  1. So I've gotten a couple more donations for coasting for kids! So that means you all get everything I have in my stock pile from 2011, and starting off this year! And I'll throw in some stuff from 2009 as well. Keep donating, and I'll keep going back into the archives to find more This report will be broken up into 3 parts. Apparently I just like all my pictures and it's hard to narrow it down (but hey I got down from 95 to 66 so that's something). Up first is the first part of day 1 of the Northeast Trip Quassy/Lake Compounce. Leave comments after each part, it breaks up the pictures! I know some people don't like that, but I don't mind! While Quassy, might not be this big huge park, it got a nice little woodie last year. Happy TPR people ready for the first official ride of the trip! POV time! Some signage A look at the lift hill. I believe this was Bobby's 100th credit. Chris and Bobby getting ready to enjoy the awesomeness that is Wooden Warrior. Park Map I wonder why I think of a certain Tom Petty song here? Did you really think we'd pass up a kiddie coaster? Of course not! Some signs around the park. The lake. Our nice little sign. We got to have food in the Birthday pavilion. Wood! I like wood. So does Chris. Birthday chair or Torture device? Entrance! Part two will go up later this afternoon!
  2. It looks like I'm going to be busy updating the Forst Files. Thank you! I'll now have my thread up-to-date as soon as I can!
  3. I had no idea that GKTW was that massive. Off to watch that video now.
  4. Thanks to whoever just donated to me on my page If you want a park map from Great Adventure, a Philadelphia Zoo map, and a Coney Island map, PM me your address, and I'll mail them out to you.
  5. Thanks Jojo! I should have Quassy/Lake Compounce up either tonight or tomorrow. I've got to pick the pictures and resize them.
  6. That is so great that you'll keep making more room for stars! Hopefully, I'll be able to make some donations later in the week when I get paid!
  7. ^Of course not And Just watched the chipmunk video, so adorable!
  8. ^Oh dear. You have quite a few blackmail pictures of me Steve's not looking serious, he's looking like Oh dear god, I've got to ride with the crazy one ^^Chad, all of Coney Island was a bit expensive. $8 is a bit much but for Coney Island it seems like the right price.
  9. That's awesome! Looks gorgeous. Was there a big temp. Difference fom where you started to the top?
  10. ^That's awesome Chad! Maybe this year I'll do them if I do Coney Island, I'm thinking just pizza tour this time around though.
  11. You dirty whore Chad, and Chris for that matter too. Loved the report. I wish all the gheto carnivals near me had coasters.
  12. Ok, back from munching on Easter candy it's time for part 2 of Coney Island! I'm sure there are some interesting happenings going on when that alleyway is open. Some more Cyclone love. And another Doctor Who nerds can appreciate the Roman Rory reference here. In front of the Cyclone. Group shot! (Laurie, Brian, Me, John) Beach view! Deno's Wonder Wheel park map. Of course on the boardwalk you can find a Moses action figure. And if you want some classical music, there's a mozart action figure too. Ladies, if you want to keep your men, I'm sure this is solid advice. The boys who like girls and the girls who like girls get the grow a girlfriend, where's the grow a boyfriend for the girls who like dudes and the dudes who like dudes??? View from the pier. I'm running out of witty comments for this. After the coasters, the four of us in the group shot of the cyclone spent some time out on the pier. It was nice and relaxing. So it means we didn't ride a lot of other rides. Hope you enjoyed Coney Island! Up next is Quassy and Lake Compounce. And like I said after part 1, to see more from the NE trip, donate to coasting for kids
  13. Phil, let's just say my back felt nice and readjusted afterwards, lol and I rode in the front car too. I still have the other half the pictures to post, I got distracted by my random easter candy sitting around
  14. Thanks Phil! (Fast Pass/Fast lane/QBots, whatever they are called are awesome. I don't know how I lived without the use of one until the TPR trip last year).
  15. Yeah, the Bournemouth Pier was absolutely adorable. I'd like to see it in the Summer when it's filled with kids. And yes Knoebels is love. I more often than not call it my "home" park even though it's an hour and 45 minutes away from me, and I have other parks that are closer. Ok, I'm now up to the TPR Northeast Trip 2011!!!! To start off the trip I decided to do the one add on day to Coney Island. What can I say, it lived up to my expectations, and if you ask TPR member John (forces) maybe just maybe he can find a way to upload to here the video of me on the Wonder Wheel. But I know what you want, you want pictures. The pictures will be broken up into two posts. 25 in each. So here is where I try to be funny and fail. Enjoy Coney Island! Getting off the bus and this is what awaits us! Sign shot! I'm on the boardwalk. Oh and Brian is in the background too. *Hi Brian!* Wonder Wheel and TPR members standing around waiting until we could go ride the Cyclone. Wonder Wheel Cyclone lift hill porn for ya! Now why would I want to take a picture of the Circus coaster at Luna Park? Milestone! Ride sign The Tickler. Spinning crazy mouse. Meh, not horrible but not amazing either. I hate spinning rides so these aren't my favorite coasters. Deno's! Oh yes, we whored this baby out. There was even a guy who didn't quite grasp the concept of a line of adults, and tried to cut in front of us. He got the hint when we all went uh yeah of course we're riding why do you think we are IN LINE? Wonder Wheel. Not a fan of the swinging seats. I hate Ferris Wheels with a passion so this wasn't high up on my list. Scream zone. I know I also rode spook-o-rama, but I don't have pictures of it. I kept my eyes closed so I have no idea what went on during the ride. Soarin' Eagle. Better than Time Warp at Canada's Wonderland, but still laying in a cage isn't that great. lift hill thing. Steeplechase. Cute ride. Uncomfortable on scars, but still fun. When in Coney Island, eating at Nathan's is a must. I don't mind their hot dogs, but I really do like their cheese fries. It's home to the hot dog eating contest. Subway station Is there a better name for bumper cars? I think not. Better sign this time. see I told you they were bumper cars! PS- Donate to coasting for Kids, and get more of my 2011 season. I've just got over $125 now so after Part 2 of Coney Island you'll get to see Day 1 of the TPR trip!
  16. Kara, that's beautiful. I love the stars. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Ok, I have $117 in donations so far, that's great because that means you all get to see the Coney Island update from the TPR Northeast Trip last year. Remember to check out the Forst Files to see all my updates so far. If I get up to $125 in donations, you'll see Day 1 of the TPR trip. And the more you donate the more PTR's will go up. I'm sure you guys want to see what an awesome time I had at Great Adventure this weekend don't you? Donate enough $ and you'll get to my 2012 adventures Also I have some incentives for people. For $2 donation, I'll give you a 2012 Great Adventure Park map (first 11 people for now, I'm going back on the 29th of the month I can get more maps then). Also for $2 donation, I have 7 Philadelphia Zoo maps (again first 7 people, don't know when I'm getting back to the zoo). For a $3 donation I have 2 2011 Coney Island Fun Maps, 2 maps from Six Flags New England (2011), 2 maps from the Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom (2011), and 1 2011 map of La Ronde. (again first come first serve) After you donate send me a PM with your name/address and what map you would like. I'll keep updating so everyone will know what is left Let's go Team TPR we can get to $10k in donations!
  18. Don't know how I missed the Disney stuff, but omg that is amazing. I wish Disney would go back to that. There is something so beautiful about it all. Can't wait to see your credit whoring skills.
  19. Looks like a cute little park. that zip line ride looks kind of fun!
  20. ^ agreed. Nitro was a bit slow too. Nothin like superman slow, but still annoying enough. It was still a good day.
