  1. Just be glad that she's with a TPR member and not with an ACEr.
  2. I can't believe you left me out of that entire post, I was there with her for the most part and had an amazing day. Especially when we were both single riders and got paired up with each other.
  3. I'm going out to the park today, i'll update later today when I get back.
  4. Yesterday was just an amazing day for me at the park. It was season pass holder preview day, so I managed to get 8 rides in during that. My friend got in 18 rides, man this ride packs a punch, sure doesn't look like it but go for row 6 or 3. I was just blown away at how great this ride is. I also saw some of the park management waiting in the exit, they were at the bay area bash last year, I told them they had a winner on their hands.
  5. Oh, i'll definately be there on saturday, i'll be there bright and early, wanna get a good parking spot close to the tram.
  6. Just saw this post on the Knott's Scary Farm FB page about Trapped. The VIP Maze Trapped will not have a line. You will need a reservation to enter. How do you get a reservation? Ah, the big question. And the answer will be revealed soon. Sounds like it could be interesting.
  7. Assuming there is WCB at SFMM. I know a lot of people weren't too happy after this year's WCB at the park. But if there is WCB, ERT on this would be quite amazing. (I would assume with S:EFK as well.) That's true, I've actually completely forgotten how bad it was this year compared to other years. But yeah, for us patient people out there, this is another option.
  8. Or you can just wait till WCB next year for ert on LL:DOD.
  9. Multiple times, but I think the most notable one for me was The Demon at CGA. This was the first year of the Haunt, I believe I got at least 20 rides in, then moved on to do the same at just about everything else.
  10. I didn't know about the shortcut by Delirium at CGA until coasting for kids. It also has a nice area to lay down on the grass and just be away from the crowds.
  11. I've also heard from my source of info that we could expect to see this go vertical in august. They won't work on the lift until the off season.
  12. Yesterday at CGA, I was just walking by a group of people and over heard them say, "Hey, lets go ride Ghostrider!" and then they went sprinting for Grizzly.
  13. I'm just glad to finally see a video of this beast testing. I've been really anxious to see how it looks while maneuvering around the course.
  14. I'm at 150, my opening day run really helped me get started.
  15. I'll probably go to the park on friday to go check everything out and continue my journey to 200 rides on FD. It'll change to 300 once I reach my goal.
  16. Last I saw most of the drainage pipes were done and being covered up.
  17. Amen, thats what pretty much summed up my day right there. Pretty much hit the nail on the head right there, it was a great day all around.
  18. Being a part of Team TPR at CGA yesterday was a lot of fun, yeah there may have been some slip up's in what they promised us but we all managed to make a fun day out of it. I sorta managed to get back at them (all out of fun by the way) by getting Flying Eagles to E-stop within 30 seconds of the ride starting it's cycle. But eh part that tops it all off has to be the woodstock express takeover. It was great meeting a lot of new people and seeing some familiar faces as well. I hope to see everyone again real soon.
  19. Great America hasn't had a real coaster open in over 10 years. You guys have no right to bitch about the name of it. They could call the thing "Coaster Man Dumping Waffle" and it would still be the best thing to happen to the park in most of your lifetimes. So, STFU about the name, already. Seriously. --Robb "Nuff said" Alvey
  20. I find that to be quite funny, we got rid of a great coaster (it had it's good and bad times) and now they're getting the same thing. I was wondering how long it would take for those problems to surface on Stinger.
  21. I'm doing back to back days here at CGA, doing some training sessions of my own. Also yesterday, the ride-op at Peanuts Pirates gave me a high five for an excellent ride. I started spinning it WAY before the ride even started and it just held through the whole ride cycle, I was so dizzy that I had to go sit down for a few minutes.
  22. How about now? Thanks Robb, I was really wondering if I could make the minimum for the event. Looks like I need to start my training.
  23. I'm feeling very lonely down at the bottom of the donations page for Great America.
