  1. No, they are not. No matter the fancy name, size, or the type of lift, they go up, and come back down. They make a splash. Period.
  2. Does it really matter if StR and PP are chutes or flumes? They are both water rides that make a big splash and get people wet. End of discussion.
  3. Yeah Deja Vu's reopening was a nice surprise, and just in time for the summer crowds too. Although I may have been a bit of a jack--- to a girl behind me who asked me about my height while I was waiting in the front row for Deja Vu, so if you are on here, sorry about that! I think Roaring Rapids is still closed, and Ninja as well. Log Jammer was closed today. Goliath was closed throughout much of the day, opening at about 3-4 in the afternoon. Terminator broke down for about 15-30 minutes when I was in line, and after that, literally, half the line left. Would have been funny too if the ride opened just after they all left. Also, the park was fairly crowded, although I didnt pay attention to wait times. Total ride count: Colossus: 2x Goliath: 1x Terminator: 1x Deja Vu: 1x Revolution: 1x Jet Stream: 1x I want to add one more thing: if you want to buy a Papa John pizza cheesebread, they now serve them in boxes with about eight -ten pieces arranged like a mini pizza. I ended up buying two boxes because I still thought they served three pieces each, before I found that out lol.
  4. I am at the park right now, having a nice blueberry muffin at the Cyber Cafe. Rides so far: Terminator: 1x Colossus: 1x Goldrusher: 1x Jet Stream: 1x Deja Vu: 1x Deja Vu reopened today so I took a spin on it. MrSix's DanceCoaster still hasnt gone up yet, although I saw a few trucks pass by the site so maybe they are clearing the site up a little more. I'm also begining to believe that the main reason its taking so long with vertical construction is that Vekoma isnt finished with the new trains yet, so... I have a thought though on Gold Rusher. I know its the park's oldest coaster, but why not spruce it up a little by covering the entire ride and make it look like you are racing through a gold mine? Kinda like Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland, for a better refence to what I'm talking about. (and I'm NOT saying they should completely replace gold rusher, just spruce up the theming).
  5. ^That's only in our particular galaxy. The problem with finding alien life is the same with finding out what exactly killed the dinosaurs: we do not know enough, and likely never will. Unless we find a means of traveling from one planet to another, I highly doubt the we as a species will survive long enough to find alien life, unless it comes to us of course.
  6. ^ You mean Wac-a-mole 2, with fire effects and onboard audio?
  7. What's the status of SoB? Any work being done on it?
  8. Of course not. I'm just saying, whats the point of removing it when you can update it sometime in the near future. I'm sure it wouldnt draw hundreds of new people to the park, but I'm sure it'd be a well appreciated by everyone. Of course that'd mean they'd have to hike up the ticket prices to cover the cost. Oh, and I would so go running out to SFMM for a new monorail if it had fire effects and onboard audio "Metro 2-A Gladiator in the Coliseum of Transportation"
  9. ^Why remove them though when you can get someone to at least update the trains for it, if not sell the trains and buy new ones?
  10. ^I'm out for spring break next week Hopefully the park wont be too busy this weekend, as I might go this weekend.
  11. ^^That's of course assuming it'll be able to make it out of the station
  12. ^Its because they have the money and they actually think about what they are going to theme the ride around. Although I was disappointed with Grizzly River Run at DCA because there were no real grizzly bears on the ride
  13. ^I stand corrected I hate though we have to use them on select dates though.
  14. ^^ They have free friend passes. Two I believe per booklet.
  15. I'm excited to see what's in store for us in the new Kong building. I loved the 2005 remake, so watching the V-Rex v Kong battle should be amazing in 4D
  16. ^Its good that another bit of history gets saved
  17. Getting back on topic... When is the usual time SFMM starts releasing their commercials? I know summertime but I mean specifically.
  18. ^ I was told when I went about two weeks ago, on a Sunday, that they always run a one train operation on Sundays. For Terminator at least, idk about X2.
  19. Has X2 EVER been a walk on? I've never seen it without a decent sized line or longer.
  20. ^ Yeah, before some family comes around wanting to go to the Animal Farm, find out its "temporarily closed" and say, "We'll visit it next time." lol
  21. ^Was there anything going on at the Animal Farm?
  22. ^If you got the call, it was to confirm if you were still interested, and if you said yes, then you should have received the email.
  23. Anyone know though if we will get paid for this? JW
  24. ^^^ That sucks man. But hey, maybe someone might drop out! Just got the confirmation email. It includes the needed information and a map to the security gate we are supposed to go through.
