  1. Its not going anywhere. Whoever posted the old Bizzaro discussion I commend you. They're going to slap new floorless trains on it and market it as the only floorless in Ohio.
  2. That'll be the Twister replacement Jurassic Park Jeep Chase. Still don't know how they never did anything with that scene.
  3. Should be interesting to see transpire once vertical construction starts and footers are placed.
  4. Mega-Lites would be a great fit for smaller parks that have a deep budget. Some of these small parks have a surplus of cash, they just don't feel the need to spend it.
  5. Here is the simple explanation; Don't ride it cause I sure as hell will. Thanks for making my wait time shorter, I mean how can you really say you'll never ride it again? I'll sacrifice a tiny bit of leg comfort for one of the best ride experiences in the world.
  6. I don't know if they would go for another launched coaster since Cheetah Hunt is relatively new still.
  7. Height restrictions. Falcons Fury is over 300 feet...
  8. Disney: Epcot SeaWorld: Busch Gardens Williamsburg Six Flags: Six Flags Great Adventure Cedar Fair: Cedar Point Cedar Fair (Non CP): Kings Dominion Herschend: Dollywood Independent: HersheyPark
  9. Where are they fitting this? I'm hearing Bird Gardens/Morrocco area. If that is even remotely true it would have to be a twister layout.
  10. Oh so you mean Twisted Colossus will get the eventual Six Flags treatment? Aka run both sides opening season, then never run together again after a year and a half with one side sitting dormant for large amounts of time?
  11. I apologize, you are TOTALLY right! (Jersey is America's armpit!) So is Philly, take it from a New Yorker . Seriously this addition is just blah. It is disappointing but if it reopens the path then whatever.
  12. I'll make there 3 hour journey to be there for opening day. Grinning the entire time, RMC looks like they have a winner in Wicked Cyclone.
  13. I'm guessing nobody has heard anything about 2015 yet since they just got Falcon's Fury up and running.
  14. I'm guessing this coaster will go up rather quickly due to the fact that it's a clone. Im curious too see how the finished product looks with the theming/landscaping.
  15. I was there yesterday and I saw no signs of anything at all. Although the park was packed and I couldn't see any markers in the parking lot due to all the cars. When would the announcement for a new ride be? Im skeptical on a new coaster unless Cedar Fair has this project really under wraps.
  16. Quick Trip Report: I arrived at the park around 4:30 yesterday with a few of my friends from New York. Parking was a pain as I have never seen the lot so packed. It was all okay though because around 5-6 o'clock the mass exodus from the water park, camp and families began. We got to ride every coaster in the park including a few re-rides on Hydra and Talon. I love Talon, every time I ride it, it gets better and better. SO smooth and intense, it has held up better then some other B&M's of its era which are beginning to get the rattle. All the ride ops were good besides Steel Force, good lord. I'm sorry if I offend anyone but Steel Force is just bad at this point. Besides the speed it offers really nothing. Its so outdated and provides minimal airtime. But overall it was a fun twilight trip. Two thumbs up for Dorney.
  17. I have to say I like the color scheme. That teal with the orange supports is going to be fire flames hot looking.
  18. Heading out to the park with some buddies for twilight admission today. I'll see if I spot any Stinger movement as well as any markers.
  19. ^ Are they removing those buildings too? That looks like an awfully tiny space for a coaster, even with a small layout.
  20. Screamscape rumors that SFGAd and maybe some other SF parks would get that. That would be a little weird to see, considering that those are giant versions of Ring of Fire, a ride I typically associate with little carnivals. Only Six Flags would take a carnival ride and market it as the best thing since sliced bread.
  21. ^ Thats because at SFMM they don't have to bother with the law that states they can only operate one ride at a time.
