Roughest coaster
topthrillmaverick replied to jbuck's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Before then new trains the Wildcat was really rough. At the bottom of the first drop it felt like your body was being broken apart and the turns after that....ouch. It was quite painful but the new GCI's make it so much better. -
Roughest coaster
topthrillmaverick replied to jbuck's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wild Beast at Canada's Wonderland. Ouch, that was the roughest ride I have ever been on. Getting off of it I had a throbbing headache and almost fell over I was so rattled. I will never go on that again. -
Knoebels Power Outage
topthrillmaverick replied to no cars go's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hah, I was just reading about this actually. Since I live only 10 minutes away from the park I too lost power but it came back on after just a few minutes. However, I did lose my cable and internet connection all night and just got it back on a few hours ago. It would've been weird being there in the dark though, and I feel bad for all the people who had to be 'rescued' from the sky ride. -
RCT3 Problem
topthrillmaverick replied to topthrillmaverick's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Ok, sorry about taking so long to get back, but I was surprisingly busy over the last day or so. Anyway, I can now say that it does not seem like the Splitting coaster has the same problem as the 4D ones. Does shed any more light on the situation? -
I totally agree with that! I really like Hydra's super slow roll though. It's probably my favorite pre-lift I've been on. However, I do like the slow anticipation on TTD even though its a pre-launch...

RCT3 Problem
topthrillmaverick replied to topthrillmaverick's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Actually I'm not sure. But if I remember correctly it didn't happen last time I made a splitting coaster. I'll see today if it does and I'll tell you. -
Well, in my RCT3, I just started to build a Multidimension coaster, which is something I haven't attempted in years. I've noticed though that if I go past 180 or -180 degrees my cars spin uncontrollably until the rotation is brought back below 180 degrees. Is this a glitch or is it a major problem on the disc? And, is there anything I can do about it?

Weird roller coasters.
topthrillmaverick replied to Rct3man777's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I agree. Man, I'm being hurt just looking at that....thing -
Would you count a hill as scenery?? I was landscaping and my one hill went like two squares out of the blue and I wasn't sure if it was "scenery" or not. Also how do you use custom supports?? I'm a total noob at using them since I've never downloaded the pack before and I can't seem to get anything to work. Its driving me nuts!

Castle Rock Park [RCT2]

Wow! This park is awesome. I just downloaded it and I must say, I'm impressed! Great job! I hope to see more parks from you in the future. -
Getting stuck on a ride!
topthrillmaverick replied to disneygurlz2s's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I got 'stuck' on Top Thrill Dragster a few years back. Sadly it wasn't a rollback or getting stuck on the top or anything like that. My friend and I were going on one last ride before the park closed and we got on the ride at about 9:45pm (CP closed at 10 that night). We were the second of two cars sent out of the station and after watching the car in front of us launch we rolled into launch position. After that we heard a clunk (I really don't think it was part of the ride) and just sat there. It was...I don't know, like 15 minutes before anything happened. We were just stuck on the launch track, with people watching us from below when suddenly we rolled back and then launched. It was just like that. It was totally unexpected but was pretty fun because no one expected to launch like that. -
Well, today was supposed to be the grand opening of Wild Waters Amusement Park (for those of you who noticed I used 'supposed', congratulations.) However, due to circumstances way beyond my control, this cannot happen any time soon. Yesterday, for some reason, my computer crashed and totally erased all of my data for RCT3. I don't know why, maybe it was a virus of something. Whatever it was it sucks. Really bad. So I guess I'll have to close this thread indefinitely because I lost all of my data of this park. Maybe sometime I'll get another park up, but only time will tell. Thanks for everyone's feedback and I will definitely think about what has been said and try to fix as much as I can when I get RCT3 running again.

Blue Man Group a few weeks ago. Quite good actually, I want to see them again!

BREAKING NEWS! I managed to get my hands on three of the sketches that were released (even though they were quickly taken off the internet) and I really like what I'm seeing. I really hope that this ride comes to the park eventually. An overview of sorts I guess. A bit blurry but it looks kind of...castle like?? Looks like a sketch of a room inside. What is it though? A living room? Bedroom? Giant skull room I'm guessing. It looks like they want to make his eyes flame... Well I hope you liked those pictures. Feel free to speculate on what it is because I sure have no idea. I'm just hoping this doesn't deter the park from putting it in... Oh, and here is a quick shot I snapped of the construction zone. Why is random lumber lying around.......???

So a few more days went by and I decided to stop by the park once again and boy was I surprised to see what they put in! Well here's the new trains. Longest I could make them because of how the station is situated. 18 isn't too bad, I don't really care if they aren't realistic though, some coasters only have 3 trains. A new Peep Relations building was added with a First Aid building, Information Kiosk, and an ATM. Bathrooms were added as well. A fun house (Twisted Fun) was also squeezed in behind Edelweiss Cafe. And, oh my! A giant wheel was constructed?!?! That was some amazingly fast construction then! It really adds to the (nonexistent) skyline of the park. But it was also really squeezed in there as well. Along with all that, fencing was finally added around the fountain. There you have it. Another update. As always comments, critiques, and tips are appreciated.
