Snow Coaster looks awesome! So jealous of all the snow you guys are enjoying. We got a few measly flurries in Alabama yesterday.

Just got caught up on all the secret santa goodness from the past few days! So sorry to those of you who haven't yet received your gifts. Unfortunately that's the post office for you. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this even bigger and better than last year! And especially thanks to Robb and Elissa for this little community that we have and for allowing us to have the gift exchange! And for those of you still waiting be sure to let us know when your gift arrives!

My secret santa gift arrived Monday evening, but I was at home yesterday dying of the plague (according to WebMD) so I haven't had a chance to post until now. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I LOVE my gift! Hmmm, what could it be? Gasp! No way! Yes way! It's a totally awesome box of 80s candy! My kids had no idea what Chiclets and Zotz were. This will change!!

Ally's present arrived today and she was beside herself! She's already putting makeup on herself and Cammy! Thank you, Kristen!

I know you didn't post in here that you like Amish stuff, but I know our shared guilty pleasure of fake Amish TV shows and tried to combine that with cooking and Star Wars. Oh she got it, no worries! It was just nearly impossible to take photos as she was running around with everything and moving and insisting on opening it all RIGHT NOW!!! You'll have to let her give you a makeover with her makeup designer set and show us the results!

There was a lot of screaming at the TV going on in our house! My husband threw over a chair, lol. But at least it's a more interesting game than just plowing over someone.

Got both of my girls gifts ordered and on their way! That completes are secret Santa shopping! Can't wait until more gifts start arriving so we can see what everyone gets!

We watched Arthur Christmas last week with the girls and we ended up going and buying it. It was the best Christmas movie we've seen in a long time! The girls enjoyed it and Danny and I found ourselves laughing, too. GrandSanta is hilarious!

I need to apologize in advance to my recipient. I wasn't paying close enough attention and missed the "gift" section while checking out on Amazon so your gift will not be wrapped all nice and pretty. Sorry! Hope you like it anyway!

Just ordered my secret santa gifts. They should be on their way to my recipient soon and I really hope he/she likes them! And I guess they'll find out who sent them since they'll have my address on the packing slips. Now I have to take the girls shopping so they can pick out their secret santa gifts! Don't forget to post pictures in here of what you receive! EDIT to tell my recipient that I ordered from two different places so there should be two packages coming!

Each person was assigned a number and then numbers were drawn and distributed. I had to do things a little strategically for some of the international folks who could only ship to certain countries, but other than that everything was completely by chance.

I just got two last minute entries in which upped it to 71. Sorry, Guy! And since so many of us are in so many different time zones there's really no exact way to close the sign-ups. With that being so, I am collecting the addresses in the Central time zone, and it is now 10:35 p.m. and it's my bedtime because I have to get up at 6:00 a.m. to get my child off to school, so I'm calling it closed. You've had plenty of time to not be a slacker and get your addresses in before now. Thank you and goodnight.

Okay everyone, I'm working on getting all the addresses assigned. Hopefully I'll have everything typed out and ready to PM to you all tomorrow. We ended up with 69 people participating!

I think I still prefer the stage. You just feed off a live audience; there is nothing like the feeling of performing for a full house. Curtain call is the best feeling while wrapping up filming for the day was kind of anticlimactic. But still, film has its advantages such as multiple takes if you screw up, lol.

Just wanted to let you all know about this movie that I AM IN (eek!). If you're friends with me on Facebook then you may have already checked it out, but if not then go show some love to the movie page. It's a local film being shot here in my hometown. I have no idea when/where it will be shown. I do know that the director is planning on entering it in some festivals next year. But we're currently not even finished filming yet. I started filming my scenes this past Saturday, and will have a few more days of filming in the next few weeks. I have lots of stage experience but this is my first film experience and I'm very excited! I'll keep you guys updated as things progress! Survive the Innocent

I guess I should go ahead and post interests for me and my girls. Me: Anything 80s related (cartoons, music, etc.), baking, anything theatre related, musicals, slightly nerdy stuff (yes, I love Star Wars), Disney stuff, I have eclectic taste in music (from 80s pop to bluegrass), funky nail polish colors, crazy socks (and I don't always wear socks that match), quirky t-shirts....maybe that's enough info. And any of you feel free to friend me on facebook if you want. Both of my girls (Ally is 7, Cammy will be 6 this month) love anything girly and sparkly. They love to play dress up, nail polish, jewelry, scarves, headbands, My Little Pony, Barbie, Squinkies, anything Disney. Ally's favorite color is teal. Cammy's is purple. Ally loves dinosaurs. Cammy loves elephants.

We didn't do that last year. As far as this year, I don't know. That would be something for Elissa to decide. EDIT: Just tried and it's fairly easy to search for a member (and I will include each person's username when I send you their address) and then just look at their posts and see what they posted in this thread. Pretty much the same amount of time/work it would take to find them on a private board. Six of one, half dozen of the other. Just the one thread worked well last year. But again, that's Elissa's call. I just organize the addresses.
