  1. Hmmm, I may actually consider doing the Haunt this year at CGA... that is, if they would hire me. I could certainly use the extra cash to help with baby costs and the moving fund. I wouldn't need much of a costume, either. I'm scary enough as it is: Scary Justin. Like, boo and... stuff.
  2. A gigantic fart from the arses of Liverpool FC fans. If a tree fell in the woods with no one around to hear it, would it still be 20 times better than a new Britney Spears cd?
  3. Anyone got any recommendations on some good software for a first time video editing person thing like meeself? Anyone? Bueller? Sorry if this has been asked before. Like, my bad and... stuff.
  4. ^ That sucks for Joe Bob... Great, so now there are tornadoes AND earthquakes. Jeebus, can't a guy just pick a place to live where there aren't any worries about natural disasters?
  5. ^ Ummm, tornadoes? I thought that Indy might get tornadoes but I wasn't sure. That like, kind of sucks if tornadoes are a common occurrence... I'm not sure if I'd like that very much. Ok, let me rephrase that... I'm pretty DAG NABBIT GOL BLAM DARNIT sure I wouldn't like that very much. Everyone in our family that lives outside of California always questions how we can stand all the earthquakes. And I always tell them, better than friggin tornadoes or hurricanes... at least we don't get major 6.0 or 7.0 tremblors that cause major devastation every friggin YEAR.
  6. Awesome TR and great photos. Silverwood has always been on my list of places to visit, but it's just so far out in the middle of nowhere. (Or seems like it anyways) I will have to eventually make the trek up to Idaho for the park. Eventually... when the wife lets me out of my chains... HELP...
  7. Friggin awesome place to get married. Sorry it didn't work out. My new wife and I got married in Vegas, but in a semi-chintzy chapel there. (I say semi-chintzy because this one actually was fairly nice and provided a nice reception afterwards) Though we stayed away from the Stratosphere, we did actually take a ride on Speed. And then we rode the coaster. Ok, yes, that was a bad joke... I know.
  8. ^ Nothing at all wrong with insurance, it's just not something I ever wanted to do with my life. I don't think anyone ever wakes up one morning and says, "I think I want to work in the insurance business the rest of my life..."
  9. ^ Hartford, CT (big in the insurance industry, which is what I do ) Cedar Rapids, IA (my wife has family close to there) Somewhere either in New Jersey or across the border in Pennsylvania (my wife has family there too) Reno, NV (I know, don't ask...) Basically, those are the places we're considering because cost of living is much cheaper. Now you see why Indianapolis is HIGH on my list.
  10. Congrats! My first marriage was onboard Medusa at SFMW, now Discovery Kingdom. Good thing for me that we ended up getting divorced because man, she was a you-know-what. Congrats again on your marriage. May you and your wife love each other forever. Ok, that was sappy, but I'm allowed some sap every now and then. Cheers.
  11. ^ Yep, we're definitely planning on checking it out for an extended period of time before we move. We've actually got a few cities in mind, but Indianapolis is the front runner which is why I'm so interested. I'm trying to convince the wife to visit near the end of August so we can get a taste of summer and maybe drive to Holiday World and maybe SFStL too.
  12. 1. Incredible Hulk 2. Millennium Force 3. Cyclops 4. Raven 5. Viper @ SFGAm 6. Raging Bull 7. Kraken 8. Superman @ SFA 9. Phoenix 10. Giant Dipper @ SCBB Unfortunately, I haven't really been to any new-to-me parks or coasters in awhile... like, a long while. Hopefully that will change very, VERY soon.
  13. Yeah, not a big fan of Hoosiers either, or of College Basketball. Oh well, at least I'd be close to several of my favorite parks and housing is dirt cheap. Thanks for all the great tips, guys. Keep them coming.
  14. Nice... SFGAm is a great park, and you're very much right about Viper. It is excellent. Great photos and a good TR. Glad you guys had fun.
  15. Mmmmmm.... elephant ear.... mmmmmmm.... *drool* If CF is smart, they will develop CGA into much more than it is now. It has potential, but those darn land constraints are a thorn. It's not like people here in the BA don't want good coasters or anything...
  16. Destroy Fizzly, clone Maverick, happy happy joy joy for all. Yeah, I like that idea...
  17. Soccer (or Football for everyone else in the world): Manchester United L.A. Galaxy Basketball: Golden State Warriors Baseball: Oakland Athletics American Football: San Francisco 49ers
  18. The only thing I care about at CGA now is the new GCI woodie coming in next year. Everything else I've had my fill of and then some. Although I still have yet to ride Survivor, I hear it's not all that and a bag of sweet potato fries. Oh, and I'm not a big fan of Top Spins either, but that's just me.
  19. Thanks, Scaparri. That was quite detailed and exactly what I had in mind. How about the weather? How harsh are Indiana winters? My wife says not too much snow wherever we move. Cheers.
  20. So my wife and I are thinking of a move out of California and I've been seeing a lot of Indianapolis on various t.v. shows and online lately. It looks like a nice city and it looks much, MUCH cheaper to live than here in Cali. What I want to know is, what's it really like? Are the winters harsh? How are the people? What are some of the areas around Indy that people recommend, like for schools, safe neighborhoods, red light districts, etc.? Seriously, I'm very interested in learning more about Indianapolis and life in Indiana. Cheers.
  21. Good stuff. I miss Holiday World. Seeing your pics makes me want to move into the park and live in the Voyage station. I wonder if they'd let me? Hmmm...
