Yeah,the third waterslide in HH in 3 years while the ride side of the park hasn't seen anything new since 2003. That's not true. The rides side recieved Catapult and Splash Water Falls after Astroworld closed. -Tatum I was reffering to SFA's lack of new ride additions in the ride side,not SFNE's.

Anyhow SFNE screwed up by starting construction on their coaster before they obtained the needed permits,it's not the city or state's fault,it's SFNE's.It's unfortunate that they have to scrap the ride as a result & there are gonna be a lot of upset locals who bought their passes with the hopes/expectations of a new ride being added in 08 but sometimes crap happens & you've gotta deal with it. The park's actions in this case may really hurt them in the future when it comes to new ride additions as the city may be loathe to issue permits for construction only to find out that the park jumps the gun on construction instead of following the rules & waiting for the permits to be issued.

Should be memorial day weekend. I signed up the other day for the site via IE-7 & was successful but noticed the other day that when I saved the page to my aol faves list it says I'm not logged in. I'll try to login tomorrow & see what happens & if it doesn't work throug haol I'll just have to do it through IE-7

SFOG just got Goliath a couple of years ago so they DON'T need a new coaster yet,if any park needs a new coaster it's SFA as they havn't gotten a new one since 2001 & they havn't seen ANYTHING installed in the ride side of the park in five years now. Also they owe the park big time for sending them a damaged coaster from SFAW for the 2006 season that couldn't be installed but knowing SFI they'll either send the coaster to a park that is getting one this year for 09 or...more than likely they'll just cancel the order & get a refund from the manufacturer.

^^I doubt that they'll ship it all the way to SFMM for 09 & besides they owe us folks in MD. big time for the ultra twister disaster (sending a broken beyond repair ride from Texas to Maryland) anyway.

Then what would happen to the building that it was going to be built in? it would be a total waste to demolish it. They'll probably remove it & perhaps send the coaster to another park that could use it more than SFNE because with pandamonium they already have a mouse style coaster anyway & as a result don't need a second one.

It should be memorial day weekend if all goes as planned.

There are some new pics on KIcentral but not much has changed.From what I recall hearing Rebel yell's left side is being retracked & should open sometime in may.

It sounds like they're gonna build it minus the building & therefore just retheme it to something else when they could've just relocated the ride & theming to another park that is more in need of a coaster right now than SFNE is.

Nice video collection but there's just one thing: I ohh so hate waiting for youtube videos to load because whenever you press the play button the darn thing stops every second or two....is it just me or does that happen to everyone regardless of how advanced their PC's are?

I tried signing up yesterday & couldn't get past the darn TOS page,I'd click on the "I agree to the TOS" link to proceed to the next step in the process only to have it refresh the same page.The same thing happens to me whenever I go to post over at coastercrew's forums,I hit the "submit reply" button after typing a post only to have it bring me to the same page & it usually takes upwards of 20 tries before a post finally goes through which explains why I hardly post there anymore. I think that it's due to the forum software (phbb forums) clashing with aol making it impossible to use the forum that's causing the problem so perhaps you might want to consider using a different forum like v-bulletin instead?

Thanks for posting the forums link,what I was trying to do on my site is simply C&P other photos from say rcdb.com but my guess is that they're too large to copy & paste. I'll try using some pics that I took with my digital camera of the computer screen first to see if that works.

Nice just keep me posted. Slightly OT have you got any experience uploading photos to blogspot pages? I've recently launched a themepark blog at blogspot & want to do photo updates covering KD & SFA but cannot seem to get my pics C&P's into the post window & it's driving me nuts here.

Bad news I'm afraid.I was trying to find out why the KDconnection forums were down by going to the homepage only to get a message from the webmaster that they've pulled the plug on the site entirely,which makes no freakin sense as they had a good base in the forums. Now we don't have any sites devoted to the park anymore which really stinks & there's no word yet on wether or not KDsource will be returning either.

Man is it just me or does Berserker now look like crap with the new color scheme?From what little I could see in that shot posted on page # 21 it looked as if they had some surplus "Shockwave" paint to go around this year so if the ride's supports look that bad I can barely imagine what the boat itself must look like.

It certainly looks done to me,now all that remains is for painting and testing to be done.

Someone on the KD connection forums got some great shots of a nearly completed Dominator the other day & from the looks of things all that remains to be put in place is the final helix & the bunny hop leading into the brakerun.

^^The loop will not remain yellow,it will be painted a lighter shade of orange than the rest of the track.

Looks good. BTW,how do you add pics to your blog? I created a new themepark blog on blogspot recently & tried uploading a pic into a post I was working on last night regarding rebel yell running forward this year but the image I selected from RCDB wouldn't load,I just got a red "X" in the corner of the create new post screen.

For a floorless coaster,yes it still holds the record but who cares about such things when in the end the ride will still be a good one that will attract many people to the park?

Finally! someone is able to provide us with a much needed photo update,man that thing is huge!!! I can hardly wait til my trip down to KD in july so I can ride this thing,good thing that it should definitely be up & running by then too.

SFMM has been getting coaster after coaster since at least 2003 at the rate of one every two years while SFA remains the ONLY park in the chain to not recieve a new coaster since 2001 now that SFOT is recieiving a coaster for 2008. SFMM needs flats more than they need yet another coaster right now.
