  1. Z-Force was the ex-Flashback. Rolling Thunder is the bobsled coaster before Southwest Territory was built. Shockwave was a coaster like GASM at SFGADV and Viper at SFMM. Took it down for Superman. The racing wooden rolller coaster is still standing...American Eagle. ^
  2. But I never get a flash pass. SFGAM is my homie park, so why by a flash pass if I will get a chance to ride it some other time this year? I have already ridden some coasters there over 30 times, and so I am set to go! Haha Does anyone remember Shockwave? Or Rolling Thunder
  3. Only park..... Six Flags Great America......... 13 times
  4. Haha, that is what happened when we got regular. SFGAM does not know how long their lines were. We went in line for Dark Knight and it said the wait was 60 minutes or less, and it was 8.... And for Viper, it said 45 minutes or less, and it was a walk on. Seems to me these people are lazy to change the sign or they actually think a walk on line is 45 minutes. Too bad they aren't gold flash passes...
  5. The regular passes work fine. Idk if it was a mixup, but we always waited 20 minutes virtually for a 2 hour line on raging bull. and like we would only wait 10 minutes for all rides no matter how long it was.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKkTFwLgNAk Gold passes for 200 dollars?!?! Are you kidding me? I thought they were just like 50 bucks more then regular. What is soooo good about Gold that makes it so expensive?
  7. ^^I would love to come! I always heard so much about you from soo many people. Haha. But like I said earlier, I might be busy. July 6th is a monday, so why would you get a flash pass is it is a weekday? Actually, it might be crowded, but what if it isn't? Would you go get a refund?
  8. Actually they are. I have talked with the Park President of SFGAM Mr. Salemi and he said that it encourages people to buy flash passes. And they even has the add for the flash passes on the sign that says _____ minutes from this point. Consider buying a flash pass blah blah blah -Jeremie
  9. I would go but I don't think anyone would want to meet up with me. And I might be in Sweden at the time. So not too sure.
  10. Yea. $15 for the back lot and $25 for the closer front lot. It depends what hotel. There is a Holiday Inn but it is across a highway. If it is Keylime Cove, they have a bus that you can take to the park. But I would recommend walking if it is close. I have the parking pass so I just use that. I would go on Superman first. Then to Verticle Velocity. Raging Cajun has a single riders line and that can be taken care of any part of the day. Dark Knight will be a long line so if you want to do that after Superman, it is your choice. American Eagle usually has both sides going, so that is a ride with high capacity. Iron Wolf you can take on any park of the day. Along with Demon American eagle. I will tell you rides that usually get a long line Superman-just popular hour wait Raging BUll-fast moving line less then 2 hours Verticle Velocity-could get an hour and 30 minute wait. Dark Knight-moderate moving line. 1 hour 20 minutes American Eagle- 40 minutes. A must ride, classie coaster for other rides Whizzer- 20 minutes. Must ride, last one of its kind in north america Viper- 40 minutes. loaded with airtime Demon. 20 minutes or less. 30 minutes rare. Iron Wolf- 10 minutes. Ride it to get over it. First B&M coaster ever built Jetsens Sprocket Rockets- 2 minutes? hah Rajun Cajun- 50 minutes. Single riders line recommended Batman- 45 minutes t0 hour and half, fast moving line. Water rides are a must ride. They are all fantastic. Giant drop doesn't get a long line. but Roaring Rapids can get 40 minutes.
  11. Oh, if you have anymore, you should ask. You will get many answers since so many people post in here.
  12. ^Yay! I can't wait to see the Liseberg update!
  13. WE may have a bad collection of flats. During Fright Fest, it gets better. Chubasco turns into a really fun flat during Fright Fest because it is in the dark. But I though we could use one more thrilling one that could be.....idk. A S&S swing like Skyhawk? Even though we have a bad collection of thrill rides, water rides seems to be good. Too bad they took out Splash Water Falls, we would have 5 water rides!
  14. They do this to get people to buy flash passes. Those signs would be the wait if the coaster was running one cart. Yea it is cheap. If you notice on the sign, it says to check out the flash pass center.
  15. ^You could put your camera over the fence from the midway. Glad the GP is having some love for the old ride. I would hate to see it go. What is everyones opinions on Revolution? I opnionly hate it. It doesn't go that high, and I get sick from it because I get pushed into my seat. MaXair looks better since you sit on outside and it goes high and doesn't spin as fast. Althought revolution looks cool at night during fright fest with the fog machines on the ground with fog everywhere. Post 100 in this thread
  16. ^Back is the best. I really prefer front on all, well most roller coasters. But Demon is better in back. IT is smoother then front, but yet bumby is still exposed during the ride. The front you get pushed into the loop pretty hard with some strong g's which I love. But bumpy in corkscrews, but back you get airtime in the front drop. But for some reason, I get tossed and turned in the tunnel in the back seat. But I think it is running great. They re-did the restraints and added a new coat of yellow on the other. I don't know if it is because I got taller, but definately smooth. I APPROVE!
  17. The trims barely due anything. Yea, minusing 2 mph of the overall speed will really ruin the ride. But Batman to me is bumpy. I think it is because of the pressure and it just bangs me everywhere. Same feeling on bull. Iron wolf is because of intamin trains on B&M track. (dont mix )
  18. ^Big Mike may be coming for you, but the guy next to him wants to hug you!
  19. Yea. I like it on both sides, but on the red one is better. Because you go faster and because it is bigger then the blue side.
  20. ^But if you read the post above, they wouldn't want more people to come. They are running out of food, and people are still coming. If they come, they will go to guest services and want a refund and they will never come back. I once was at Busch Gardens Africa with my mom. And she went to go complain to get refunds because their were crowds and somehow, she won. So we will use those tickets we got refunded from 2005 this year
  21. ^Same! Right after the helixes, it has a nice sudden drop but if your restraint is right against your leg, it can be painful. But that what makes an old woodie good! I love the shakiness and everything! When do the concerts start?
  22. ^I'd post it here since Big Mike makes it sooooo special! If you put it in the Scandi thread, Mike readers won't see it
  23. Finally^ I was getting worried about it being demolished. It is an original ride from the parks opening in 1976, although not in its original spot. I just hope it is popular enough even though it is hidden in the trees. But that makes the ride cool how it is isolated from the midway. -Jeremie
