Jcoaster replied to Live 4 Coasters's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This. Not in any order: Dudley Do-Rights - IOA Jurassic Park River Adventure - IOA The Simpson's Ride - Universal Orlando Thunder Creek Falls - Dorney Park Demon Drop - Dorney Park Dinosaur - Animal Kingdom Test Track - Epcot Pirates of the Caribbean - Magic Kingdom Escape from Pompeii - BGW Giant Canyon Swing - Glenwood Caverns -
Will B&M ever top the charts?
Jcoaster replied to Password121's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Fun and reliable rides? Yes. Chart toppers? I'm going to go with no. Intamin, RMC and Mack really have been pushing the envelope when it comes to coasters. What I'd like to see from B&M is a vertical lift looper with short trains and clamshell restraints....A man can dream right? -

Your opinion is your opinion. But I whole heartedly disagree with it. Comet is nowhere near as good as Wild One. I would rank Wild One as way better than Hershey's Comet but not as good as The Great Escape's Comet. -

I can't believe you don't think SFA is ascetically pleasing. Are you saying you don't like 6+ coasters in a field of weeds next to each other?! -

*Love Avalanche's theming. Who the hell doesn't love a good Avalanche in the middle of the Congo. -

That great part about this is that its perfectly okay. I highly doubt the park mamagement sat in the board room hovering around the table saying, "What can we do it order to "wow" BlahBlahson?" KI is getting a huge coaster. Its "wow" worthy anytime a park gets such a large addition when they already have so many coasters. As for the " lunch coaster" mentioned a few posts back. I'll be on the first train out if they install one of those. -

Looks like a great addition. I really need to get out to King's Island to ride this and the Beast at night. -
Kings Dominion (KD) Discussion Thread

It's not that nobody wants a coaster. I would like to see it as it is close for me. The truth is KD has just been stagnant since the I305 fiasco and likely has not yet seen much in the way of ROI. Cedar Fair's "Southeast Region" sees more potential in Charlotte than Richmond (and reasonably so) so for the time being KD is simply maintaining while money is getting pumped into parks and attractions that will bring in money. Tl:dr - The truth is I305 put an end to the KD glory days, for better or worse. Absolutely, this statement is spot on. King's Dominion will get new coasters in the future (It won't get the Dorney treatment). But don't expect ever to see anything on the scale of I305 ever again. -

Im staying in Baltimore for the weekend and already bought tickets to Yankees vs Orioles. I live 45 min from Gadv. Im gonna go to SFA. I can always go back next year need be. Just stay in the inner harbor and drink and ignore SFA. Remember these 3 things. Natty Boh, Orange Crushes, Old Bay Make those 3 things a part of everything you do in the Inner Harbor and you'll have an amazing weekend. Let's go O's. PS: At Camden Yards / Orange Crushes are called Camden Crushes and the thing they call an Orange Crush is an imposter. I'm a beer guy but trust me... Camden Crush right under the scoreboard on Eutaw Street. I've frequented the Inner Harbor for many years now. I'm partial to the Fell's Point area. We always take in a game and last year we did the Aquarium so this year we'll visit SFA. I have a season pass so its free anyhow. Natty Boh is amazing and I'll be throwing Old Bay on everything down there thats a rule. -

Wild One is awesome but it may kick your A$$ in a wheel seat. You've been warned. Ride in the middle row of any car. Will do. I remember the glorious painful airtime.
