  1. Wildcat? Really? I feel like I'd take mediocre Cannonball over Wildcat on its best days. Boulder Dash on the other hand is incredible.
  2. Does Batwing open with the park? My last visit it did not.
  3. I can't see another American amusement chain buying them. My vote would be a company not yet in the amusement industry or foreign money. Edit: I wouldn't mind seeing Herschend gettint their hands on it somehow.
  4. I never understand the OSTR's on Rollie Coaster. The first drop isn't too bad though.
  5. Agreed, Morey's Flat selection is second only to Knoebels in my book.
  6. Hope ya'll are ready for the new Giga Coaster and entrance plaza
  7. ^ You have ridden it many, many more time than I have. That being said I've also heard it was always a hit or miss coaster on some days.
  8. Skull Mountain was awesome. One of the best rides in the park before it was taken down IMO.
  9. You poor thing... Don't they still have the old Serial Thriller from Astro World sitting in storage?
  10. I kid you not, this may be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of an adults mouth....My friend suggest we do a BGW day trip.....Yeah we live in NYC.
  11. I think an expansion of any area of the park would be welcomed.
  12. That sounds like a legitimate nightmare.
  13. Mind Eraser is more likely to cause you bodily harm than any of the Clientele.
  14. Here's the deal: for people in the region, complaints about the clientele consistently come up and have been coming up for as long as I've been connected to the rest of the hobby or people living in the DC/Baltimore area. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that these complaints are really down-low racism, but confronting that fact doesn't change the reality that there's a lot of people there with a lot of alternate options who are basically afraid of a theme park with a greater than 15% African American or Hispanic customer base. Six Flags can do two things then: -Shrug, put lots of money into infrastructure that was ignored during the initial flagging process from Adventure World to Six Flags America -Do bare minimum to keep numbers where they are in a highly competitive market place The current management has never chosen for #1 for any park, so it shouldn't surprise you they've gone with #2. That park needs to spend millions on things like plumbing before they spend it on rides. This. The "clientele" thing really grinds my gears about this park. Leading up to the first time I visited SFA that is all I would hear about. When I finally visited the park I said to myself "what the hell are they talking about?" They were speaking about the place as if there was drug dealers slinging dope on ride exits and people were getting knifed on the midways. Man people are sheltered sometimes.
  15. ^ No I think you are correct. If I remember correcty there was a package deal going on for those two. And it still bankrupt Premier.
  16. I'm surprised we never saw any clones of Balder being built, considering the small footprint combined with a good ride experience. If you look at the POV of T-Express you can see that the ride starts out like El Toro and goes into what basically is a Balder clone. When we talked with the project managers at the park they told me "We went and ride El Toro and Balder. We told Intamin we liked them both and we want our ride to be a combination of the two and that's exactly what they gave us!" It's a shame that Everland hasn't built another major coaster since as that's sort of what we were waiting for to go back to that park. It's a great park and my memory of that ride is it's the best wooden coaster I've ever been on. Considering that El Toro and Balder haven't changed that much over the years I can't imagine that T Express wouldn't be any less amazing then it was when i rode it in 2008. Wow. I can see it being the best considering that it combines Balder and Toro. The best of both worlds.
  17. I know Intamin pre-fabs are a bit more on the expensive side, but that still shouldn't deter an entire continent from building another one.
  18. Non-Inverting loops are a great element. I enjoy them on the Sky Rockets as well as on Rip Rocket Ride.
  19. I felt the same way. Having two rides in the back of Phobia, going over the vertical drop snapped me 5 different positions in under a second. The laps bars allow more freedom than the OSTR's.
  20. Its definitely worth a visit. Very solid coasters up there in Superman, Wicked Cyclone and Boulder Dash.
  21. Wow I had no idea! It thought since it was an off the shelf clone they'd be saving some money.
  22. Glad you're enjoying yourself. Morey's is a really cool place with a great flat selection and Great White is a ton of fun.
  23. I agree with the person who said they liked Bizzaro's old theme. Bring back Medusa! One of the best color schemes on a coaster out there.
  24. Both would be welcome additions and I wouldn't mind one before the other in any order.
