  1. New photos Wow many more track segments. This one curve looks TIGHT! Mybe we even get some airtime there... Sebastian"Now off to the stadium"Rötten
  2. New photos from today are here It seems as if the loop is finished and there are already new track segments that continue the track after the loop. And the walls that are built around the lifthill get higher and higher... maybe it will be completely enclosed?
  3. Wow all those people are looking so small compared to the supports or the track. I never saw any B&M Coaster in the real life, so i think I'll be very impressed when I'll go to the Phantasialand next year even if most of the caster is ounder the ground
  4. Wow look how steep it is and how deep it goes under the earth. I thinks that will be lots of fun!
  5. Wow that looks funny and guess what? It's an self operated ride The only catch is that xou have to be at least 8 years old and you have to weight less that 65kg. Thats impossible
  6. It seems that the whole track is now stored at the Phantasialand, so we can be sure that there is more track construction coming soon... Sebastian"looking forward to that"Rötten
  7. Bandit at the Movie Park Germany on one of the Halloween weekends. Normally it sucks but in the dark with some nice tunes from Billy Talent it's okay
  8. That chnages so often but for the moment it is in no particular order: Not Now-Blink182 Bullet Theory-Funeral For A Friend Until The Day I Die-Story Of The Year All My Hope-Unblest Hand Of Blood-Bullet For My Valentine Wisemen-James Blunt (that fits huh ) State Of The Union-Rise Against Take It Away-The Used
  9. 3 hours Rise Against? That must have been a dream come true  Next concert for me will probably be Bullet For My Valentine 1/31/06. They do rock!^^
  10. Oh it doesn't look good for the German teams... Even if I don't like those teams, when they play in the Bundesliga, especially, when they play against Mönchengladbach, it would be nice to see some more teams surviving the first round...
  11. Yes the tor goes all around the World. In the Spring they are in America in the Summer there is a break and then they move onto Australia, Asia and then europe. Is here somebody else who saw one of the shows?
  12. I just read: "homo faber" by Max Frisch (for the school) Stephen Kings "The Dark Tower" (is it called like that in english?) part 5&6 in the vacation (part 7 isn't released yet :? ) and I am currently reading: "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck (for the school, in english :? ) That's it.
  13. Hey folks it's been a while since I posted anything but I thought I let you know that I'm back by posting a new concert review. Last Sunday evening I visited the last show from the Taste Of Chaos tour that some of you may know from the US or anywhere else on this planet... I started the day at the apartment of Anna, a very good friend of mine and my company of the day. We left at around 2pm and arrived in Cologne at 3:30pm and we first stopped by McDonalds next to the dome, then we went over to Burger King an then we made fun of some street actors that were doing some weird stuff in front of the dome. We left the city and took a subway to the Palladium, where the concert should be. We arrived at 5:15pm and had to wait until 6:30pm when they finally opened the doors and let us in. I do only write something about the 5 bigger bands, because I can't really tell you how the smaller bands were and I do only remember two names: "Bleed The Dream" and "My American Heart". Now onto the 5 big bands in chronological order: Funeral For A Friend: Ireally didn't expect that they would open up the show but they did a pretty good job They were one of the Main reasons for me to come to Cologne. The crowd liked them and they even played "Red Is The New Black" which seems to be very rarely played in their shows. Rise Against: YEAH! My main reason to come to the show. I love them! Their performance wasn't the best nothing compared to Story Of The Year but they really heated up the crowd with songs like "State Of The Union", Life Less Frightening, Blood To Bleed and of course Give It All, which they dedicated to the Soccer World Cup 2006 in Germany. Nice Idea and really powerfull! I loved them Story Of The Year: Wow they really surprised me. They threw their guitars over the stage, did crazy stunts from the speakers and did an amazing performance. Definately the surprise of the evening. I remember that they played Until The Day I Die, In TheShadows and a lot more... Killswitch Engage: they were bad. Maybe just not my music but I'm not the only person who thinks that they didn't really fit in to the show programme... The Used: They were amazing! I can't understand the people who say they are bad life performers. I think they had the most fans in the hall and all in all they did a good job as the headliner of the evening. Take It Away was there first song, really powerfull, and a good choice to take it as the first one. One very funny thing was as Bert (the singer) asked: "Can I Scream?" Of course everybody shouted: "Yeah!" and then he screamend. And man, he can scream as hell 8) Poor microphone It was already 11:30pm we had to get our train, the show was over and we left. We made a little stop at McDonalds and then got our train back to Mönchengladbach. I was home at around 2am. Late enough when you consider that I had school at 8am on the enxt day...