Thanks for the great event Robb + Chris and other organziers! I was with a few friends who are not enthusiants... we all had a great time.
Robb, when you and everyone went on Viper, the 4 of us were on the train you were about to get on, coming into the station (I was in front).
We were happy the lines stayed short through out the day..
Does anyone know if Ninja opened later? We got on everything but that.
P.S. - Freefall beat me up!!...wow
Yeah, it's almost as if the cycle is so short that CF didn't decide on that. But thats just my guess.
Do the non-CF owned Screamin Swings also have such a short cycle?
I remember the first time I ride S:TE in 2001 I think it was, the beginning straight part of the queue was literally PITCH BLACK. You really couldn't see ahead of you... it was crazy. In recent years there has never been line in that part of the queue when I ride it, so a little more light has come into it I think. Anyone else think it was a little too dark? I remember bumping into the people in front of me, you really couldn't see.
I didn't know line jumping was allowed at Disney parks. So your saying that, for example, if your in line for the Sun Wheel at DCA you can have as many extra people come in and join your 'group' just as your about to board? Now, I am using one of DCA's lowest capacity rides as an example, but still, is that really allowed?
This is where I got that from:
Sandor Kernacs, president of U.S. based Intamin Ltd. and IntaRide, LLC (each referred to as “Intamin” in this story), both headquartered in Maryland. “They are usually the most popular rides at the parks.”
I'm pretty sure the ACN webmaster took the video. I checked on ACN but I can't find it. I believe I have it on my old comp. If you can't find it M_Force_4_ever I will upload it. Let me know.
Hope you enjoyed your day at the Boardwalk. I wish I could have been there so we could pound it...haha ...but I got off work before you were there I think. I'm a ride operator there.
It depends how much the riders weigh. With an 'average' group of riders, the music is in sync. With an empty load, like a test run, it takes almost no time at all to launch. The heavier the load, the more time it takes to fill the air tanks.
about Cal Screaming music:
on August 15th (last Tuesday):
morning - running 1 side, 3 trains (NO music)
afternoon - breaks down, evacuations
evening - running 4 trains, both sides! (WITH music!)
and it seemed to me that the trims were on less than before
it was all very interesting...
Here's a good thread on Roller Coaster Pro with many pictures. Be aware that some of the pictures are not available anymore.

I think PKI was mentioned by Kinzel to detract from the real deal going on:
I mean, whoever said that Paramount was selling their parks individually?
IMO Cedar Fair is gonna buy ALL FIVE parks.
You do not want this ride at PKI. Not that its a horrible ride, its just thats its ... well, on the bad side. Does anyone who has been on Survivor think its that great?
