowds moderate at peak. I could not wait to see all of the improvements after reading and seeing them online. Green Lantern looks amazing in person as well as Safari Kids, Aldabra Island, Safari Discoveries and more! These photos were taken on my iPod 4g. A more detailed Trip Report will be posted later by the people at GadvTv! Green Lantern has really enhanced the skyline. Much more intimidating. First ride of the day, Nitro. 10 years old and still running just like we left her. However only one train was running but a second was put on while in the station. One of the new for 2011 things that really interests me were the Llamas. They are an excellent addition to the Golden Kingdom. Green Lantern looks really good from Golden Kingdom. Not better than Gasm's loop however. Kingda Ka's new station adjustment seems to be working. Trains were dispatching more frequently for sure. Another 2011 addition that I was excited to finally see, Safari Discoveries. The sea lions were playful and amazing to see up close! Not sure what these are but they used the location well. Black Swans?! The architecture inside was amazing! Animals around every corner! All together Safari Discoveries was kinda small but for what it is worth it's an amazing attraction. Not many theme parks offer something like it. Coasters&Candy signage. My new favorite shop! Honestly, it wasn't that bad of a walk around the Golden Kingdom. Can't complain. She's open once again and had somewhat of a line towards the middle of the day! Only running one train, and the Fiesta Train at that. 45 min wait all day. ZOMFG. I'm not sure what they did in the offseaon but Bizarro was running AMAZINGLY. It was fast, intense, and offered more airtime than usual. I loved it so much it's now #3 in my rankings. The audio was a little off and no auger of doom but the amazing ride made up for it! It's not a Gadv Trip Report if you don't have this photo! Ended the day with one of my favorite eateries at the park. All in all, Gadv has an exciting 38th season to look forward too. A lot of changes in the park but majority of them are good. I soon see Gadv slowly climbing to the top under this new management with flats and other exciting things in the future. I'll be back at the park next weekend so until then Happy Riding. I really like the architecture of the photo booth and station. Way better than the average square building.

Judging by the webcam and how the park has been doing the construction element after element, in order...it looks like vertical construction could be completed today.

Great News. Moorsetown isn't too far away from me, 15 mins top. Sounds like a nice place to eat let alone see some rides!

There will now be 3 green stand up coasters.

This is my 3rd season working at Six Flags Great Adventure. My 2nd season in the Rides Dept. In 2010, I was apart of The Dark Knight Crew. I do not know my placement as of yet this season. What park do you work at? What rides?

Green Lantern has got to be one of the most intimidating B&M's around. In pictures it looks as if the ride is far away from the path however in person it is right on top of you. This was one of the first time I got chills looking at a coaster.