^^ Enough said now onto the pics. Sorry for the bad quality but they are made with my mobile phone... Again "4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser" even if it looks like "4 lnisch Wasser". Did you recognize that my camera sucks? It's mot long until christmas... BTW That's it. Have fun with the pics That should look funny, but it doesn't. Anyway, I post it... Midnight Snack by McDonalds. It is really a cosy McDonalds, there! Thats's the center stage. Blurry because it was dark. There was a smaller stage in the right beneeth it, where the smaler bands played. Yes she actually is that small Me and my white teeth. Sunset over the rhine in Cologne. It actually looked pretty good but through the subways window, which hasn't been cleaned in years and because of my camera it sucks :/ The Vines, Anna, beer and the dome... what elso do you want? Prosit Kölle^^ ARGH bad quality but this guy looked exactly like Robbin Williams We didn't give him any money The colognes don't like Altbier and Mönchengladbach because the football clubs are rivals... Me as a real guy from Mönchengladbach has to show, where I come from, even if I get some problems with the colognes... The Cologne Dome and "4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser" Stop at Burger King for lunch. Me and Anna getting ready for the evening with some nice music in the train. Anna with the rest of our beer for the day: 1litre Desperados an 1litre Diebels The first beer of the day; Ozujsko Pivo from Croatia. Very tasty (note even if I'm only 16 it is nothing illegal for me to drink beer here in Germany )
  14. In Germany they are right now broadcasting different commercials (I think for the new VW Passat), where they use those videos. They are cool. I like the Shining one... 8)
  15. New pics from yesterday are here That looks so damn hot! I really can't believe that this is built in my area. I think we should arrange some kind of a little TPR meet for next year...
  16. New pics are here: http://freizeitparkweb.de/cgi-bin/dcf/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&forum=DCForumID1&om=2761&omm=68&viewmode= Sebastian"only 5 more months, only 5 more months, only 5 more months... "Rötten
  17. #146 I'm the German one, who is almost in the Netherlands and just around 10 miles away from the Vekoma headquaters...^^
  18. They are going on pretty fast: the theming is moving on fast and the next track parts and supports were build today. Here you can find pics of today!
  19. So i just bought some new clothes and shoes and I thought I should share my new look with everyone here... BTW: I think I look pretty good in that pic (and don't pay attention to the background...^^) Yay it's me!
  20. There are to many good bands to chose one favorite, so I'll post a few of mine: Blink 182 (all time favorite) Rise Against Funeral For A Friend Billy Talent Yellowcard Chevelle Foo Fighters Millencolin MCR and last but not least: UNBLEST Unblest is a local Nu Rock band but they have potential to become very big in the biz I would recommend you to check out there site and download both songs you can download for free there http://www.unblest.net
  21. I haven't been to many concerts until now but my favorites would be: MCR last month (I posted a CR^^) Blink 182 with Suagrcult & The Kinisons last December. Both were awesome and I really have good memories to them. There was another concert that really liked but that was more a local event. It was called SAJ Open Air and my favorite local band played an amazing accoustic set there. This band is called "Unblest" and if you like Nu Rock you definetely have to check out there site http://www.unblest.net and download the two songs "Dead Summer" and "All My Hope". Especially "All My Hope" is amazing. My favorite song right now. By far! Sebastian"Very Good Band, even if it's not a famous one"Rötten
  22. Yesterday I visited the match 1.FC Köln-Borussia Mönchengladbach in the "Rhein Energie Stadion" in Cologne. This match is very important for both clubs because it is "our" derby. Cologne unfortunately won 2:1 but we have the chance to do it better on Tuesday when we play against Werder Bremen. I think we'll win on tuesday Here are 3 pics: They had a huge choreography but that's usual for local derbys. Unusual is that it shows a half naked warrior but hey we are in Cologne: Germany's San Francisco The Borussia Fans make party! I think we were loeder than the cologne fans The Stadium from the outside with it's weird looking towers, that look like some kind of a suspencion bridge
  23. Wow those are really stadiums of Universitys? How many students are at such a University. Those stadiums seem to be really big :o BTW the Pittsburgh stadium together with the background looks amazing!
  24. I have to pick Black Mamba just because it seems to be the best themed ride for next year (OK it might be EE but this is a Vekoma^^)and it is directly in my neighbourhood. And BM seems to be the the best B&M invert since a long time.
  25. No your not making this up and in addition to that it seems like this 5g helix will be one of the underground sections, where they are hanging this weird nets up right now. Dude I'm so dammit looking forward to ride this thing next spring! Did you see how highly banked the first drop will be? That's so cool!^^ Sebastian"Wondering where the restaurant fly through will be?"Rötten
